Chapter 36: Chapter 36: All out war?

While the bats are doing their jobs as plan, they see a group of monsters coming out from the 3rd floor of the dungeon. Without hesitation, they start to retreat leaving a gust of wind behind them.

What the 2 bats saw was shocking. They saw a group of rat-men riding on the back of bats. And rat-men riding on the back of wolves, and bears. But what shocked them the most was the number of monsters behind them.

They saw countless rat-men running on the ground and both sides of the wall. And it's the same for bats. Those bats are flying like a swarm, number into hundreds.

Soon later, the 2 bats arrived at the entrance between the 1st and 2nd floor where the assassin cats lay in ambush. One bat stop to make a certain bat noise to the cats to retreat. And other bats keep flying to relay the same message to the wolves.

All of Soro summons can't talk with each other. But all of them can understand human language due to memory transfer. So before they start the plan, the human summon already gathers everyone up to test out what kind of sound that they can make. Then they come up with a few noises for each animal to communicate with each other. Like a certain bats sound mean "ready for an ambush" or a certain sound means "retreat".

Soon, all Soro summons gather up outside the dungeon. They are ready for a fight. Whatever is coming, they will try to trade life for life and earn their master some experiences.

While everyone is ready to face their enemy, a human summon quietly walks into Soro tent to wake him up. He walks closer to a sleeping Soro and gently shakes Soro a few times to wake him. Soon, Soro starts to open his eye slowly while grumpy out some questions:

"Hmmm...mmm. W..wwhat up?"

"My lord! We are about to get attacked. Please wake up and let move out from here."

Hearing that they are about to get attacked, Soro finally awakened completely.

"Fill me what I missed."

After hearing what his summons said, Soro call over the 2 bats and transfer the 2 memories into the human to verify. And soon his summon start to tell him the situation in detail. The human summon also didn't know the full situation until now. Because he just ran to inform Soro after he sees the bat writing "A group of monsters is coming out" on the ground.

Communication from bats to humans is quite hard. After Soro finally knows what happens, he starts to hear the sound of animals screaming from the outside.

Then he uses [Eye of the master] on a few summonses outside. What he sees shocked him. What his summons told him was under exaggerated about their enemy. What he saw was similar to a scene of a zombie horde from a movie called "World war Z".

At first, he got panicked. But soon he starts to calm back down. Because after he switches to a few more summonses, he sees that they are doing fine. So he turns to the human summon next to him and ask:

"How come they are doing fine against a group of monsters now? And not when they were in the dungeon."

Without delay, his summon replies:

"Inside the dungeon, our objective was to explore and capture new creatures out alive. So we were holding back. But now it's different. Each kill will go straight to you so there is no point in holding back."

Hearing this, Soro got impressed. To think that his summons is so considerate. Indeed like what he said. If they keep killing mindlessly inside the dungeon, he will lose a lot of potential experiences and skill upgrades.

After the exchanges with my assistant, I start to put my attention on the fight between my side and the dungeon side. On my side, the summons is going crazy. Like what they usually perform, my bears are tanky. They charge in like nothing can stop them. For a regular tier1 ratling, if they dare to stand in front of my bear, they will be sent flying.

But when I take a look at my other summons, I start to frown. I see those big bats are killing my other animals. So I decided to intervene by doing some micro-control. I mentally order my 2 bats to fly into the enemy bats and use whatever they have to bring those bats down. Even with the cost of dying.

Soon, my 2 bats successfully brought 2 bats down with them. They start to entangled their enemy on the ground and make sure that they can't fly. Like 2 fighters in a ring that locks hug each other. If one of them doesn't want to separate, the other can't do a thing. All they can do is wait for the referee to come over and separate them.

And so I send them the referee. The wolves that I micro command come over and finish the enemy off. My sneaky action managed to earn me 14 more bats.

While I continue killing the big bats, my nearby assistance calls me to look in a direction. And so I turn to look. What I am seeing, surprises me. I see ratling on the back of bat and it is shooting out greenish liquid out from its mouth at my summons. Once that liquid hits my summons, I can see my summon skin start to melt. So without further delay, I command all my bats to attack those bat-riders.

The fight between the 2 sides continues for a while more. Every second into the fight, my gain starts to increase more and more. Soon, there is a group of bats and ratling of my own in that chaotic battle.

While spamming more summons to join up with the fight, I turn to look at my mana. Due to me only summoning low-duration summons, I still have enough mana to keep this fight continue for a while more. But then, I hear a loud screeching coming out from the dungeon entrance.

With both hands cover my ears, I turn to where those loud sounds coming from. I see a silhouette of a monster with open wings emerges from the dungeon. Soon, a figure of an ugly humanoid rat with bat wings on its back standing majestically before everyone.

Then it starts to flaps its wings and fly forward charging into the battlefield. It swipes left and right at my summon, making them splits into pieces of meat on the ground. After the quick show-off of its claws power, the monster starts to fly up a bit higher and then shoot out some greenish liquid like those ratlings before. Killing many more of my summons.

While looking at that monster in fear, I hear a girl sound coming out from the dungeon.

"Stop wasting both side resources. If you are here to bring back some new blueprint, you already got all that we have. So fuck off!! Or we go to an all-out war."

Looking at the flying little girl. She reminds me of Kiki.
