Chapter 10: Lucky Lucas
Using Gym bro grip on his foot as a foothold, Leo jumped.
Once he reached the perfect height.
He kicked Gym Bro hard on the jaw, sending Gym Bro staggering a few steps back.
'Aargh! This guy is tough!' Leon shouted in his mind with deep frustration.
Although he is not the strongest, Gym Bro is very resilient and also has the highest stamina out of all the gangsters of this gang, making him a tough opponent even for a leveled-up Leon.
But even with that, Leon could still defeat him, Gym bro was just capable of lasting longer than others.
So, after kicking Gym Bro in the jaw, Leon let himself fall.
The instant his four touched the ground, he started sprinting toward Gym Bro.
Gym bro did not just stand there and watch Leon come dangerously close, instead, he moved to his left.
As if predicting his movement, Leo sent a jab straight to Gym Bro's face.
Gym bro was not fast enough to dodge this one, so he ended up receiving it.
But Leon did not stop with just one jab, he continued sending those quick punches non-stop.
One blow, followed by another...
"Aaaargh-!!" Gym Bro grunted in pain while using his arm to shield himself from Leon's quick but powerful punches.
Leon upon seeing that Gym Bro was all focused on defending himself, kicked him hard on one leg, making him lose balance and fall to his knees.
'A chance!'
Seeing that he had finally gotten a chance to finish off Gym Bro, Leon immediately went into action.
But before he could, Lucas and Silver were already close enough to strike him.
Lucas was the first to act, sending a quick stab with his knife at Leo's arm.
Leon was not fast enough to dodge, so the knife pierced his arm giving him a bloody injury.
he is a 'body temperer', but that does not mean that he couldn't get injured by sharp knives, although everything about him is doubled, including his defenses, a sharp knife is still capable of piercing through.
Lucas felt smug as he was the only one in this fight that injured Leon. But he didn't let it get into his head, at least not now that they are still in a fight with Leo.
Meanwhile, Leo grunted in pain, and let the blood flow, dodging Lucas and Silver's next attack while sending a terrifying spinning kick to Gym Bro's neck.
Khueek-!!
This was the last straw that broke the camel's back. That terrifying kick plus neck being Gym Bro's weak point made things result in the fainting of Gym Bro.
For one who is known to be the second strongest, this is very shameful as he is the only one that fainted during this fight.
Seeing that he slumped to the ground, Leon ignored him and faced Lucas and Silver.
As he faced them, Scarlett and Lia went and pulled Gym Bro out of the fighting space before checking up on him to make sure that he is still alive.
Seeing that he is alive, they both sighed in relief, being reduced by one person in their gang is not going to do them any good, especially when the person is the second strongest.
"I never thought the side of his neck is his weak point... Do you think Leon knows this for a long time?" Scarlett said as she studied Gym bro neck.
The place where the kick landed had become a lump and also had a darker shade of red.
Lia shrugged in response, she took a balm and rubbed it in the neck area.
Back at the fight, The former eight versus one has been reduced to two versus one.
The defeated gangsters watches this scene while studying Leon closely with a look of awe on their face.
Drake was the angriest out of everybody watching.
Clenching his fist tightly, he watched Leon dodge Silver and Lucas's attacks simultaneously.
'Why was he the one to get a mutation, I worked hard every single day for this why was it this guy that only knows how to complain of his heart disease, why!? '
Just like everybody else spectating this fight, he had already acknowledged the fact that Leon is the strongest here, but he still cursed his luck.
He started thinking that if he was in Leo's position he could very much do things better.
Gritting his teeth in anger and knowing that he shouldn't waste time spectating the fight and cursing his luck, he walked out of the place.
He started feeling that all his daily training is not enough, he had to train harder! Much harder!
Only by training and getting his own mutation in strength would he be capable of defeating Leon.
Nevertheless, back at the fight, Lucas and Silver could be seen breathing heavily while trying to give Leon another injury with their knives.
But their stamina was at its last, Leon dragged his fight with these two for thirty minutes straight, draining them of all their stamina.
He wanted to finish them quickly before, but at second thought he decided to play them a bit and have some fun, he wanted them to accept defeat of their own free will that's why he let the fight go on for thirty minutes.
Lucas and Silver very much knew that Leon was playing them, but they still continued trying their best.
But in the end it all amount to nothing.
"F*ck this, I give up! Am not getting paid for this sh *t" Lucas said as he slumped down to the ground, dead tired.
"F*ck you, Lucas! Come here and fight! Don't back off like a coward!" Silver shouted infuriated.
"At least i injured him, but look at you, you only know how to dance. Fight don't dance, later you can come let me teach you how I injured him, I am a kungfu master you know?" Lucas replied, feeling smug.
"You only got lucky." Silver said as he attacked Leon again.
"You call kungfu luck?" Lucas replied, giving Silver a mocking grin.
"Fuck you! Shameless Prick!" Silver muttered under his breath.
After this, he raised his hands in surrender,
"I Give up."
