Chapter 1: Death
Countless life forms stood before a demonic being whose figure could be seen, this figure held a demonic sword whose form couldn't be seen thanks to the aura it gave off. it stood there, its might unmatched by those that stood before it.
"Are you really empty inside? You fight because you're seeking something, something that could fill that nothingness." a red-haired woman roared, this woman was known as Risa Morningstar, daughter of Lucifer. A half angel, and half demon, and also the demon lord... and the person who created this demonic thing.
"Something to fill in my nothingness?" for the first time in her life, Risa was shocked. how could she not be when the sword she had used for many years, the sword which gained a will of its own and nearly killed her, the sword which she and everyone were forced to put aside their problems and work together to seal away... that sword, it spoke. although its voice was empty, filled with nothingness, just like its name.
the Sword Of Nothingness, once known simply as the Sword of Demon Lord, its name had changed. It was a sword capable of cutting through anything, a sword capable of turning things into 0, into nothingness. this was all her fault, she had used the strongest enchantment to give this sword the power to nullify all magic, in the end when it gained a will of its own, it took that power and made it its own. the Magic which they called Nothingness Magic,
"Everything as a reason to fight, a reason to go on. you can't be telling me you wish to destroy everything, leaving you never able to find this thing you are searching for." She asked making the sword of nothing, frowning deeply, the sword in its hands slowly disappearing as it thought carefully about her words.
Indeep, it felt empty. so it was doing the only thing it knew slaughter. it wanted to find something that could fill that empty part of it. but it was clueless, what could be that missing key?
"You too on the image of a demon, but you didn't take on our mindset. we demons don't fight for the sake of battle... we fight because we had a dream, since our creations we have been looked down upon because we didn't have a soul. soulless monsters created by my father to fight against the heavenly realms. we fight to be viewed as more than simple monsters, we are living beings with dreams, wishes, and hopes." She said softly while flying over to the Sword Of Nothingness, which looked at its former wielder in confusion
"... I don't have a dream, wishes, or hopes." It said softly, to which took a deep breath before she spoke
"the fact you fight to fill that emptiness up is a sign that you have a dream, you wish to find it, therefore there is hope." She said with a soft smile. the sword of Nothingness was quiet for some time, before its aura disappeared, allowing her to its face, which was a near-perfect reflection of hers. she smiled slightly, seeing that the sword took on her image
"you and I... I will help you find this thing you look for." She said softly, to which the sword of nothingness emotionless, looked at the hand she held out. for the first time, confusion filled the sword's eyes, not understanding what she wanted. did she want it to take on the form of a sword?
"It is called a handshake, its own two parties shake each other hands. it symbolizes two parties coming to an agreement." She said softly, to which the sword of nothingness nodded in slight understanding, before taking her hand. but the handshake didn't last long before a spear stabbed through both the demon lord and the sword of Nothingness,
there was only one spear in this world that could do such a thing, and that was none other than Odin Spear. a spear that skips points in time and space, once thrown, it ignores the skips the moment of travel, and the moment it pierces through a target, allowing this spear to instantly pierce anyone and anything.
everyone was in shock at this, they all looked towards Odin, who had his eye path removed, looking coldly at the demon lord and the sword of nothingness with its two eyes, one a normal eye, and the other a glowing gold eye.
"The sword Of Nothingness has been using its Magic to nullify its destruction. with it having a hint of emotion, its power has dropped. just a hint of it dropped its power by a whole 90%. take this time to destroy this sword and its creator." Odin said coldly, causing not just the other gods, but the elves, Celestials, and so on, they all shocked.
"... Odin," Risa said through gritted teeth as she pulled the spear out of herself and the Sword Of Nothingness. She glared at him, before looking back at the Sword of Nothing which was looking at the hole in its chest, a confused look in its eyes. it had seemed others bleed... but it never bled no matter the injury.
"... I don't like this." the sword of nothingness said softly, it hurt. the sense of pain was new to it, it didn't like it at all.
"..." Risa didn't know what to say, looking at the confused look which was turning into fear, worry, and unease, she realized that in this one moment, the sword of Nothingness was growing weaker and weaker, the more feelings I experienced, the more its strength dropped.
"Run, you are just now living. I will hold them off for you." She said softly, while she used requip magic to change into her demon lord armor, and in her hands, two swords appeared, while black and white wings appeared behind her.
"finding what you wish to find in life is going to be scary, you would want nothing more than to run away at times. but you have to be strong, for the sake of your dreams, you have to fight. if you don't fight, then all hope is gone." Risa said softly, causing the sword of Nothingness to look at her, in shock.
"... I'm scared?" the sword of nothingness mumbled in shock, in the past others ran from it in fear... and now it was scared. scared to fight, Risa didn't have time to say anything as she shot forward to fight the gods, and those who they managed to get to help them. Of course, the demon wouldn't stand aside and watch as their demon lord fought all alone, so a battle broke out
the sword of Nothingness watched, these new emotions and feelings, overwhelming him, how could a sword like itself understand what to do at this moment? since when did swords understand such things?
but as it watched its creator, Risa fighting a losing battle, overwhelmed by the many gods, and other races, the sword of nothingness grew enraged. memories of this woman who created it flashed across its mind. from its birth, their first battle, the fight they spent together, the days they spent together. It was with her for years, before a will grew... and now even after almost killing her, this woman was fighting for it.
Without saying anything, the Sword Of Nothingness began running, before it jumped up, its body transforming into a demonic-looking sword, which shot forward. Risa who was pulling out a sword from her stomach, while jumping back to avoid more attacks suddenly noticed the Sword Of Nothing. She was shocked, but quickly took hold of the sword.
"I told you to run." She said softly, to which the sword answered
"I... I want to be like you." It said, stunning Risa for a moment before she gave the sword a bitter smile
"you might die." She said softly, to which the sword said nothing. the sense of pain scared it, but this death thing, it had no idea of. it would follow its Weidler to its death, sensing this, Risa smiled slightly, before shooting forward.
the sword of nothingness was never met to take on a demon form, its true form was a sword, a sword which was created to be wielded by Risa. sure the sword was weakened, but it was far stronger than if it were to be in its demon form. with the sword of this sword, Risa slaughtered the gods starting with those Gods under Odin
that day, the big dogs of this world were slaughtered. be it the gods, celestial spirits, elves, fairies, the demons slaughter many of them. but they too suffered huge damage, that die, they lost the demon lord, who died wielding the sword of nothingness which was destroyed in battle...
"... Risa, is this death?" the emotionless voice of the sword of Nothingness sounded, all it could see was darkness... until a red-haired woman appeared, hugging it.
"for me... yes, but for you... it's too early. I will have you reincarnate. find something meaningful in life. a reason to live," She said softly, to which the sword of nothing looked at her in shock. it was then it remembered the strange spell she cast on it, was it that? she had projected its soul, allowing it to reincarnate? it quickly figured it out and tried to see if it could cast the spell on her as well.
"you can't cast magic in the state you're in... you special, you birthed a soul. I can't reincarnate, I was born with half a soul. I will use it all to ensure your future is bright." She said with a soft smile, to which the sword of nothingness panicked. it was a sword, and this woman was its wielder,
just as Risa was about to fully disappear, a soul came flying out of nowhere, slamming into the sword of the sword of nothingness, causing Risa's spell to reflect onto her. Risa was shocked, but before she could make heads or tails of what just happened, they were pulled away to reincarnate
