Chapter 32: Chapter 31
In an area looking like a warzone with how destroyed it is with all the elemental moves and craters the size of massive boulders can be seen Brendan. A 14 year old typical reincarnated Pokemon fan, what's he doing right now? Training his Pokemon, as his current team has 5 final stage Pokemon. Brendan wanting to get them use to their new body and abuse their talents with learning moves faster.
"Blaziken you need to keep improving your quick attack to get it to upgrade it to an extreme speed!" Brendan shouts at Blaziken, who's a distance away trying to learn extreme speed.
Brendans other Pokemon like Swampert are trying to master their moves like waterfall as Swampert is a physical attacker. Sceptile is currently trying to master his new move. He learnt leaf storm and dragon pulse (TM). Gardevoir has been trying to master Moon blast and Psychic. Absol was using Night Slash for the first time as he wasn't a battle Pokemon, as he had been living with farmers since he was born.
Brendan has been currently been focusing on getting his Pokemon to master their moves. Being in their final forms and unable to evolve is the usual time to train a Pokemon to master their move as it increases the attacks potency or what ever it is met to do. Mastering a move gives the Pokemon more leverage to dodge and use that said attack consistently strong and fast.
The reason Brendan didn't make his Pokemon master moves before hand is because, if the said Pokemon had evolved, it would have made the mastery of the move completely useless.
Brendan is currently on route 112, sitting on the ground with Beldum and Aron watching the carnage his Pokemon are doing to the area. before you ask about the environment. Swampert can fix the ground and surrounding broken walk, but still they are pretty far off the course trainers usually walk through.
"Aron you can't train yet you are a bit too young to start your training". Brendan says to Aron while the little iron Pokemon keeps nudging Brendan to get up and train him.
"Aron!"
Beldum, seeing its new friend do this starts to join in wanting to train as the rest of the other Pokemon besides Aron are training.
"Beldum!" It hums determined.
Brendan seeing Beldum join in, in the nagging groans. "Not you too Beldum your need to wait even longer, Steven told me when I was with him the best way to get a strong Metagross." Beldum hearing this perks up.
"You need to start saving up Psychic energy to evolve by yourself and not with another Beldum as evolving with another of your species messes with your senses and coordination." Beldum, hearing this, nods, understands what his trainer says, looking sad as it knows it won't be able to train for a while.
Brendan starts to day dream, remembering all his Pokemons scary potential. 'All my Pokemon have the talent to become as strong as Champion ace Pokemon with makes my lineup even more scary the more I think about it'. The thought of who has to face his team in its prime makes him shudder.

Brendan after getting his Pokemon to successfully master some of their moves, starts to make his way to the next gym. Lavaridge, the next Town he's heading to, can be seen in the far distance. Multiple colourful houses, and one in particular that looks to be a two story building that looks like a research facility.
'It's the lab from the games. Brendan shouts, inwardly fanboying a little bit forgetting the reason the main character enters the building in the first place.
Brendan now heading towards the Pokecentre, sees a familiar person. "May?" Brendan says out loud.
The said person hearing turns around quickly. "Brendan?"
Brendan is surprised that May is here for talks. "When did you get over here? did you get your 5th badge?" Brendan asks curiously. May hearing this giggles a little.
"No silly this is my 4th gym badge I was behind you in terms of gym badges before how would I catch up?" may retorts in a joking manner. Brendan hearing this blushes a little, embarrassed by what May said.
"Nice job on your fourth gym badge May, Im here for my fifth badge". Brendan says. "I got a ride from Steven on his Skarmory to Mauville City so I was able to get my badge early." Brendan says gloatingly. Brendan now looking at May, sees her face showing complex emotions right now, but before he can say anything May speaks up.
"Um, Brendan". May says, taking a pause. "Wanna go on a date?" May says completely red on the cheeks.

I wanted to introduce mastered moves but didn't want it to be too complicated with intermediate and beginner levels of moves. So making it so that only the final forms of Pokemon can master a move was what i picked.
Like some of you guys guessed, the ship will be Brendan x May! The romance and interactions might be a little forced and maybe not make sense as I've never written any romance scenes or had any romance myself :( Im exposing my lonely ass rn.
