"Chief we found a second bomb." I hear Mills say over the radio.
I look around and see Boden and I jog to him.
Boden looks to another high ranking chief on scene and asks.
"Steve, when's that bomb squad gonna get here?"
"Ten minutes." Steve answers.
Boden looks at me and I nod my head.
"We're on our way." Boden says into the radio.
As we begin jogging toward the garage I hear everyone still yelling for Gabby.
"Boden wait." I yell.
I point at the man who ran to us when we got here and ask.
"What's his name?"
"Casey." he responds.
"Casey!" I yell.
He looks over and jogs to us.
"Y-Yeah?" he asks.
"Do you have anything of Gabbie's?" he thinks for a second then pulls a Beanie out from his pocket.
I grab it from his hand then get on one knee and put the beanie in Ghost's face, as soon as I do he gets a lock on her scent and starts to lead me in a direction I undo his leash and he takes off into the pile of rubble.
"Listen, he will bark when he finds her."
"Thank you."
I turn around Boden and I start running to the Garage.
3 minutes later.
We get in the garage and see Mills, Cruz and Blitz.
"Where is it?" I ask.
Mills points to a tan car in front of him, Boden and I both look inside and see enough explosives to take out the whole hospital.
I lookup and say.
"The first one was a distraction, this one will be bigger and a lot worse."
"Can you do it?" Boden asks.
I look back at the homemade bomb and start to way the possibilities in my head, after a couple of seconds I look back at Boden and say.
"Yes sir." I then look at Cruz and say.
"I need a center punch," I say and he quickly hands it to me.
I place the head of the center punch on the window, we all grit out our teeth hoping that the window breaking won't set the bomb off.
I take a deep breath.
"3. 2. 1."
*Glass shattering sound*
Nothing happened so I slowly start to open the drivers side door, after I open the door I start getting in the car but then my butt barely touches the steering wheel.
*HORRRRRNNNNN sound*
"Fuck me!" I exclaimed.
*beep beep beep*
After I clear my head I look at the bomb then back at the people that I will soon call my family.
"I'm gonna ask you guys to leave the area." before I could say anything else they said.
"Forget it." Mills said.
"Not a chance." Cruz responded.
I look at Boden hoping he would listen.
"You heard them."
I grit my teeth and turn over so that I am on the center console looking over the bomb.
I start to fiddle around with the bomb just so I can get some sort of familiarity with it.
"Should you be messing with it like that?" Mills asks.
I chuckle inwardly.
I start to pull certain wires out of the bomb, each wire I touch or pull makes them flinch. I can feel the sweat dripping down my face.
"Back in Iraq when I was deployed, everywhere you would step had the possibility of being a landmine."
"When you would open them up you could never know what the right wire to pull was because they would stuff a whole bunch of wires on top of the right one." I say pulling another wire off.
"How did you figure it out?" Cruz was the one to ask this time.
"It can be tricky but every bomb only has space for one port or the circuit will overflow and the bomb will blow up instantly when they make them."
"So when your looking at a bomb trace all the wires." I take a deep breath and slowly pull the last wire out.
"one-By-one" I slowly say.
*silence*
The numbers on the bomb are gone I get out of the car and wipe the sweat that was rolling down my face.
I feel someone pat me on the back and I turn around a see Boden.
"Good job."
(if you ever get stuck with a bomb please don't look back at this moment and be like yea ill just do that. I have zero clue about what I'm talking about.)
*KSSSH*
"Boden we found Gabby."
Casey POV.
It's been a couple of minutes since Ghost started looking for Gabby. I am helping other people who I can see now hoping and waiting to hear that bark.
A couple of minutes later.
*Bark*
I hear something but it's very faint almost to the point of I can't hear it.
I look around and start to yell at the firefighters around me.
"HEY EVERYONE BE QUITE." everyone quickly gets quiet and the moment they do we all hear the same thing.
*BARK BARK BARK*
We all look to our left and someone shouts.
"Right here under me."
We quickly get to work digging where he was at.
After a couple of minutes info digging we get to an open area and see Ghost laying on top of Gabby.
"Boden we found Gabby."
Colt POV.
Once we heard they found Gabby Boden and I quickly went back to the front of the hospital when we got there I saw what looked to be 2 police officers talking some individuals just from looking at them I could tell something was off, call it a 6th sense but I could see one was shaking and looking around and one was very fidgety while the one who looked to be in charge was sweating.
I start to walk closer, I can feel ghost behind me so I whistle and he starts circle behind the three men with out them noticing.
One of the officers looks away and at that moment one of the men pull a gun out of a holster on his side.
But before he could do anything Ghost was already on top of him biting into his arm, as soon as Ghost bit down all you could hear was *CRUNCH*
You see Ghost has titanium teeth.
The officer turns around and sees Ghost on top of the man.
As Ghost bit down the man dropped his gun and I pick it up.
Let me see your hands I say pointing to the other two people, they both quickly put their hands up.
The officer finally notices he almost got shot.
He looks me up and down then looks at Ghost who still is Biting the man.
"The names Voight," he says extending his hand.
I shake his hand and call Ghost off.
"Colt."
Wanting to get back to save more people I start dismantling the gun and make sure no bullets are chambered I then hand the dismantled gun to Voight then walk off.
Before I got far enough I heard him ask.
"Looking for a job?" Voight asks.
I look at 51 and see most of them looking back at me.
"Not anymore." I say smiling.
