A motionless voice trembled under the medium inside this nest of mine.
To no wonder, I was awakened by the abrupt mechanical voice as I slowly unwrapped my scaly eyes.
A surge of weariness immediately barraged my body that could be roughly interpreted as extremely uncomfortable.
It felt like I had been crammed inside a small box and finally been freed after a long time.
After feeling a little bit better.
I drifted my gaze towards my body.
To my surprise, a huge change had occurred from last night that my body was no longer the same as before!.
I had grown larger!...
This was such a welcomed surprise though it should have been expected.
These changes directly caused my muscle to be squeezed in this tight corner that I was sleeping in yesterday.
No wonder my body felt like it had been crammed inside a box before.
It was due to the increases in my size and the small corner that I am currently am.
Realizing this.
I hurriedly moved away from the corner just to finally feel a bit better.
Having a bit of room to sniff some fresh murky air inside this hole.
"System how long had I been asleep?... "
I asked with interest.
(Ding answered back to the host. The host had been asleep for 5 hours straight)
"I see... so this means that my next evolution will take even longer... I can already see the pattern."
I made this assumption after a set of careful thoughts was put into this.
Well... it was pretty easy to guess.

"Anyway... system I had always been wondering this one thing."

(Ding replying to the host. The system had modified the host's new body to not be influenced by hunger.)
( Even if the host were not eaten for hundreds of years... the host still won't feel hungry.)
"Well, that's very useful!... with this I don't have to expend my time searching for victims just to fulfill my starvation."
"Killing alone is enough... though having a taste of food here and there won't hurt."
After hearing the system description.
I sprawled my body around as I investigated if there were any major differences other than the size increases.
There were no changes in the skin or any part of my body except that I had grown substantially larger... that was all.

4. Damage resistance: reduce damage taken by 7% (Permanent passive)
5. Tail slam: increase the attack of the tail type attacks by 7% (Passive)

"This?? 10-10000 evolution points??!!!... system why did the required points suddenly leap so high?"
(Ding... answering back to the host. The next advancement will affect host essence and a big adjustment will be made as such the amount 10000 would only be logical.)
"I-I see... hahaha"
(Host doesn't need to feel demoralized. Over time host will be able to acquire more than enough points for the next evolution)
"O-okay? thank you?"

I secretly guessed...
Next, I drifted my attention towards my skills as I began to evaluate them.
To no surprise, all of them had been upgraded.
And I'm very surprised with the first skill development...
But of course, this was merely my silly thoughts.
" System what time is it now?..."
(Ding... it's 00:00 am)
"midnight huh... I guess I will be sleeping for now and proceed on my hunting tomorrow."
(Ding... if the host wishes to. The system can turn off host consciousness when the host is asleep.)
"T-this?!!? you can do that?"
I asked in disbelief since such function was otherworldly.
It was similar to an AFK farming game back in my previous life.
(Yes, host. this system was constructed to support the host in every way possible. turning off host consciousness for some time is simply a breeze.)
"But won't that indicates that I won't feel the process of sleeping?"
(No... the host body will still experience the sleeping process and nothing will be altered except that host will feel it pass in the blink of an eye)
"Hiss??... that is simply otherworldly. then do that for me... the faster I can wake up tomorrow the faster I can continue with my hunting."
(Ding instruction was utilized by the user... turning off host consciousness in 3...)
Hearing the sudden metallic noise...
Panic engulfed my mind as I tried to stop this foolish system from taking in the wrong instruction.
"Huh, we-wait!"

"at least let me find a good sleep-!"

*Plopped*
My body crashed softly onto the cold ground...
As my tongue lingered about on the outside of my mouth... tasting the flavor of the dirt as my saliva seeped freely.
