Chapter 2: Chapter 2
It's been a few days since I reincarnated I think. I can't actually see outside but based on when people come in here I think it has been a few days. A lot of the people here have been sold and there are only a few of us left. Most people look at me and walk away and usually say I am too young to be useful and search for a different slave. I have noticed so far that the only people who are slaves are the animal-human hybrid people but I will call them demi-humans because that's what they got called in most anime and Tv shows in my past life and that all the buyers are humans.
Today so far has been normal. I woke up and found some more disgusting bread in my cage and I ate it resisting the urge to throw up and then I sat there for a while until the slave trader came in with a few other men.
"Load them up into the trailer, We leave for the next city as soon as possible."<Slave trader>
I then watch as some of the people go and take some of the slaves out of their cages and put a collar on them and attach a chain to it and walk them out of the building I then watch as a man comes up to my cage and opens it and walks towards me and so I back up.
The man then tries to grab me but I wiggle away and crawl between his legs trying to get away.
"Stupid animal."<Slave trader servant>
He then stops trying to get the collar on me and just picks me up and carries me away while I squirm.
"Let me go."<Jack>
"Shut up you beast."<Slave trader servant>
After a few minutes of walking, I get thrown into a cage with the three other slaves and the man walks away.
I then look at the other slaves that are in our shared cage. There is one woman and two men. The woman is a fox girl and looks to be around 20 years old and is extremely dirty and has a cut ear. I then look at the men one is probably round 30 years old and was part dog and looked really unhealthy and the other looked around 16 and was also part dog.
We then sat there for awhile and no one spoke when suddenly we start moving.
I then decide to speak.
"Ummm, do you guys know where we are going?"<Jack>
'I actually know we are heading two another city probably to get sold.'<jack>
The two men look at me and ignore me but the women decides to answer me.
"We are probably heading to a new city."<Fox Girl>
Then no ones talks and we just sit their in silence for awhile until I decide to go to sleep.
Two days later.
The trailer then stops and I try to listen to the slave traders conversation.
"Finnaly we are here, No need to set up the shop we will just sell them out of the trailer since there are so few of them left."<Slave trader>
Then a man comes to our cart and throws in 3 pieces of bread and the three others quickly go and grab it leaving me with none.
My ears then droop down and I go back to a corner of the cage and start to close my eyes when feel someone tapping my arm so I then open them and look at the person who tapped me on the arm.
The person who disturbed me was the 30 year old man and he was holding out half of his peice of bread.
"Want it?"<30 year old man>
"Are you sure?"<Jack>
He then nodds his head.
I then grab the peice of bread and take a bite out of it and swallow it.
"Thanks."<Jack>
The man then goes back to his corner and behind to eat the other half of bread.
After eating the piece of bread I try to go to sleep when I am disturbed again by someone coming to the back of the trailer talking to the slave trader.
"We might not have a lot left but you might like one of them."<Slave trader>
The person then looks around the back of the trailer at the four of us.
The person then points at the teenage boy and one of the slave traders servants opens the cage and brings out the boy and puts him on his knees and reveals his shoulder and I see a weird symbol on it.
'Do I have that symbol on my shoulder? I don't think I have ever taken off my shirt so I never looked."<jack>
I then reveal my shoulder and see that I have same black symbol on my shoulder.
'Maybe it is a symbol that is on all slaves?'<Jack>
I then go back to watching the slave trader and the others.
I then see the slave trader take out a small dagger and then he hands it to the buyer and tells him to cut his hand a little to make it bleed and then I watch as the buyer does as he is told then the slave trader tells the buyer to put his blood on the slaves slave crest and too channel mana into it.
'Magic? Did he say magic? Off course I reincarnated in a slave in a world of magic and there even is enslavment magic which makes things even worse.'<jack>
I then watch as they buyer puts their blood on the boys slave crest and then I notice that the symbol starts to glow and and change shape a little and I can see the boy clench his teeth.
