When the female nine-headed monster appeared it began attacking Yue Yang who was the one close to it. It was on a rampage as it attacked him with all the elements it could muster.
Yue Yang only dodged the attacks since he was bounded by the rules of the tower. Although he was dodging the nine-headed monster attacks he wasn't sweating even a bit. After all, for him dodging those slow attacks was nothing.
It was so easy that he didn't pay attention to the nine-headed monster as he began looking at his beasts strategy.
They were divided into two teams one attacking the front while the other attacked from the rear.
Team Freya ( Freya, Ah-man, Gemma) was attacking it from the front while Team Luna (Luna, Lilith) was attacking from the rear.
As he watched them he couldn't help but admire Lilith blood clone. She has summoned a demon blood clone and if it wasn't for the bloody eyes and red skin it would have been confused as a real demon. They were using it as a meat shield since even if it received damage beyond it defense it would only turn into its liquid form and then reform after a while.

While Yue Yang and the other were distracting the nine-headed monsters the quintet golden mice were already near the eggs and were using a net to put all of them in it and transport it. The mice were very little so it took them a lot to move just an egg but since Yue Yang was distracting the mother and the others they have all the time of the world.
In the surface of the pond, the mother sensed that something was happening to her eggs but she couldn't get in the water as every time she turned to dive in Yue Yang would appear and block her path. This continued for so many times that the hydra was becoming more tired and exasperated.
It wasn't long before his beasts joined him as they had already killed the male and the other nine-headed monsters who weren't either young or adults.
Yue Yang, on the other hand, went to the corpse and began putting the blood in a container. He wanted to study this blood because of the nine-headed monsters ability to use nine elements. He wanted to see if he could erase the multiple head problem before using it for his research.
For now, that was what his experiment was about. He wanted to erase the negative effects of the blood then fuse only the good parts to form a definite race without flaws. A new race with infinite potential.
After collecting the blood he watched as his beasts took care of the female nine-headed monster. It didn't take too much time as the female was already tired after he played with it. He then collected the blood and gave some to Lilith.
As for the corpses he took one for research while he gave the others to the devourer and the thorny flower. Only these two ate what he offered them as for the others they didn't even take a look at the hydra meat and only wanted the cores.
It seemed like they were really too spoiled. If he was to offer them a demon corpse here he was sure that they will eat it in minutes. It looked like after they ate the demon king meat and evolved they became addicted to it.
After consuming all those corpses the Thorny flower leveled up by one while devourer leveled up and obtained a skill.
Water jet level two:
Shot water at the enemy.

Now what he was waiting was for the quintet golden mice to emerge but they were so slow that Yue Yang had to dive in the water and drag the eggs by himself.
After this episode, he decided to catch a water type beast or maybe he could hatch one of the eggs and contract it for times like this. He also wondered what will happen if he used the possession on a nine-headed monster, maybe he will have a loli with nine heads? Or maybe it will have only one head and snake tail like Xiao Wen Li?
After pondering about it he wasn't so sure about anymore. If it was the first scenario it will be very strange and as for the second one he was sure that the little lamia wouldn't like it. Just having other lolis with him had already made her feel challenged then what will happen if he had another little lamia? He didn't even want to think about it anymore.

Finally after taking what he was here for he left the place.
He then immediately headed to the mercenary inn to sell a young hydra as he was sure that if he was quick he would arrive there before that tigress.
After he arrived near the inn he made Xiao Wen Li take out a fainted hydra since he didn't want them to see her grimoire and cause turmoil.
When he entered the inn many mercenaries began looking at him and some wanted to approach him and ask questions about the beast in his hands but after he released a little of his aura no one approached him again. They made a path for him.
After he arrived at the mercenary group door he knocked.
"Who is it? " asked a girl in the room.
"I am here for the trade of the wisdom fruit and the lustrous branch for a young beast"
Hearing what he said the door immediately opened as a girl greeting him. She then guided him to a room where the whole mercenary group was.
When the mercenaries saw the hydra in his hands they were really excited. Fortunately, they didn't accept the offer of the one who came here with a special type beast.
They looked at Yue Yang with excitement in their eyes and then the leader stood up and asked,
"Can we control it before continuing the trade?"
Yue Yang nodded his head and said,
"Go ahead but it would be best if we do it quickly since I have a meeting."
The leader nodded then looked at one of his teammates who stepped forward and began inspecting the little hydra.
After looking at the hydra for a while the man exclaimed then looked at his leader and said happily,
"Captain we have to make the deal immediately! This beast is very young! It is at least only 2-3 months old!"
Hearing this the other too became excited. After all, they all knew that it was best to have a young best than an adult one.
If they were able to groom well this baby hydra their strength would increase by a large margin.
They immediately completed the contract and gave the two items to Yue Yang.
After finishing the contract the Captain couldn't help but ask,
"Excuse me do you other things that we can buy?"
The reason he asked was that he was sure that this man has more things on himself. After all who would sell a beast with so much potential just for two treasures that can be found in higher towers easily?
Yue Yang looked at then and smiled he then said,
"If you can afford it I'll sell you another one" Hearing his reply they were surprised. Does this mean that he has another one? That was what they thought before shaking their heads.
They already have a beast now and not counting what they paid for it if they count also the resources they need to nurture it they wouldn't be able to afford another one.
Even the idea of stealing his things never crossed their minds. For someone to say something like that casually without being worried only means two things. He was confident in his strength. Or he was stupid. But by looking at this man they were sure that he wasn't stupid.
So only the first option was the most possible and trying to rob someone like that was an utterly stupid idea.
They asked him to stay and have some conversations with them for some time but Yue Yang declined and said that he has a meeting before going out of the room after getting them.
As he was leaving the inn he could see a girl clad in plate armor with a greatsword on her back entering the inn.
Sensing Yue Yang gaze on her the girl looked at him.
When their eyes crossed each other Yue Yang smiled at her and then made a gentleman bow toward her before walking away.
The girl, on the other hand, seeing the smile and bow felt like she was tricked. But she didn't think about it anymore as she entered the inn.
