Chapter 18: chapter 15: bloody massacre and Noelle’s watery breakthrough part 2/2
-Nebra pov-
we all hear the rumble and bangs of magic being fired,followed by the banshe like scream of an unknown man,then all was silent,'Arata must have dealt with the bandits' nebra thought before feeling a tug on her sleeve.
Marie was staring at the royal,"I think it's over,we should go to Arata and the others."the young girl said to the three other people.
"Yeah I don't feel any foreign mana around us anymore."(luck)
"I agree with Marie,we should join the others now cousin." Mimosa said to nebra,who after some thought nodded,"let's go."

"Urgh! I can't believe we all got blindsided by bandits/criminals/cretins"(yami,nozelle,and Fuegoleon,each in their heads) were the first things that came to mind when they woke up from their smoke magic induced coma,walking out of the cabin foyer,they were met with an absolute horror show of a skirmish.
Bodies without heads were on the ground with pools of blood and viscera all around the area thankfully not covering the still unconscious children,and in the center stood a young teen covered in blood.
Yami didn't hesitate to speak what the other captains and knights were thinking.
"HOLY SHIT ARATA!! What the hell happened while we were unconscious?!", Arata acknowledging the land around them turned to the horrified knights,"oh hold on everyone I'll take care of the blood and bodies and make this place clean again.", and upon saying that he held his hand out,soon the bodies shuddered except one,turning into a blood puddles,even bones weren't spared.
And just as fast as it happened all the blood gathered into a giant sphere of crimson,which soon turned solid and silver forming itself into a set of identical pistols.
Watching the scene unfolding before them the magic knights outside of the captains and the black bulls,all shuddered,'thank god he's on our side!'
"…Arata,can you explain what happened to the blood and bodies of the victims as well as these new guns I believed you called them.", Fuegoleon asked Arata while Nozelle nodded in agreement.
Arata thought for a bit before speaking," so I commanded the blood in the bandits bodies to liquify the said bodies,then commanded the blood to form into a sphere to be disposed of ,as for the new guns I think the iron in the blood formed themselves into theses dual pistols.", after explaining he showed the guns to the captains.
The guns were pistols in the form of a fusion of pistol and revolver,with the cylinder showing crimson shading,and the rest of the gun was obsidian black.
(A/n: Arata has unlocked donner and Schlag,which I'll name thunder striker)
Fuegoleon after hearing the explanation relaxed but turned to the body of the last bandit.
"Arata?"
"Yes mister Fuegoleon?"
"You said all dead bodies were disposed of,why isn't this one?"
"Wait what do you mean I made sure all of them were dead,so how can h-",before he could finish his sentence,Arata's entire being shuddered,feeling like impending death was coming,then they all heard it.
"ZEEHAHAHAHA!! YOU WRETCH,YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!! NOW THAT IM GOING DOWN IM TAKING EVERYONE WITH ME!!!!"
Everyone shocked at the voice turned to the bloodied bandit whose body temperature was rising rapidly,like he was on fire,suddenly Arata shouted to everyone else," everyone!! Grab all the children he's got a magic item that will turn the land into a goant crater!!!", upon hearing this the last bandit screeched in glee,"it's too late!! You all shall die!!!"
-Noelle pov-
Hearing they all will die Noelle was panicking,'dammit!! Why can't I help everyone instead of feeling powerless' Noelle thought to herself glancing at Arata.
Suddenly a flashback came to her mind," so you wish to save others? Then like your element be flexible, make the current defend the area while creating a torrent of unstoppable force,believe in yourself and believe in me and you will become stronger than all your family!!"
"Like hell I'm going to let everyone die!!!" Noelle shouted in defiance,her body glowing a deep blue,suddenly water from the lake erupted around the bandit,encasing the man.
[water magic: leviathans cocoon] (yes this is not a canon spell,but considering I wanted Noelle to kill the final bandit for her breakthrough,I made this spell for her)
Nozelle,Fuegoleon and even nebra who just saw the spectacle unfold were in shock.
" Noelle!!! You're doing it!!! You're controlling your magic!!", Noelle heard Arata say while the two royal captains watched.
The bandit leader was struggling to breathe in the water,flailing to no avail,so the bandits body was left inside,slowly the mana body stopped glowing and he stopped moving.
The cacoon of water dissipated,and the dead bandit fell with a sickening splat.
Noelle turned to Arata in realization as tears formed on her eyes," I did it !! I can control my magic now!!", Arata watching her cry was happy for his first student.
Soon the magic king himself came back after hearing what happened,"Arata I heard you killed all the bandits to defend all the unconscious knights and children,I thank you for you help." Julius said with a respectful bow towards Arata.
But soon after his eyes looked at Arata with stars in his eyes,"BUT SERIOUSLY YOU COMMANDED BLOOD TO DISPOSE OF BODIES AND EVEN MADE NEW WEAPONS FOR YOURSELF?! THIS IS INCREDIBLE,WHAT IS YOUR MAGIC?!", Julius in his magic geek mode was bombarding the young Arata with questions,before giving his response.
" well if you wish then in two years attend my grimoire ceremony,we can get your answer then", Julius upon hearing his response nodded his head," then I'll wait two years,I'll ask Marx to let me attend to watch your ceremony."
After that everyone went back to the capital,and Arata was at his bed telling the story to his bird,after that he went to bed excited for what may come in the future.
…soon after two years have passed.