'Is it hurting him?'<jack>
Eventually the glowing stops and a symbol apperis on the buyers hand.
"There we go it went perfectly."<Slave trader>
The slave trader then hands the buyer a few papers and puts a metal collar onto the slave boy and everyone walks away.
'We have been here for like a hour and one of us is already gone.'<jack>
'I honestly don't know if I want to get sold so I can get out of these crappy living conditions or stay here so I don't have to work.'<jack>
We then sit in silence for the rest of the day until I fall asleep.
The next day a young man comes in the middle of the after noon and buys the teenage girl and does the same strange magic thing and now all that's left is me and the 30 year old man.
Then two days pass and some people have come to look at us but no one buys me or the man and currently it is the middle of the night and I am sleeping when I get awoken by a thump and I look over to the man and he has fallen onto his side with his eyes open staring at me.
'What the hell did he pass out with his eyes open.'<jack>
I then go over to the man to see if he is ok.
'Oh my god he isn't breathing, He is dead he just died randomly what the hell.'<jack>
I then back away from him with fear in my eyes and look at him while his dead eyes stare liflessly at me.
'What do I do? Are the people going to check on us again. No No I doubt it its like midnight.'<Jack>
I then go back to my corner and put my head in my knee's.
'Just don't look at him, Just don't look at him, Just don't look at him.'
I end up sitting in their in a scared little ball too scared to peek my eyes out because I don't want to see the dead body that's only feet away but luckily eventually I fall asleep.
In the morning
"Hey boss one of the slaves died during the night."<Slave trader servant>
"Oh which one?"<Slave trader>
"The 29 year old sick male."<Slave trader servant>
"Hmm, ok just go throw his body out into the forest."<Slave trader>
"Ok."<Slave trader servant>
I am still in my little ball while one of them comes and drags the mans body out of the cage and throws me two peices of bread.
"Your lucky your the last one because you get some extra food."<Slave trader servant>
I then listen as he drags the body away while I still haven't moved since last night.
Eventually I get hungry and I decide to leave my ball and go grab the bread and bring it back to my corner and I decide to eat it and then I sit there thinking about what has happened.
'Did I just sit their in a small ball scared for the past hours? Maybe I am really turning into a 6 year old girl.'<Jack>
I then slowly eat the bread and then try to sleep again since it is the only thing I can do until I hear some talking.
"Sadly i only have one slave left but if your looking for someone two do some basic farm and house work then she should do even though she is really young."<Slave trader>
"Hmm let me see her."<Buyer>
"Right this way sir."<Slave Trader>
I then see them come to the back of the trailer and they look in at me.
"She is really young are you sure she can do the work."<buyer>
"I am sure, she may be young but she will probably get the hang of it and once she grows up she will probably be beauty that you can have all types of fun with."<Slave trader>
"Hmm fine I will get her."<Buyer>
'I am getting bought!'<Jack>
I then look over the man and he looks to be around 30 and is pretty muscular and tall.
One of the slave traders servant comes into the cage and drags me out of the cage and I don't struggle because I know it useless because my small body. and I then get put by the buyer and the servant pulls away some of my shirt to reveal my slave crest.
I then hear the slave trader explain to the buyer what to do and I then feel a liquid on my shoulder that I assume is his blood but then suddenly I feel a painful burning feeling spread through my shoulder and I clentch my jaw trying not to yell out in pain until the feeling slowly fades away.
The slave trader then gives the man the same papers he gives the other buyers and puts a metal collar and leesh on me and the man drags me away with him.
'Please be a good person, please be a good person, please be a good person.'<jack>
Eventually the man takes me to a hourse drawn cart that has some vegetables in the back.
"Get in the back."<Buyer>
I then listen to the man and struggle to get into the back because the cart is taller than me. The man then sighs and picks me up and throws me into the cart and I land and scrape my knees to the point of bleeding and then the man walks to the front of the cart and starts to drive it.
'Definatly not a good person.'<Jack>
And we then ride away out of the city.
