Despite the fact that Heather did everything to irritate Maya, she still looked for a proper charity to send the dresses to.
As she did her research, the name Raphael Gibson popped up.
She remembered this doctor's name.
Raphael Gibson, a 50-year-old heart surgeon who owns a big hospital that has a lot of connections outside the country. It was also said that he owns a few hospitals in foreign countries such as America and around Europe.
He was one of those billionaires around the world, not simply the country.
And he also has some orphanages and charities. Once again not just in the country but around the world.
People calls him angel just like his name while others see him as a saint.
He was also investing on the project 'Ghost Heart', that was pioneered by Doris Taylor of Texas Heart Institute.
The ghost heart project uses animal hearts that are stripped of their original cells and injected with stem cells that create a personalized heart.
It was said that he chanced upon this project when he had a seminar in Texas and he had taken interest wanting to help save more lives once it becomes successful.
As of this moment, this ghost heart has only been done on animal hearts.
Heather could not remember if anything about this project was latter on placed on news because she only chanced upon it when she met doctor Raphael as she was discharged of the hospital before she was killed by mister Truck.
Thinking about all of his charitable works, she chose the closest one in here before taking note of the address and other things.
Obviously, she won't be sending the list of what she will be giving.
Maya can do whatever she wants.
But with how Heather exposed her thoughts and how Amelia was still reprimanding her, Heather knew Maya would just send it to the charity without doing anything.
But obviously her grudge against Heather would increase.
'Oh well, I just need to keep my guard up against this person in the future.'
Though she never planned on letting her guard down when it comes to Amanda's people.
After she was done with everything, she started getting ready to go out and this time, she was planning on stepping out to buy some books.
There is something she wanted to start studying.
She started studying it in her first life when she heard of the project and since she wanted to help but, in the end, it went to waste. She didn't get the chance to use it.
This time she still has about a year and a half of preparation and she wanted to be fully prepared about it.
She was not meeting anyone else and so she was not scared whether Amanda had her followed or not.
She will just be off to the bookstore and back home.
Stepping down from her car, she already felt the watchful gazes on her.
Not just of the curious look from the people who still loves to gossip but even the look from those sent to watch her and see what she was truly doing.
She went straight to the biology subjects on the bookstore having in my mind what she wanted to buy.
She had already bought a few other books online but it will arrive by next week, she felt that she must not waste any more time.
This is the only matter in this life that she didn't want to have any time wasted.
Because her complete downfall started on this matter alone.
The day the other two reconnected with one another, it is not the day that they reunited but it is the time they reconnected, which lead to her being all alone.
Having no more chances of fighting.
"Look whose here."
She didn't turn when someone spoke near her.
"Are you deaf? I am talking to you."
She still didn't turn.
"YOU!!"
Heather remained looking at the books.
"How dare you ignore me?!?!"
This time, her shoulder was pulled to make her turn.
She raised an eyebrow at the lady in front of her.
She has black hair and dark brown eyes.
'Yes, she seems to be human,' Heather thought.
But her face looked so distorted that Heather had to blink twice to see whether she really is human.
No, the one in front of her does not have a scar or any ugliness, she was simply looking at Heather darkly.
Her face was contorted of anger and not of other meaning of ugliness.
"How dare you ignore me!!!" she repeated.
Heather tilted her head to the side and looked at this person innocently.
"You were talking to me?" she asked.
"Yes I am. How dare you ignore me!!!"
"Oh, I see."
After that dull reaction, she returned her look to the books and started choosing again.
The woman gritted her teeth in agitation before she reached out to grab Heather's shoulder once again but Heather didn't allow her this time, as she moved one step away.
"If you have something to say then just speak. You didn't give me any reason why you suddenly spoke to me. You didn't even speak of a name, how would I know that you were talking to me?"
Heather spoked as she took down a book by a person named Jeanne Guillemin entitled 'Biological Weapons'.
Most of the books she bought online were subjects and deeper understanding regarding biological matters.
