Chapter 6: Power Gained
Coming up with my human form is actually harder than I thought but not that difficult as I had previously thought about what I wanted in a human body. My human body has the appearance of a human male but without the reproductive organ and the anus.
The looks of my human self are as follows: long dark brown hair with black mixed in that goes to the center of my back, brown eyes, handsome face, pointy teeth to the point you can tell they are pointed, a long tongue to be creepy, a lean body, and some retractable claws as well. I thought it was a great form honestly, though I'll probably have to disguise my teeth and tongue in the future however for now it's not necessary.
After shifting into my human self I take a step and it feels odd to say the last. The reason is most forms I have taken have all had fours legs or in my true forms case no legs at all. I mentioned before that I automatically know how to use my forms but they can still feel odd.
I know what my human form looks like because I designed it beforehand. As I begin moving once more I hear something.

I'd only gained two skills in millions of years but my physical abilities were thousands of times stronger than when I first arrived as I could feel that. If I fought myself when I first arrived I wouldn't even break a sweat in the battle with my physical abilities alone. Focusing on viewing the description of my new skills, I see them.
Adaption: The more the user is exposed to something that harms the host they will develop an immunity to it.
Telekinesis: The ability to move objects with the mind.
They may only be two skills but these are very useful. For example, with adaption I could expose myself to fire and develop an immunity to it, I could even become able to breathe in space. With telekinesis well, I could possibly even fly without shapeshifting into something with wings.
Of course, I wanted to try out my new abilities immediately, first I wanted to try out telekinesis and then start gaining immunity to fire. I start by focusing on a nearby tree, that I try and fail to pull out of the ground. It would seem that my telekinesis has a weight limit, but hopefully, as I level it up I can lift heavier things and more than one thing too.
Moving on from that I begin to start building a fire but I use my telekinesis to move around the objects to make it. As soon as the fire is lit, no I'm not going to jump into it, but I'm going to hold my hand over it instead and I didn't notice this before but it's actually pretty cold here. I suppose I was just excited and didn't notice it before but it's freezing so I'm glad I made the fire.
I'm hoping that with the cold, and the fact that I'm about to hold my hand over a fire that I'll become immune to the cold, pain, and heat too. Though I don't know how long I have to expose myself to something to become immune to it because personally, I don't want to spend the next five hundred years standing in fire to become immune to it.
I wouldn't do that though even if I had to as it would hurt and kill me. I slowly put my hand over the fire and as soon as I do it feels like my very bone is being burned so I quickly pulled away. The pain causes me to scream and I get a full view of my hand and it was gone, not even the bone was left. It started healing as soon as I took it out of the fire though and in three seconds it was completely healed.
It was quite a gross process that I didn't wanna look at. If that is what fire does to me then it is indeed a major weakness. I hadn't expected it to do that however considering it's one of the only things that can kill me it makes sense. With my weakness to fire being that bad, I need to become immune to it as soon as possible.
Being close to the ocean at the moment seems to be a very good thing, so I put my finger over the fire this time instead of my hand. Something strange happens when I do however because it didn't burn my finger off immediately but did after two seconds. Having a theory on this I put my hand back over the fire as soon as my finger is healed, and it burns off just as quickly as before.
I grit my teeth through the pain but I end up screaming and pull my hand back once more. My theory is correct it would seem, my theory was that the more of my body is exposed to fire the quicker it burns. Unfortunately, my theory was right because I had hoped I was gaining immunity quickly but no and decided not to do that again so soon.
I will eventually gain immunity to it but slowly as I don't want to keep going through that amount of pain over and over again. Also, the reason why I didn't put out the fire was that it's freezing. Knowing it's cold I need some clothes and for that, I need to kill an animal for fur hide. I would make a torch as it's currently nighttime and freezing, but I don't know how to build a torch.
I could go out because my immortality would keep me from freezing to death but I would still feel the cold and it would be uncomfortable. I could train my telekinesis but I currently just want clothes so I get close to the fire, not too close that I would catch on fire but close enough and I shut my eyes and rest for the next day.
