Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Boss Encounter

All the Civilians felt a powerful gust of wind run past them as they walked, startling them. This was, of course, our legendary bald hero, Saitama. And he had a rather ugly expression plastered on his face.
And the sole reason for that was because he had not seen a single monster since five hours ago. "*huff* *huff*" 'How did I even get exhausted? aren't I supposed to have an endless amount of stamina?' Saitama questioned himself as he took a deep breath.
As soon as he exhaled the air inside his lungs, his supposedly undying exhaustion disappeared completely. "Guess I'll go home," Said Saitama as he turned around and started walking.
But after a few minutes of walking back, the sirens flared all over the city. "Warning! threat level demon has been spotted! Please evacuate to the nearest city immediately." Said the girl broadcasting into the siren.
Saitama was ecstatic to finally hear of a monster, so without waiting any longer, he disappeared in his previous spot and then reappeared on top of a tall building. While Saitama was scouting the area to look for the said monsters, he spotted a group of ten rocky-looking monsters in the distance.
He then swiftly jump from building to building without causing too much damage to it. Landing behind the group of monsters who were terrorizing the citizens. He quickly dashed towards one who was about to be killed and stopped at the nearby civilians, then handed the guy who fainted from fear to them.
The group of monsters didn't notice him until he saved that one guy from being killed. So, just like the standard villain introduction, the said leader of their group confidently said their gang name or something without thinking much of the consequences.
He boasted about how great their king was and how great his achievements were. He kept ongoing until Saitama stopped him because this had caused Saitama to be irked. And of course, this caused the rocky monster to be infuriated, seeing the bald dude in front of him interrupt him from boasting about how great their achievements were.
So he launched a straight punch directed into Saitama's head, feeling confident that the man's head would explode the moment it contacted his fist. But contrary to his expectation, his fist was the one that exploded into bits and tiny pieces of rocks.
Screaming in pain, the monster endured this and cocked his other fist and ended it right at his chest. But the results were the same, bits and pieces of tiny rocks everywhere, and now he had no more hands to use.
So instead he used his right foot, refusing to believe that he cannot defeat this seemingly weak-looking bald man. Sending a side-kick straight at him, but instead of hitting him, Saitama raised his left arm and caught the leg. Putting a little pressure into it, he completely shattered the rocky monster's right leg, earning him an excruciating howl of pain from the monster.
The monster's subordinates, however, saw that their leader was in trouble. Quickly rushed in to aid him. Four of them rushed to tackle Saitama and the other half to take their leader away from him. Saitama swiftly dodged all the attacks sent to him and made the monster in his hand take it all.
After a few moments, the other monster realizes what they have just done. So, not caring about their leader anymore. All of them released attacks after attacks all at once. But failed because Saitama had just enough of it and ended a 'Consecutive Normal Punches' towards them, albeit a lot stronger, destroying the road below them in the process and no buildings, luckily.
After the smoke died down, the results were quite catastrophic, with most of the roads in their vicinity destroyed. Saitama then looked at the last surviving member of the group, which he intentionally left out of the range to gouge out some information of this said 'King' that their leader was boasting with pride earlier.
So, without further ado. Saitama 'kindly' asked the last member of all the information he needed. And sadly, the poor guy didn't get to see what's tomorrow.
Arriving at the location where the monster that he 'kindly' asked. Saitama saw the beach devoid of any humans. Which was to be expected because it crowded this place with monsters. And when Saitama ask the System to scan on how many monsters are here, the amount was 'coincidentally' just over a thousand of them. Oh, and just on time because the sirens rang again, saying that the threat level increased into Dragon.
With that in mind, Saitama jump in the middle of the monsters, gathering every monster's attention straight at him. And without a second thought, all of them lunged at him. And Saitama didn't just stand there like he did last time. Punching the rocky monsters one by one with minimal effort. Like literally, it can't be called a punch at this point because it looks like he was just going to fist bump them or something.
But it still killed them either way. So this continued for some minutes before the ground shook and the sea became more aggressive. All the monsters stopped their movements at once and stared at the endless ocean of water with looks of admiration and awe.
Saitama, seeing this, got curious and looked in the direction they had their attention in. What he saw there would scare any regular human to death. But not him, because he is Saitama, after all. The thing that was walking there was a giant rock monster that you would mistake for a mountain if you didn't look close enough.
In its left hand was a crudely made spikey mase. And standing at a whopping one thousand meters or maybe more, making Godzilla look like a child in comparison. With its piercing, glowing red eyes, this would certainly make any weak-willed human faint and maybe have a heart attack, then die.
This sudden appearance made another announcement in the siren saying it had increased the threat to the peak dragon level. So this gathered the attention of the other S-Class heroes.
And the first S-Class that arrived at the scene was Crusher. Staring at the giant monster that was slowly making its way to the shore. He shook his head, then looked at Saitama.
"Deal with that big guy while I fight this small fries." He said. "Don't you want to fight that guy?" Saitama said, pointing at the last boss. "My attacks cannot reach him." He said before swinging his huge hammer, taking out multiple rock monsters instantly.
Saitama just nodded his head before crouching and leaped high in the sky towards the last boss's shoulder. This was pretty easy to do considering the guy didn't notice him as he was too small in the guy's eyes.
But that all fell apart because as soon as he landed on his shoulder, the giant's piercing red eyes shifted into his. 'Hmm, he must have a detection skill of sort in him that lets him know if there is anyone that he didn't see land on him.' Saitama thought.
But he got interrupted to think anymore as the giant's mase made its way straight into him. Saitama simply just raised his arm to stop the attack, which unsurprisingly worked. Saitama then casually flicked the mase. (Like that flick bang made in that one episode where he invited Saitama into his dojo.)
Resulting in the mase having cracks form all over before disintegrating into nothingness. The monster, seeing that his weapon was of no use anymore, dropped the handle then swatted Saitama out of his shoulder, which didn't work, infuriating it more. So it raised his arm, then brought it down to his shoulder with enough force to level a city down to the ground.
Saitama just casually raised his arm like a nail that's about to be hammered to the floor and let it hit him. As his fist went through the arm of the monster, Saitama bent his knee slightly, then jump with an unimaginable force that made the giant lose balance and stumble down the ocean, making a tsunami.
Approaching the giant face, Saitama cocked his fist back, then launched it toward the monster's face. Not even hitting it, the Shockwave created by his punch killed the giant monster. Seeing their King has been defeated, the small fries morale reduced, which made it easier to finish them.
But the hero's side was still struggling, so Saitama just used his speed and strength to quickly and swiftly kill all the remaining small fries.
