Chapter 80: Chapter 80 - Shopping
We arrived at the canteen, and looked for a place to sit in. A minute passed, and we found a table that was open.
Ruby ran towards the empty table, and took a seat quickly. She then immediately rang the bell while me and Emerald just followed her from behind.
Three people came out, and served us our meals. The food tonight was fried chicken and rice while our drinks are lemonades that has honey mixed in.
I took a slice of the chicken, and saw that the fried chicken has bacon and spinach stuffed inside.
I took a bite, and my mood instantly brighten. It was delicious making me eat it slowly to savor the taste longer.
"Hmmm, this is so delicious. I'll make sure to marry a man who can cook when I grow older." Ruby said while chewing her food.
I looked at her, and saw Emerald being annoyed by her sister. Ruby was currently chewing loudly, I was not bothered by it but Emerald clearly is.
Emerald stopped eating, and then smacked Ruby's mouth when she had the opportunity.
"Wha..." Ruby was stunned but continued chewing as if that short event was normal. I didn't bother interrupting them, and instead focused on savoring the taste that the meal gives.
We finished eating after a couple of minutes, and Ruby was currently burping then Emerald smacked her again after she finished burping.
"Ugh." Ruby painfully groaned while caressing the spot that Emerald smacked.
"Anyways, we'll be taking our leave for now Ave. Let's meet up again tomorrow." Ruby said while standing up, Emerald followed her actions; and soon they both left me.
I was about to stand up after resting for a couple of minutes but smoked suddenly appeared in front of me. Rose came out of it. I was surprised by a little but recovered quickly. I was already getting used to this occurrences.
"Brat, come with me. I'll be giving your rewards from the mission." Rose said, and then started to walk away.
I quickly followed her while keeping quiet. It was clear that Rose doesn't want to talk. Rose looks like she hasn't slept for the day. The eyebags under her eyes are so black. She must be really worried for Jan's safety.
We continued walking until we arrived at the first floor. Rose then went to the front office again, and then she started to look for something. I patiently waited for the rewards while looking around.
"Here it is." Rose said while passing me a small envelope.
"And your contribution points is already given." She continues. I nodded and looked inside the envelope.
It has the 50 purple banknotes inside making me excited on what I should buy next.
"You can go now, and take your rest brat." Rose said, and then left me immediately.
I was not even able to say 'thank you' before she left. I walked back upstairs, and went back to my room to take the rest for the day.

I woke early today, and started to make preparations for the day. I took a quick shower, and then ate my breakfast at the canteen. I looked at the time, and it was only 8 in the morning.
I still have plenty of time before my training with the twins starts. I should use this time to buy some items that I will be needing, and buy a new gauntlet to use if I have the opportunity.
'Remember that you want to buy an item that has a space storage, and even the energy tablets before so you should first buy those.' Akira interrupted my thoughts.
'Thanks for the reminder. I noticed that you're starting to get useful Akira as time goes by.' I said teasingly.
'Hmph, while you on the other hand starts to get useless as time goes by.' Akira teased back.
'Whatever.' I replied and ended our conversation there.
I walked out of the guild, and started to look for the things I need to buy. I asked around, and found that items with storage space are found in the George's Magic Items Shop.
I arrived at the place after a couple of minutes. I went inside and looked around the room while a middle-aged man was walking towards me.
"Hello sir! What item are you looking for?" The man said.
"I'm looking for an item that has a storage space." I answered.
"How big is the storage space do you need, sir?" He asked.
"I don't care about the size but instead I want the cheapest one." I answered. I really don't need a storage space because I already have one by using my Space Magic. The item was just supposed to help conceal my Space Magic when I want to use the storage space.
"Hmm, the cheapest that we have is priced at 6 purple banknotes, sir. It's a plain silver ring sir that has 3×3 cubic meter size. Do you wish to take it?" He asked politely while showing me the ring. It was a simple ring with no designs.
"I'll take it." I answered while taking out the exact amount I needed to pay.
"Do you want me to put it in a small paper bag, sir?" He asked after I completed my payment.
"No need." I said while taking the ring. I wore it beside Blite.
"Where can I buy energy tablets?" I asked before leaving the shop.
"The energy tablets can only be found from Rem's Alchemy Shop. It's placed in front of our shop sir." He answered.
I said my thanks, and then left the shop. I looked for the Rem's Alchemy Shop and saw that it was indeed just in front of the George's Magic Items Shop.
I walked towards it, and arrived after a couple of seconds. I looked around the shop, and was expecting to see bottles of potions around since that was how I imagined the shop would have.
The place was instead full of jars, and inside the jars are full of tablets that have different colors. The jars have names on it that says, Mana Tablet, Health Tablet, Rage Tablet, Speed Tablet, Stone Tablet, and more. Soon a young girl came towards me.
"Hello brother, what items are you looking for?" The kid said cutely.
"I'm looking for Energy Tablets, do you have any?" I asked.
"We have brother, please follow me." She answered while going to a jar that has the familiar tablets that Jan gave me.
"How much is it?" I asked.
"It's only 2 red banknotes per tablet but for the whole jar it is only priced as 1 purple banknotes, and it has 100 tablets inside." The girl said.
"Alright, I'll be taking 2 jars of that. Also how much are the Mana Tablets and Health Tablets?" I asked.
"The price varies brother because each type of tablets has different grade unlike Energy Tablets. If you choose the low grade then it's priced as 2 purple banknotes per jars. While the mid grade is priced at 5 purple banknotes per jar. Lastly, the high grade is priced at 10 purple banknotes per jar." The girl said while moving towards the Mana Tablets and Health Tablets.
"What's the difference between the three?" I asked.
"The low grade can regain your Mana or Health by 30%. The mid grade can regain 50% while the high grade can regain 70%. A friendly reminder, you can only take a single tablet per five minutes. If you do take more than one before five minutes, you might have a backlash brother." The girl said.
"I'll take one mid grade jar per each." I said after careful considerations. I can't use all my money up since I still need to buy new gauntlets for me to use.
"Do you have anymore items you wish to buy brother?" She asked.
"None." I answered.
"Okay, please wait me while I prepare your items brother." She said while leaving me behind.
I waited for a few minutes, and soon saw the girl coming here with a paper bag.
"It's 12 purple banknotes brother." She said while passing me the paper bag. I gave it to her, and left me with only 32 purple banknotes from the 50 purple banknotes.
"Do you know where I can buy weapons from here?" I asked before leaving.
"I think you need to go right from here to see the weapon shops brother but I'll recommend you going to my older sister's shop called Quinn's Weapon Shop." The girl said.
"Thank you." I said, and then left after I stored the jars inside my storage space. The girl waved at me while I was leaving.
I looked at the time, and it was already 11 after I finished buying with those two shops. I need to move quickly since I still need to eat lunch, and I have a training with the twins at 2 in the afternoon.
I walked fast, and arrived at the Quinn's Weapon Shop the little girl said after a few minutes.
