Chapter 23: Vacation?
Kaji didn't stay in the capital for too long, he could only stay there for one more day, before leaving. He spent most of his time training with Reinhard, Kaji managed to learn some things from him, but they would only be useful while fighting opponents who wielded a sword like his.
While Kaji was in the capital he didn't forget to go to the marketplace to search for anything of interest. He did buy some things he found interesting, while he walked around he familiarised himself with the capital city, just in case he needed to be in the future.
The last day was over before he knew it, therefore he and the clown returned to the mansion the very next morning. The traveling was the boring part for Kaji, but this gave him time to think about other kinds of magic he could use. And only now, he realized he could enchant rings for himself, for example making a ring with a special storage.
Of course, that would use up a lot more magic than expected but it was worth it. Kaji was thinking of rings and other accessories, he couldn't help but want to start enchanting things. He could actually increase his physical strength with them or maybe he could make more mana storage with them. The possibilities were endless, Kaji could only blame himself for now thinking of these kinds of things sooner.
While Kaji was lost in his own thoughts, Roswall was smiling happily thinking that he did good, after all, he did what the book told him to do. Kaji, on the other hand, was thinking of ways to break past the blessings that Reinhard has even if they were friends now, it didn't mean he should be less careful, right?
After returning back to the Mathers domain, where the mansion was, Kaji was greeted by three girls. They were dressed in their usual maid outfits, looking as cute as ever. They greeted the clown respectfully, but the moment he went away, they hugged Kaji, and started asking questions about the capital city.

Three years have passed, Kaji was now a twelve-year-old boy, he was taller than before and much more muscular too. He spent these years training, making enchantments, he spent his time with the girls too, but most importantly he was able to collect the mana needed to travel to another world.
To collect the proper amount he had to create accessories that he kept on himself at all times to absorb mana. He improved his tattoos too, he mixed the blood of many different creatures he even added some of Reinhard's blood, but it wasn't enough so he had to resort to actual items, he enchanted them and wore them until they were full of mana.
It took him years to collect enough mana but he did it, and now he could actually go to a new world. He hoped that the world he went too, was also good for improving his abilities.
Still, it wasn't the only thing that he did through the years, he trained the girls too, and the results were amazing. They were strong, really strong, Rem was as strong as her own, older anime counterpart. Ram could wipe a city off the face of this planet if she used all she had with her wind magic. And Frederica was getting better, and better at hand-to-hand combat.
Many things happened, but one of the more important ones, was that the twins started to mature, and now they had feelings for Kaji, who they used to see as a big brother. To them he was the only person they cared for, at the same time, Kaji told them about Roswalls involvement in the destruction of their clan. Of course, the twins were furious, but Kaji managed to calm them down with head pats, and some other premises.
He had convinced them that there was a time and a place for things, and it wasn't the time for that. He told them about his plan to travel to another world so he could become stronger, and the two decided that he needed to take them with him. He couldn't refuse, after all, it's better to take them with him, they could learn to fight actual opponents that weren't mabeasts.
And so the three of them decided to take a vacation, from their work in the mansion, of course, Kaji just left a note for the clown that they were leaving to go on vacation. Kaji wondered how will Roswaall's face look like after he reads the note. Kaji went back to his room to prepare for the trip while calling the twins there too.
The twins informed Frederica of their little vacation beforehand, after all, they couldn't just leave without informing their best friend. Kaji created a magic circle below them, as the three of them held hands, the red-colored circle started glowing brightly before the three of them disappeared. This was the start of their adventure, in another world, it was the beginning of a new legend.
