Chapter 44: Body Design Part 2
"Mmm… If you really want to help out, sure. I can take on some extra jobs, and the two of us can make a decent profit." Lilly did not reject Eve's offer. She knew Eve wanted to help out in some way.
Eve smiled inwardly. She felt a lot better knowing she could at least help out with some of the finances, especially after Lilly had spent so much on her already. Eve sat down next to the tub and leaned her head against it. "I really need to thank you for all your help."
Lilly smiled as she reached over the edge of the bathtub and patted the top of Eve's head, even though she knew Eve would not feel it... "I need to thank you as well. I have already learned a lot, and you have only been here for about a day. Eve, I hope we can stay together for as long as possible. Even if you are found out, I will roam the desolate lands with you and Tezz. Although that may be hard as I am human."
"Well, if I do get found out, we will either die or be kicked out of the city. But I plan not to allow any of that to happen. Before I can leave this place, I will need to first, at the minimum, redesign my head. And before I can venture out of the city again, I will need to make a device to mask what I am. " Eve said as she stood up. She walked over to the work table that had paper on it and sat down on the stool. Behind her, Lilly watched curiously, wondering what Eve was going to draw. She got up out of the bath and wrapped a towel around herself and her head before walking over as well.
Lilly dried herself off as she stood off to the side. She was just about to wrap the towel around herself again when Eve reached out and stopped her. "Let me see."
"Hu-Huh!?" Lilly was confused. Her whole face turned beat red. But she still listened to Eve.
"I need a model for the chest and lower area… And to be honest, you're very cute. You could say you have a lot of sex appeal." Eve explained. But her words only embarrassed Lilly even more. But she still stood there, allowing Eve to look her over and draw out her body. Eve really did think Lilly was cute. She had the kind of body she imagined for herself, so it was a perfect model of what she wanted to create.
"Eve, if you make the girl stand there any longer like this, she will end up catching a cold." Aiu gave a reminder. This brought Eve out of her daze. She was concentrating on the fine details as much as possible to make sure what she made looked perfectly human.
"Ah! Sorry. Lilly, hurry and get dressed." Eve began to feel bad. This was just how she was. Once she started doing something, she would become engrossed in it. The poor girl had been standing there naked for fifteen minutes.
"It-It's fine." Lilly's was not all that cold. But the whole thing was quite embarrassing for her. Even though Eve was an A.I., Lilly still felt self-conscious. Eve's earlier words were still ringing in her ears. She quickly put on some underwear and a long hoodie before returning to Eve's side. When she looked at Eve's drawing, she was surprised at how well done it was. She had drawn diagrams with measurements for each side of the body. But thinking of how this drawing was of her body made her blush once again.
"Now… If I add in the legs like so…. Keep the arms human looking… as for the head…" Eve could remember clearly the head she made for Aiu. It was blonde haired with two metal protrusions coming out of the head to give a bit of extra sensory and a unique style. "Mm… just like this. The only issue is the insides…"
"Insides?" Lilly asked.
"Well, I need to make the entire thing one hundred percent anatomically correct. Which means I will need both lower orifices. But I am not sure how I will be able to make them… I will need to look at some pictures online to see what they look like inside, but from there, it's all about the right material, I guess… Ahhh!" Eve scratched the good side of her head. "I will just deal with it when the time comes. First, we will do the head. This drawing is good enough to get an idea of how much of everything I will need."
"Why are you going into so much detail?" Lilly asked. She was very curious about this. She did not understand why Eve wanted her body to be so human like.
"It's because I want to be as careful as possible. If something happened for any reason, I would have the right goods to not be suspected as an A.I. I don't want to risk getting you in any trouble, and I sure as hell do not want anyone shooting at me any time soon." This was the truth. Eve really did not wish to stir up any trouble. She just wanted to gain her shop points while living a nice quiet immortal life as a robot.
"I see. Well, if there is anything you need my help with, even if you need to inspect… My … Ummm… You know… to create yours… just let me know…" Lilly's voice started to grow quiet the more she spoke. Her ears and cheeks were burning hot.
Eve scratched the good side of her head. It seems she went a bit too far with her willful ways. "Thanks. I will look online first. I shouldn't have had you stand there like that. Sorry."
"It's fine. While embarrassing, I do not mind." Lilly tried to play it off as if it was nothing but her reddening face was a dead giveaway, making Eve feel even worse than before.
Waving her hand, Eve changed the subject. "Do you have a 3D printer?"
"I do, but it can only be used for small things." Lilly did not use it much, and the only reason she bought it was to create the parts for Tezz's body.
"Then I guess I will need to print it all out in parts…. Anyway, I will get started on the basic frame first."
