Chapter 1: Ch. 1 Host Club?

Alice was in the same 'class' as Tamaki Sou, her best childhood friend. As far as her bloodline and where she came from anyway, not in school. She was rich and around the same age as the king of the host club. The two were torn apart at a young age when Alice's mother thought it would be nice to move back to Japan, all of a sudden. She lived there for years until her mother and she moved back to France, and ended up back and forth between the two. They were back in Japan, so she started going to Ouran Academy. The twins were dear friends as well, only Hikaru knew of her illness though. He never even breathed a word to his beloved brother, Kaoru. She couldn't wait to see them again.

Alice was built small. She had shoulder cut blonde hair and pale lavender eyes. She wore the regular uniform. She had arrived late, and was headed to the music room. She didn't want barge in right in the middle of classes.. She was told by some classmate's that there was a club being held there, and she wanted to check it out. Plus, if it was a music room- there was most likely a piano that she could use. When she got there though, no one was in the room... After arguing with herself for five minutes she slowly walked into the room and sat on the bench of a lone piano. She just sat there, starring at the keys as if brain dead. Alice was thinking...

She was born in France with a Japanese mother, and a French father. Her mother had a bigger name than her father, and that was how she ended up in France in the first place. Shaking the thoughts away, she gently traced her fingers over the keys of the piano. Alice looked around before sitting on the bench and letting herself play a familiar melody, one she taught herself while she was in France. Losing herself in the melody, she hadn't realized someone had came into the Club room. The twins recognized the meldoy, but they hadn't known it was their childhood friend. "This room is reserved." They said in union, causing her to pause. She slowly glanced at them, her lavender eyes widening slightly. Her childhood friends from so long ago..and they probably didn't even recognize her.

The twins tilted their heads curiously, then Kaoru stepped forward and gently lifted her chin with a hand, so he could get a good look her her. "Alice?" He asked curiously, and before she knew it, the younger twin hugged her. "We were wondering were you ran off to." He voiced innocently, nuzzling his cheek against hers. The younger twin glanced at his stump of a brother and frowned. "Don't just stand there, say hello." He voiced. Alice giggled as their cheeks touched and she gently returned the hug. "I've missed you both so much." She voiced softly. Hikaru nodded and ran a hand through his red hair, his mind racing. The last time either of them saw her was seven years ago, and being driven off to the airport. "It's been a long time, Alice.." He murmured.

Kaoru took notice of his brother's docile behavior and grinned mischievously. He wrapped his arms around the petite girl and lightly pressed against her, causing the girl to blush. "It seems my dear brother is at a loss, does that mean I can have her all to myself?" He teased. Alice blinked a few times and tried to wiggle free. "Kaoru, let go~" She whined. Hikaru couldn't hide his own rosy cheeks, as he carefully pulled Alice away from his brother and wrapped his own arms around her figure, sticking his tongue out. Kaoru chuckled and draped an arm over Hikaru's shoulder. That was more like it. Unlike most girls, she wasn't just a toy to them. She was the first person they let into their world, and would always mean something more. She just didn't know it yet.

The twins looked at her curiously, and Hikaru spoke up. "When did you get back?" He asked. Alice took a step back and lightly smoothed out her dress. "A couple days ago actually. Our flight landed the night before last, and our stuff arrived at our old house yesterday afternoon. " She explained. The twins rose an eyebrow as she spoke, and glanced at each other briefly, then looked at her. "What of your mum?" They asked in union. Neither of them really liked the woman, and knew she felt the same way about them. Alice lowered her gaze, causing the boys to frown. They knew what that meant, and soon wrapped their arms around her figure once more. "Don't worry about it." Hikaru said. "Yeah, you know you can always come stay with us." Kaoru added. Alice smiled and hugged them, as if her mother would ever allow that.

Soon, the bell sounded indicating classes were over and it was lunch time. Alice sighed. "I missed classes on my first day back. " She said quietly. The twins released her and each took a hand in theirs. "C'mon, we'll take you to the cafeteria." The said, doing just that.

Once school was out, Alice started to pack her things and get ready to leave. She quickly found out she was sharing a class with the twins, and another boy who the twins found entertaining. She did feel a bit jealous, seeing how she could see through the uniform, the student was obviously a girl. Haruhi Fujioka or something. Why she was dressing like a boy, she had no idea..nor did she really want to know. She followed the other students out of the classroom. While Kaoru was preoccupied with their friend, Hikaru followed after Alice, placing a hand on her shoulder when he caught up to her. "Have you ever been to Host Club?" He asked her curiously. Alice blinked and glanced at the older twin. "Host Club?" She voiced. Hikaru grinned mischievously and held a hand out for her. Alice hesitated briefly before lightly taking his hand.

Hikaru led Alice to the third music room, mainly to meet his brother, and not leave her alone. They met up with Kaoru, just as Haruhi opened the door. The younger twin noticed his brother and friend, and caught the door. "Decided to stop by?" He asked curiously. Alice nodded lightly, hiding how nervous she was. The twins lightly took each of her hands and led her inside. It wasn't much without a theme, but they enjoyed the Host Club, and hoped Alice would too. There were four other boys, three standing around a chair where one boy sat, then there was Haruhi as well, standing with the boys. Alice's pale lavender eyes widen when she saw who the boy in the chair was. "Tamaki..." She murmured quietly. The twins glanced at each other briefly, before wrapping an arm around her shoulders, as Tamaki got up from the chair to show their possession over the blonde girl. "Alice! It's been so long, princess!" He greeted with a charming smile, extending a hand to her.

Alice quickly felt her cheeks heating as she noticed how much he had grown, and he was still charming! The boy she fell for back in France, before he left. Seeing the delima, the twins lightly pressed their cheeks against hers, wearing devilish smiles. "We found her first, Tono. She's ours for the day." They stated plainly. Tamaki only smiled as he approached the trio. "Is that what she wants?" He voiced curiously. "Leave them alone, Tamaki. " Haruhi was quick to scorn him for pestering the twins, which sent the king sulking in a corner. Alice tilted her head, only moving when the twins led her to a table so they could spend some time with her.

Alice glanced around as the club ran, each boy seemed to know how swoo girls by either charming them, acting cute, or just talking. Hikaru and Kaoru seemed to be over-dramatically acting on their brotherly love, which only seemed to have grown since the last time she saw them. Tamaki was playing Prince with his guests, which made her blush almost as much as watching the twins, especially when they pulled her into the act. By the end of the club, her cell went off and Alice blinked. She reached into her phone, and the twins watched her as she walked out of the room.

Alice answered her phone, only to hold the phone away from her ear when her mother started yelling. "Calm down, is something wrong?" She asked, hearing her mother sigh.

-I can't come pick you up. You'll have to find a way home, I'm sorry.- The woman voiced, then a click sounded indicating she had hung up. Alice slowly lowered her hand and leaned against the wall. Her mother was doing it to her again.. Choosing her work over her sick daughter. She wasn't even upset over it anymore, or that's what she told herself. She took a minute before returning inside and discreetly told the twins goodbye. They knew something was up, but didn't question her, both hugged her.

Call us if you need us." They murmured before releasing their childhood friend. She then went and said goodbye to Tamaki, then left.
