Chapter 3: Chapter 3; Mingyue, I will give you a ride home....
Gu Ting walked over to her mother's direction and approached her, before intertwining their arms, gently swinging it "Mother, she might be studying back at school!" she coyishly muttered while Gu Tingyi kissed his mother's back of the hand.
"Good evening mother, I will be in my room, I have homework to complete..." After kissing her hand, he walked into the living room but was surprised to see his two brothers.
"Hello my dear brothers, you guys are back?" his pace accelerated while greeting them, his smile shone from ear to ear as he got closer and hugged them.
"Yeah, we are back..." They hugged back as Gu Ting joined them.
"Brothers, you are back?" she also hugged them, but beside them, a man was sitting there quietly watching from the sidelines.
"Yeah, we are back..." They hugged together as they patted their shoulders, they have been separated for four years as they were studying abroad.
"All right, the two of you, go upstairs and freshen up before joining us... Hurry up.." she gently patted their heads and they rushed upstairs to get ready.
"Mother, didn't you say you found your biological daughter?" Gu Tang the firstborn inquired curiously sitting down on the couch while sipping his tea.
"Hump! Who knows where she could have gone? She is always running after men! That's all she is good at.. " she remarked scornfully before walking away, the men on the table frowned.
Why could a young girl go around seducing men? Their mother's attitude puzzled them. Shouldn't she guide her as a parent?

Gu Mingyue was still in the school vicinity inside the washroom.
After crying for a while, she sat up weakly and opened the toilet door before approaching the sink and washing her face.
She splashed water onto it several times trying to mask her pale face that has been crying.
She gazed at the mirror and gently caressed her face, she wiped her face before exiting. She walked back to her classroom and got her school bag.
She exited the classroom before leaving the school compound, she knew better not to look around because they had already left her, they would always do this and she would get punished every time.
Walking through the streets, she kept her head bowed and her mind was occupied with all kinds of terrible things she went through in her past life, she was feeling thirsty and felt like her addiction to drugs was there reminding her of what she had gone through.
Her family sent her to jail after setting her up at the company, she was imprisoned for tax evasion, funds misappropriation, and embezzlement, she was charged with five years in prison, but being in prison, she was targeted by an inmate who she ended up killing thus her jail time increased.
She could feel her thirst for drugs, so she walked ahead and found a small store, she bought a bottle of cold water to quench her thirst and get rid of the feeling.
After having walked for some minutes, she heard someone calling her name from the other opposite side of the street.
"Mingyue, I will give you a ride home, come over here..." She turned around and gazed at the familiar face that was waving at her, this was the only one who was her true friend, who supported her and even died because of her.
She warmly gazed at her, they have always been at odds with each other, but she was a true friend who would always warn her but her being the hotheaded person she was, she never listened to her.
She strode over to the parked car and bent over gazing at her through the window, "Bai Xue, why haven't you gone home yet? It's so late... " Mingyue's voice was rough and coarse as she warmly gazed at her through the open window.
"I was late in class finishing up some work, get inside... I will give you a ride home..." She opened the car door patting the empty space beside her as she moved abit.
She was happy that Mingyue was responding to her, she always approached her but Mingyue would turn her away or give her a cold shoulder.
