Chapter 21: Shooting 20k Arrows.

Now, all Basmon wanted was to get the skill 'Arrow Rain'. And to do that, he needed more TP. The easiest quest he saw was the 'Shoot 20k Arrows' quest, so he decided to do that one.
Basmon went outside to a huge ledge, and started to shoot down from it randomly. He wasn't aiming at anything, he just wanted to shoot the arrows. He ended up staying up there, just shooting down arrows for a bit of time. He could only shoot about 5,500 Arrows per day, so he would have to stay up there for atleast 3 days. (15 Seconds-Time it takes for him 2 shoot 1 arrow*4, so 4 arrows in 1 minute, * 60, so 240 arrows in 1 hour, times 24. -Time for resting or doing whatever)
After 3 and a half days, Basmon was finally 1 arrow away. During that time, Vatue and Zocu had been training in another mountain which was populated by mountain goats. Now, these mountain goats were not your normal mountain goats. They would immediantly try to know anyone who came up the mountain off of the mountain, and were extreamly fast with horns harder than steal.
Vatue and Zocu's goal was to get to the top of the mountain, but they could not kill any of the Mountain Goats.
Both of them kept getting knocked down, bruising both of them immensly.
In the end, Vatue was able to get to the top, but Zocu was not. Basmon had finally finished his quest.

'Wonderful! Lets go! System, Buy Arrow Rain!' Basmon commanded, elated.

'Finally! And the quest evolved so I can get more rewards! This is amazing!' Basmon shouted internally, happy he had finally gotted arrow rain. He had hundreds of ideas for a combination attack with this skill, especially once he had more mana.

'Ugh... So many skills. I guess I could just buy a bunch of low tier and low ranked skills...' Basmon moaned.
Now, he wanted to test arrow rain. This was probably the easiest thing to do. He went back to the ledge he finished the quest at, and looked in the distance. He saw a large tree, sticking above the rest, and decided to target it.
Above the tree, a huge pink magical circle appeared, and out of it came torrents of arrows. Hundreds of arrows fell on the tree, making it look like a porcupine.
Basmon immediantly cast 'Second Teleportation', teleporting him to one of the still falling arrows.
'IT WORKED!' Basmon yelled internally, happy this had worked.
Soon, he had discovered he could also mix in other arrow types in the mix. For an extra 80 mana, he could change 20% of the arrows to fire arrows or ice arrows, and for 100 extra mana, he could change 30% of them to poisen arrows.
He could also use this skill to teleport almost anywhere, so long as he knew the location. This skill also could be a perfect assasination skill. 'Hey System, what tier is this skill?' Basmon wondered, as it seemed quite strong.

'Wow! A legendary tier skill! How wonderful... If I level it up so it ranks up, the it should become alot stronger, too!' Basmon exclaimed happily. He then started to travel back to Vatue and Zocu, as he accidentaly teleported quite far from them.
"Roar!!!" A sound broke the almost silence, startling Basmon who immediantly summoned Spectral Body. His mana had almost entirely regenerated by now. In-front of him stood a large boar that seemed to have almost evolved from a Wild Animal to a Magic Creature.
'Oh? This seems like a good creature to test arrow rain on...' Basmon decided, desummoning spectral body, and flying far above the boar.
Once he was about 20 meters above the boar, he activated 'Arrow Rain'.
Above the boar, hundreds of arrow fell, giving the boar no chance to hide. His entire body was pierced almost immediantly, killing him in under a second.
<Hidden Quest Complete: Kill an animal using over 100 arrows: Reward: Skill: 100 Arrow Transformation>
'Oh? What a conviniant hidden quest... System, information on Arrow Transformation, Please...' Basmon requested.
<Arrow Transformation: Can combine 100 arrows into 1 'Super Arrow'. Super arrow can break through almost anything, and it 100x stronger than a regular arrow. (Cost 100 Mana)>
'Wow... That could be perfect if I combined it with arrow rain. I guess it makes sense that the reward corolates to the quest...' Basmon thought.
He then regenerated his mana, and teleported back to the cave they were in by shooting a power shot and teleporting to it using 'Teleportation'. Once back, he regenerated his mana once more, then decided to test his new skill. He had 320 Mana, so he could barly manage it.
Once done regenerating mana, he went outside the cave, and targeted another tree. This time, he summoned the arrow rain a bit higher.
About 40 Meters above the tree, over 300 arrows fell down. Basmon immediantly activated 'Arrow Transformation'. Exactly a 100 of the arrows drew towards eachother, and combined. In their place stood a gigantic monster arrow, falling at the same speed as the other arrows.
The moment it hit the tree, it piece throught it, hitting the ground, and buring itself halfway in the ground. The arrow then exploded, releasing hundreds of arrows in random directions arrow it.
'Holy... That is an insanly good attack. It seems that's the best attack I have right now... It completly demolished that tree... Ha...' Basmon muttered in shock. He had not expected it to be so powerful, especially because it costed so little mana. 'System, why does it cost so little mana?' Basmon asked.
<Because it does not summon the arrows too. If it did, it would cost atleast 300 mana to activate>
'Wait... So isn't that a deal? Because arrow rain summons more than a 100 arrows! Wonderful!' Basmon stated, elated.