But in this one, Jeanne Guillemin provides a highly accessible and compelling account of the circumstances under which scientists, soldiers, and statesmen were able to mobilize resources for extensive biological weapons programs and also analyzes why such weapons, targeted against civilians, were never used in a major conflict.
Heather decided to buy this, before looking up again.
"It was obvious that I was talking to you," the woman argued.
"Yeah, yeah. And? What do you want?" her reply lacked enthusiasm that the woman beside her was even angrier.
Heather sighed, this person was Amanda's relative, though not connected to her by blood because this person was the daughter of the sibling of the spouse of one of her siblings.
Heather had forgotten who sibling was that and she felt like it was an unnecessary information.
She even forgot the name of this person, just that she remembered that this person had been riding on the coattails of the Porter Family just because her connection with them was pretty close.
"You… Have you forgotten that I am Kayla Brown? Aunt Amanda's favorite niece? How dare you act this way towards me?"
Enlightenment appeared on Heather's face.
"That's right, you were called Kayla."
She finally looked at this person.
Kayla smiled smugly after seeing her finally recognize her.
She thinks that Heather will start talking to her with more respect while ingratiating herself towards her.
"But I heard so many people call themselves my mother-in-law's favorite niece or nephew, shouldn't it be one of the favorites, now in your case?"
The smug smile instantly turned into a frown when she heard what Heather said next.
"Or should I say that all of you introduces yourselves as her favorite, then does that mean MOTHER never had a favorite in the end?"
She emphasized the word mother.
For she had remembered that Kayla Brown was one of those who was willing to throw themselves at Cyrus once he divorces Heather. Too bad, even the Brown Family who owns a few schools was not up to standard for Amanda.
Especially since they only rose due to the connection with the Porter Family.
Kayla's breathing turned labored due to her labored breathing because of anger. But she was able to calm herself down.
Then a mocking smile appeared on her lips.
"You can act like the daughter-in-law now but the whole country knew that Cyrus hated you so much that he barely goes home. I bet you only slept with one another once, you know that night where you tricked him into sleeping with him. So much for planning to tricking him to marry you. If aunt Amanda was not a righteous person, then you will surely not get the chance to marry him. No wonder you ingratiate yourself towards her."
Heather smiled, "Yeah that is indeed right. But at the very least I got the chance, how about you? Even if you appear in front of him completely naked, surely he would throw hot coffee towards you instead of wanting you."
"We are close!!!" she retorted.
Heather looked at her with mock before scoffing, "Close? Hmmm, I wonder. Does he even remember your name? I, who met you a few times, didn't even remember your name. I bet, he does not even recognize your face. Be happy I actually had, that is more than enough honor for you, miss Brown."
Kayla raised her hand ready to give Heather a slap, she was so mad, she wouldn't calm down unless she hit this person.
*SLAP*
Her eyes widened when Heather actually slapped her hand that was descending down her face before Heather raised her own hand and gave her a tight slap.
Once again Heather scoffed seeing that she was feeling wronged.
"You people seriously think of yourselves as having royal blood, don't you? You can raise your hand to hit others and that is just fine. But if it was those whom you think as lowly raise their hands and hit you, then you were wronged. Ready even to call the police."
*TSK TSK TSK*
Heather shook her head clicking her tongue a few times as she hugged the three books she had chosen in the entirety of this conversation with Kayla.
"You really should look at yourself better, all of us are human, we all can think and we all can do things others can't. You can be at the top now but that doesn't mean you will remain there forever. Especially…"
Heather squinted her eyes before moving her face close to Kayla's shock face.
"Since you only have air in that head of yours just like that fake chest of yours. I look forward to your bleak future."
With a nod of her head, a smile of encouragement and a pat on Kayla's shoulder, Heather left her standing dumbfounded.
Those few onlookers snickered.
It was obvious she approached Heather to embarrass her but, in the end, she was the one who was embarrassed without allowing her to retort.
Some who had been following the news on Heather Relish saw her in a different light on this day.
