Chapter 17: Norse mythology (alternate timeline)
(A/N be mine I just want to remind anybody that is reading this that this is basically just of what would have happened if our protagonist didn't destroy the universe that he was reborn in and actually live his life as a Viking)
so we can see our protagonist doing the same conversation to himself that he was doing in the last chapter.
practically freaking out about being reborn into another universe while being a multiverse.
in other words a multiverse that created a universe who was reborn in the universe.
so our protagonists after doing a quick check to see if his main body the multiverse still exist he was relieved to find that it still exists and his main body was still alive just the soul of his clone was reincarnated.
are protagonist due to wasting so much energy and due to his new body being now just an ordinary baby he fell asleep from exhaustion of overthinking.

(5 years later alternate timeline protagonist POV)
it seems like it has just been a day since I was a baby.
and that was very strange to me as my time as the multiverse really change my perspective of time.
time used to be irrelevant for me and I didn't have to do something at a specific time I just had to decide which time I wanted to do it in.
I wasn't bound to time like how I was when I was a human.
but now being reborn again I began to see time like how I used to in my old days.
time seems to run by slow really really slow.
so slow that it would take thousands of seconds for a single raindrop to hit the ground.
I didn't really know if this was due to me transcending all logic of time or do to me being too powerful for this universe to handle but whatever it was my logic of time seems to be twisted at least to the inhabitants of this world.
I can still see the strings of reality within this universe even though they were far faded and far out of sight then they used to be.
as I was monologuing I heard somebody coming in the house and heading for my room.
"HEY BELLEZOO GET YOUR FREAKING ASS DOWN HERE"
I heard a rough and demanding voice call out to me.
complying to the man name Roger who is my teacher I came down like I was told.
"HERE! this is a axe you already know how to use it so I'm not going to get into too much detail but the chief decided to put you up in the arena to fight something to determine if you're worthy to be in the crew and go out with us"
Rodger through an ax at me and I caught it mid-air looking at it as I was listening to what he was saying.
"well you think you can tell me what I'm going to fight so that at least I will have a little advantage"
"NO!!!"
Roger yell at me looking at me with anger eyes.
'my God I think the only reason the chief picks him as a viking was because of his anger issues or something this guy could easily be set off even at the littlest thing'
I thought to myself.
Roger brought me outside to the cold snow walking roughly in the streets everybody making a path for Rodger.
Roger was one of the Commander and mostly lead the whole Viking crew through battles when the chief is not there.
of course there were many other Viking Chiefs in the City and we normally call these chief's kings
but I like to call them chief.
me and Roger stop at a huge Gates entering to see a huge battle arena.
there are many kids around my age all preparing to do the same dangerous test as I was about to do.
one kid named Rogan was set out to fight his first opponent.
and his first opponent was a dragon a young dragon.
the kid Rogan ran towards the direction of the small dragon holding his sword firmly and with a tight rib slashing down with a strong slash.

I saw as the last kid before me that was meant to fight a monster a wild monster ran away from the arena before the fight could even start.
but the kid had nowhere to run as the arena it only be open from the outside so the kid was screaming in fright as he was running away from the three arm seven head razor sharp teeth monster.
none of the adults bother to try and help the kid only looking disappointed at the kids cowardice.
the kid couldn't run forever and he eventually fell on the ground and was brutally killed by the monster which ate him afterward.

as I came out of the my cell I saw a giant door in front of me.
the Viking king along with my 'parents' we're all watching in anticipation.
I stood there firmly holding my shield and my sword.
I could hear giant footsteps coming from the giant doors.
as the door was burst open and a giant came out.
the giant was a kid it was older than me but still a kid.
(the giant is older than the protagonist clone body not his main multiversal body)
the giant was around 16 years old.
the giant look at me with red eyes.
as it ran towards my direction.
the giant wildly send a punch towards me which due to some level of experience I Dodge but every punch that the giant send it was harder to dodge as the Giants huge ham was bigger than even the Viking King.
but I dodged and dodged around these punches waiting for an opening.
and then I saw it.
the eyes it didn't have any armor so it's eyes was clearly a weak point.
but how was I going to get up it's huge body and be able to slash its eyes it's not like I had any arrows issue the giant with so I just had to come up with a strategy.
I saw another of the Giants punch and I dodged once again.
the Giants send another punch and I grabbed the giant's hand as it hold its hand back.
the giant tried to crush me and get a hold of me with his other hand but I use this to get up its hand and ran towards his body like an ant.
I jumped up my sword in front of me.
PIERCED.
a loud piercing sound could be heard through the arena as my sword went straight through the eyes of the drawing.
the giant roid in pain after a wild of processing would have just happened and grabbed me.
the Giant threw me towards the direction of the wall of the arena.
as I flew through the air at a deadly speech I realize if I didn't do something to slow me down I would hit the wall and will literally pop like a balloon.
subconsciously a cosmic cloak surrounded my entire body as the high speed that I was heading towards the wall slow down more and more.
until things completely stopped the only thing I could see is a gray surrounding.
time was stopped.
I realize that I was using my power subconsciously to stop time.
I have just absorbed a huge chunk of energy from this universe and stop time with it!!.
I flew down to the ground next to the wall of the arena pretending like I have hit it afterward I created a small crater around me to show that I was hit badly.
time resumed again as I stood up making the appearance of struggling and look up towards the direction of the Giant.
the Giant recovered from its lost eye and look even more bloodthirsty than it did before.
it ran towards me but not before stopping its hand on the ground eating away at the life force of the Earth only to create a giant bat.
it striked it's bat down and I moved around it and yet again did the same thing climbed up the bat.
the giant seems to have anticipated this and a spike appeared in the place that I was. one standing on on the back.
I jumped up with a human speed and punched the giant squaring the face.
green matter along with veins and blood coated the entire arena as I fell down to the ground.
!!!!!!!YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
all of the Vikings shouted in amazement and amusement.
I fell to the ground with a hard dump I'm using my power again I knock myself into unconsciousness.

(A/N sorry if this story feel rush it kind of is since I had something I wanted to do in this story but I couldn't executed right so I just kind of rushed everything to finish this story up anyway....
this is just something I decided to do since I guess wanted to explore an alternate timeline of what if our protagonist didn't destroy the universe he was in...
for those of you that doesn't like alternate timelines I won't be including them in the story anymore for those of you that does...
well I actually do not know what to say about that...
well anyway I'll see you in the next multiverse chapter)
