Shit, shit, shit, shit!

The man in front of her was too hot. James felt an insane urge to grab him and suck on his muscled neck.

My God! What am I thinking?! Can't, can't, can't! It doesn't mean he likes me in a sexual sense too. he thought, shaking his head frantically.

James sat down on the ground and gathered some branches, setting off a blaze and making a fire. He looked at the many branches on the ground and thought that perhaps the man had tried to build a fire earlier but had failed.

The man walked over and sat down opposite her. He stared at James curiously, hoping to see some disbelieving reaction from the boy, but there was no need for that. James could tell that was his wolf simply by looking into those twinkling blue eyes, as they conveyed the same feeling of peace and tranquility.

-Well... Kairon, isn't it? Great name. I've never introduced myself properly because you're a wolf recently, but my name is James. _said extending his hand to him, who hesitantly took it.

-You've been sleeping for three days. _spoke making James jump from where he was and look at him skeptically.

-Three days?! So you've been taking care of me for three days? _spoke sitting down again, running his hand through his hair and his tongue over his lips nervously.

James noticed that Kairon had been staring intently at his lips when he did so, so he quickly stopped and stood up straight looking at him seriously.

-Need to go. Look, thanks so much for taking care of me, but I really need to get back to town. My mom must be freaking out by now. _spoke picking up your belongings. _I'll be back later, ok? _said with a gentle and affectionate smile.

James stood up but was quickly embraced by Kairon who pressed her body against his, wrapping her strong arms around his waist.

-Do not go! I do not want to be alone. I won't be able to change into a wolf anytime soon and I don't know what to do. Before I moved by instinct, but now I don't know how to get by in this forest. Do not leave me! _Kairon said with watery eyes.

James suddenly felt a tightness in his chest and dropped to his knees.

-James! _Kairon yelled worried. _Are you okay? What happened? I heard your heart fail. What was it? Hey! Answer me! _ he kept calling James, but James was so focused on calming down that he didn't answer.

-I'm fine, it was just a brief malaise. _spoke sighing still feeling some pain. _Anyway, I'll take you to the village since you won't be able to survive here. I'll get you an outfit and be back quickly. Then I want you to explain this lycan conversation to me. _James said leaving there, but was again held by the bigger one.

-Take me with you! he said nervously.

James sighed, took off the cloak he was wearing and threw it over the naked man in front of him.

They drove through the isolated part of town so that no one would see them that night, but that was not quite what happened, as the king's son saw them passing by his carriage in the dead of night.
