Chapter 7: Chapter 7 - January 26th.

MUSUTAFU, JAPAN. SUNDAY, 12:32AM.

The night Izuku returned home, he was met with a silent apartment. Betting he beat Inko home, he teleports directly to his room, not even bothering to use the front door.

Plopping on the bed, Izuku removes the metal mouth cover and throws it on his bed. Sighing, he lays back, closing his eyes. 'Today was successful. Letting that girl live and teleporting her away was smart. It'll give her the chance to spread my existence around like a plague.' He mused, smiling slightly.

Izuku's plan was skewed in a way that he didn't think about. While he was too lost in thought about testing his powers, he failed to realize that he wasn't hiding his face when he entered that room. Meaning whoever survived, now knows what he looks like.

Would it change much? Not that he knows of. Even if it does, and they start trying to paint him as a bad guy and leak his identity out; not only will their reputation plummet, but the public would also be impressed with his abilities.

Of course, there will be bite back, but that's to be expected in a hero-worshipping society full of people pleasers.

Hopping to his feet, he teleports once more, disappearing from his room and appearing in an abandoned warehouse, a few blocks away from where he collapsed a building.

Within this warehouse were rows of varying dumbbells, the further you go along the wall, the heavier they get. Much like the dumbbells, countless stolen Gym machines were organized perfectly to maximize the space he had available.

He took off his shirt, revealing his scarred body. His compact, lean and powerful muscles were well-defined and prominent, but he wasn't satisfied. His body wasn't no where near as strong as he desires it to be. So, without an ounce of thought or hesitation, Izuku got busy.

Putting the max amount of weight each machine could hold, he did various workouts, after every hour, he'd take a break and stretch, making sure his muscles flexibility wouldn't slack either.

This went on for the rest of the night, the thought of Inko catching him being out of the house all night wasn't even an idea in his mind. He was in total focus; Nothing was going to disturb that.

The next morning, he teleported home. Drenched in sweat and shirtless. His face was stoic, as usually, his eyes a shell as his focus was within his own mind, planning, plotting and predicting.

KNOCK KNOCK!

"Izuku? Are you up?" Snapping his fingers, a gust of wind generated around his body and instantly dried his sweaty form. "Yeah, hold on!" He replied, slipping off his dirty clothes and putting on some new ones.

"O-Oh okay. I was just making sure; I just got home and I'm extremely tired. I was just on my way to bed." She informed, Izuku still opened the door and saw that she was halfway to her own room.

Izuku smiled slightly, nodding. "Okay, sleep well." Inko yawned, nodding slowly. "Yeah, love you." Izuku hummed, moving to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

His morning was quiet, simple and straight forward. After he ate, he made his way back to his personal gym. He stayed holed in there for the next passing hours until night fall. From there, he teleported back to his room to meditate.

And just like that, a simple, but surefire method of training that he had planned from the beginning, had come to fruition.

3 MONTHS LATER. JANUARY 26. THE DAY OF UA ENTRANCE EXAM.

Inko bursts into her sons' room, beaming with excitement and a crap ton of anxiousness. "Izuku! Izu- Oh! You're up!" She exclaims loudly, stopping in the doorway seeing Izuku fully dressed in casual streets wear.

Izuku smiles, "Yep. Thanks for coming to wake me up anyway though." Inko nods, "Of course! Anyway, breakfast is ready. After you eat, I'll drive you up to the school." Izuku nods, watching as Inko slowly leaves the room, hidden tears pooling in her eyes.

Izuku sighs, rolling his eyes. 'I really can't get used to that… At least it's bearable now though.' He muses, lamenting over his constant need to feign certain emotions around her. Most specifically, his smiles.

Shrugging off his irritation, he looks at himself in the mirror and appreciates the subtle, but good changes.

The once 5'8 green haired boy now stood at a whopping 6'1, sporting soft, pale skin with slightly sunken cheeks, giving his cheek bones more definition. His jawline had smoothened, sharpening from his once chubby face bubble of fat.

His eyes had uncoincidentally changed a bit too, from their normal big roundness to a sharp, lazy gaze.

'Let's get this over with.' He tells himself. The next moment he joins his mom at the breakfast table. They eat in comfortable silence as Inko watches the news with a horrified face.

"-Much like the incident in Musutafu just a little under a year ago, another supposed villain hideout was struck in the dead of night. Luckily, villain or not, there were no corpses found. B-But there was one death. Jin Bubaigawara, or otherwise known as Twice. A villain that was involved with the multiple fiendish actions the villain group, League of Villains, had been the center of." Izuku tuned out the rest, satisfied with the publicity of it all.

His fork drops on his glass plate, startling his mothers focus from the news castor. "I'm done. You ready?" Inko nods, "Yeah j-just give me a minute. Let me finish this quickly and then we can go, Okay? I have to head into work after I drop you off." Izuku just nods before plopping himself comfortably on the couch in the living room.

It wasn't long till they were on the road, headed to UA for the greatly anticipated entrance exam.
