Chapter 7: 7) Mana beasts
I turned back to see a girl with red hair she wore a red and white coloured dress and wait I saw her when Miss Theresa introduced me to all the members who were doing training in the mana training area she was called Mimosa if I remember correctly.
I have a bigger problem in hand she saw me use Kirsch's cherry blossom magic. "even I don't know how I used cherry blossom magic myself " I replied, "I just thought maybe I could try to replicate what Kirsch did using my flame magic but I made a petal that looks exactly like cherry blossom magic used by kirsch". Mimosa said "I came here to apologize on behalf of my brother but if you can use mana to this extent you could have won easily why did you lose on purpose?
It would have been great if I could see him all beaten up for all the trouble he has caused. " I wondered how much of a devil you have to be to the point where news about your elder brother getting beat makes you happy. I replied "It's annoying when people just call you a genius and all so I didn't want to reveal my powers just yet so can you keep it a secret? " she replied "alright fine" and left.
I wanted to try and use other types of magic as well so I did some research on my magic when I tried to replicate cherry blossom magic I just thought I could use it and I used it the same with flame magic but when I try to use any other magic like water or lightning magic I can't use it the only common difference between them is that I have seen people use cherry blossom and flame magic I have seen my mother use flame magic when I was a kid and I have seen kirsch use cherry blossom magic I have not seen anyone use water or lightning magic so I think I can copy any magic I have seen others use.
I don't have any proof that this works but let's try it out when I get the chance. I just realised that if I want to copy more magic from others I think the only way is to attend the mana training again do I have to deal with Kirsch again is what I thought but it has to be done so I went to Miss Theresa and asked her that I want to join the mana training class again
miss Theresa accepted it and also introduced a new student his name was Leopold vermillion to the class. Miss Theresa said "Today we are going to learn about mana beasts. Just like us humans beasts in the wild also sensed the flow of mana and evolved into mana beasts they cannot use magic using grimoires but they are not to be underestimated. " once again Kirsch goes "Mana beasts are nothing in front of my beautiful presence ". Miss Theresa ignores him and shows us a cage wrapped in a cloth.
she removes the cloth and says "This is a wolf that has felt the mana around it and has evolved into tier 1 wind wolf which uses wind mana to increase its running speed by 10 times the normal speed on its legs. Mana beasts are divided into 4 ranks basic, intermediate, advanced and warlord rank.
Each rank has 5 tiers, tier 1 being the highest and tier 5 being the lowest. This wolf is a basic rank tier 1 wind wolf. Mana beasts of intermediate rank and above can utilise mana and use it as a skill but the mana beasts in basic rank can only use the mana for faster movement or to increase their attacking strength and durability ".
As Miss Theresa finished explaining a green aura appeared around the wind wolf. Before Miss Theresa could do anything the wolf broke out of the cage and pounced at Luna
