Chapter 43: Chapter 42
In Triad industries their meeting room was filled with dead bodies and only one person was alive and it was Clarke son of Malivore as he was looking at their attacker who were 2 kitsunes, one of them looked like a teenage girl while the other was wearing an oni mask. Clarke kept a calm face, but internally he was panicking as he asked"Who are you and What do you want from me?"
Inko sneered and said, "Don't act all innocent son of Malivore, we know what you are."Clarke was surprised as he was sure he had hidden his shock quite perfectly as he asked"What do you want Kitsune?"
Inko smiled and said"I want my mother Tama no mae back, Don't deny it I know you are capable of bringing monsters back from the pit."
Clarke knew it was his father who controlled who came out of the pit as he asked"What do I get out of this little deal?"Inko smirked and replied, "I will help you unseal Malivore and even find your father's nemesis the hybrid."
Clarke wasn't surprised about the hybrid,he has been trying to find out who it was for quite a while,but all search came up empty,also he
wasn't sure about this alliance,but when he saw the Oni bring out a dagger he was slightly confused as Inko spoke"This is one of the keys to your father's prison.So now are you ready to form the alliance."
Clarke nodded and asked"I love too,but I am sure after toy get your mother out,you will still want your people to be free of my father's pursuit.So how could I trust you on whether this the actual key."
Inko was slightly annoyed,but kept it from showing on her face as she smiled and replied"We already checked it if this is real and all you need to do is throw this into Malivore's pit and then you will see."
Clarke nodded as he was still not sure,but hesitantly agreed,both agreed to the fact the Clarke will ask Malivore to not consume the Kitsunes because of their help.But another thing that worried Clarke was he found someone had come to there before and he found Seylah photograph,he really wanted to check all the previous employees,but it is restricted.Clarke agreed with Alliance for now.
Alex was now looking at the black dagger in his hand this was created by him personally of stopping him,if someone was able to take control of him or if he somehow turns rogue.It petrified the person completely it is the only thing that can prevent him from resurrecting, also he had checked the fact that a normal petrification spell doesn't affect him much.
Alex then thought about the vision he saw when trying out a precognition spell,it's a spell that lets you peek into the future, he had used it to find some clue about their enemies. But he saw something that bothered him. In the vision, his appearance was different as his face was covered with black veins and his eyes were fully blacked out. Alex also noticed the fact he and hope were on opposite sides and Hope in tears stabs him with the knife as everything blacks out.
Alex sighed as he was called by Caroline to meet their new resident Magical creature which is a unicorn basically it was a white horse with a horn sticking out of its head. Unicorns were considered pure and sacred creatures.
Alex had sensed something a miss in the unicorn,but he just couldn't put a finger on it,since this unicorn was emitting quite a dark feeling as he whispered"Something is wrong."as Alex quickly cast a barrier spell around it make sure nothing happened to it as Hope saw this and questioned"Why are you casting a barrier spell over it ?"
Alex frowned and said"Something just doesn't feel right about it,I mean unicorns are said to be very pure creatures.But I sense something wrong with this one."
Alex did purification spell and the unicorn in question went slightly crazy before something dropped from it's ear.
Alex scowled seeing that slug he recognized it from a picture from his grimoire as he quickly caught it,Hope looked slightly green asked"What was that thing?"
Alex looking at it explained"It is a supernatural creature that looks like worm enters a persons body thought ears or nose,it can replicate itself within its host, make their hosts susceptible to suggestion, and then finally kills the said host."
Hope was now worried and asked"Did you think anyone got it?"
Alex used psychic reading and found out Josie was here and by the looks of it,she seems to have gotten one inside her,Alex frowned and said"Let's find Caroline because if Josie is infected then possibility is half the school has it."
