Chapter 2: My New Life Starts

In a dark room the sound of steam and molten metal being casted can be heard from,
"Ugh, ow my head, what happened?
Hot, so very hot!!! AAAAAAH!!!" (I'm burning alive!)
"Huh?! I can't move?!"
I open my eyes and look around, I hadn't realized they were closed but I see that I'm locked in place by solid metal bands and I'm glowing red as if I'm metal cooling down.
I shortly afterwards realize I AM metal cooling down, I was hoping this wasn't the case but I seem to got isekai'd or in other words reincarnated, I think?
After a couple of minutes of me looking around and noticing my body(?) cooling down I was freed from my shackles and got up.
I looked around and saw that there were more robots further down the line that I couldn't see, I look at my hands and overall body, I somewhat resemble a knight from medieval times.
I then hear a robotic male's voice saying "Hello and welcome to your life here at lord Dita's mansion. Please head towards the next room and pick out a weapon, you will then be assigned to an area to guard. Also to all sentient/more intelligent golems, please head to the side room after choosing a weapon, don't worry, it'll be lit up in flashy words 'side room' as to ensure you don't get lost."
W-well that makes things easy for me, I guess, but a weapon huh, wonder what choices they got for me? If they got it, should I go katana? Nah, too much skill needed for it, spear? no, not enough damage potential.
Ooh, I know! The halberd! It has nice cutting power due the axe, range of the spear and is versatile, I was always a fan of it anyway so it definitely fit most if not all things needed for a novice like me!
Anyway, I follow my fellow golems to the armory(?) and sure enough found a halberd that I definitely liked the look of, my fellow members got mainly spears and swords but I did see a katana as a choice but for the reason stated earlier, not gonna get it.
Also for everyone's knowledge I wanted a spare sword or something but only 1 weapon per golem apparently. What? Surprised I'm so calm and acceptive of being reincarnated as a golem? Well I can't change anything so I'll just go with the flow like I usually do.
After grabbing my halberd, I don't go to the lit up door as I fear it may lead to an early death, after all, who in there right mind would just go "I'm a sentient free willed robot that is going against my programming" out in the public? Not this guy, er, golem.
After a short line I find out I'm assigned to the front door and are teleported there like I assumed with the golems in front of me disappearing after they're assigned an area.
After being blinded by a bright light I'm suddenly in front of a huge door, if my assumptions are right I'm about 6 feet at a minimum and this door is easily twice my size, maybe nearing 3 times?
Regardless it's tall but also wide, I'd say, around 10 feet, its also has carvings on it reminiscent of a family crest or something
Damn, if the entrance is this large then what am I defending against?
I look around and notice that it kind of looks like kino der toten from BO1 but isn't run down and in it's prime, red velvet carpets with a contrasting black gothic feel that I actually like the look of.
I don't see any other golems other than me so I guess that either we defend the areas by ourselves or I'm at a side entrance, I would prefer the latter over the former obviously.
little does our golem know is that golems are given a randomly selected area and wander the area, he is also at the main entrance to Dita mansion.
with a sigh "this is gonna take a while to get used to huh?"
