Chapter 4: Chapter 2
I woke up in the morning and asked my new dad if I could learn cooking from him.
He said I needed to be at least 3 or 4 years old before I could set foot in the kitchen.
I said that I knew and that what I now needed was information, techniques and lessons.
He said I needed my mom for that, because she knows more about that stuff.
And so I walked up to my mom and asked her if I could get lessons from her about cooking information and techniques.
she said yes and so 2 years passed.
-Time skip 2 years-
Today is my 4th birthday and the first day I can finally cook something myself in the kitchen instead of just listening to my moms lessons, they were really good the lessons, especially when she said she and dad graduated from Totsuki and that they were the 9th (mom) and 10th (dad) seat in the elite 10.
When I asked what the elite 10 was my mom looked at me and said that she will tell me when I can make a dish that could satisfy her.
Now I am here in the kitchen trying to make a dish that could satisfy her.
Once I was done I looked at the dish and nodded to myself for how good it was for someones first time cooking.

Once I set the plate in front of my parents they couldn't help but think that this was a little too easy, so I said enjoy the food and they dug in.
After their first bit they both went wide-eyed and told me that it was really good.
They told me to get some sleep and that they would tell me about the elite 10 tomorrow.
-The next day-
I woke up and immediately went to the kitchen to make the table and to prepare breakfast for us.
After we were done with breakfast I asked my mom if she could tell me more about the elite 10 and Totsuki.
My mom told me how the Nakiri family runs the school and has been doing it since the school was build.
She told me that the elite 10 was made out of the 10 best chefs from the school, the only downside was all the paperwork they had to do.
She also told me that if I would meet a beautiful women that I should persue her, but that I shouldn't persue her to the point that I'm doing her every bidding, I should gradually get to know her and make good food for her.
Because my mom said it as "In Totsuki the way to a womens heart is through her stomach."
I nearly fell from my chair because I was laughing so hard, because I thought she was joking, but then I looked at dad and he told me that that was how he got married to mom.
I was shocked, but still happy that they found their perfect match.
-time skip 4 years-
I woke up and noticed that the house was rather silent and when I went to investigate, I heard the doorbell ring, I immediately went to check who it was, when I saw it was the police, I didn't know what to do.
So I just opened the door and asked them what they could be doing here.
They asked me if I was the adopted son of John and Sarah. (a/n yes I gave them random names)
I said I was and they said that my parents died because of a gas leak in the restaurant they worked in.
As a result of that gas leak, multiple people were killed in the explosion including my adoptive parents.
They also told me that they left me the house and that the bills were paid until the time that I turned 15 with the reason that I would join Totsuki at that age.
-Time skip 7 years-
I woke up from my dream still remembering the talk with the police about my adoptive parents.
At first I was sad, but then I started devoting more time into cooking, because they always said I would be a great cook, so I should put my time more into cooking than helping them around the house.
After I walked to the kitchen I pulled out the ingredients I needed for breakfast and started cooking.
After breakfast was done, I went to the gym, my physique has improved so much that I had trouble shaking of the girls add onto that my golden eyes and my grey/blue hair, most of the guys told me they were envious of my looks and told me they heard a lot of girls in the gym talk about me and how they should approach me, they even saw a group of girls fighting and saying I was theirs, the managaer of the gym eventually broke them up and revoked their memberships and escorted them off the premise.
After I got home I noticed the time and it was around 5pm, so I started making dinner.
Once I was done and had plated the table for 3, like I always do, it's to remind me of my parents.
I suddenly hear the doorbell and answered it.
In front of the door stood 1 old mand and a man who looked like he could be his son.
I asked them who they were and why they were here, I was shocked to hear their answer.
-flashback 10 minutes ago, Dojima gin pov-
I was taking an afternoon stroll joined by my old teacher Senzeamon Nakiri.
We were talking about how Azami had failed us as a cook and tried to force Erina all his food and told her that she could only eat this food, because the rest of the food wasn't good.
When all of a sudden we smelled a scent that brought us back to our childhood and Senzeamon suddenly went chest naked and I asked him if it was that delicious.
He told me it was and that we should check it out.
Once we came to the front door of the house the smell radiated from, we knocked and not even a minute later a boy no older than 15 came out and asked us who we were and what we came here for.
I said I'm Dojima Gin and this is my old teacher Senzeamon Nakiri and we noticed a delicious smell and came to check it out, is one of you parents perhaps cooking dinner, he shook his head and told me his original parents disowned him and his adoptive parents died 7 years back, so it was just him.
-Pov switch back to Ayden-
After I told them about my parents I invited them in and told them I already placed 2 extra plates on the table because it reminds me of my parents.
I asked them if they could close the door behind them and then I led them to the kitchen where the table was made and the food was served.
After dinner they asked me why I let them in so easily, I told them my parents were from Totsuki and told me a lot about the place and about the polar star dormitory.
So I knew who Senzaemon Nakiri and Dojima Gin were, after all my parents were the 9th and 10th seat of their generation.
They asked me about my original family and I answered with only 2 names, Azami Nakiri.
They looked at me like they had seen a ghost.
They asked me what had happened.
I told them how Azami hold me in his arms and said that I didn't have any talents nor did I have a future in cooking, but when he hold my twin sister he said that she had the god tongue like her mother and an amazing and broad future in cooking.
I told them how he just drove me off to the nearest orphanage and how he dropped me there.
Senzaemon looked even paler.
I asked him what was wrong and he said that Azami said that the other twin had died during birth and that he already got rid of it, so I hope you're not lying son.
Senzaemon also asked me how I was this good at cooking when Azami said I had no gifts nor future in cooking.
I told him how at the age of 2 I developed the god tongue, god hands and god eyes gifts.
He and Dojima looked shocked at me.
Senzaemon then asked me if I wanted to enroll at Totsuki.
I told him I wanted to and I asked him when the transfer exam was.
He said next week, you'll get a letter with the route and where you'll need to be.
I thanked him and asked him if he couldn't say anything about this and my family stuff to my twin and my mom.
He told me he wouldn't tell them and that they would see for themselves who I was.
He also told me that I was still a Nakiri since he acknowledged me.
