Ye Xingchen frowned as he looked at the series of messages sent by Chen Rou'er. He felt frustrated.

Lin Sijia was halfway through her meal when she saw Ye Xingchen stop eating. She put down her chopsticks and looked at Ye Xingchen's tightly furrowed brows nervously.

"How... What's wrong? Is the food not to your liking?"

"No, come here and sit beside me."

Ye Xingchen casually pulled out a chair beside him and gestured for Lin Sijia to sit beside him. Then, he stood up and grabbed Lin Sijia's bowl and chopsticks and placed them beside him.

"Continue eating."

"Alright." Lin Sijia lowered her eyes and obediently sat beside Ye Xingchen and began to eat again.

"You keep cooing, are you a hen? Are you ready to lay eggs?"
