Chapter 32: Bet
The next day,
I was jogging when I found Gladion training his pokemon.
"Training you pokemon?" I asked coming towards him
"Yeah. You said you wanted to battle yesterday. How about we battle now?" Gladion asked
"Sure, why not" I agreed
"Want to bet?"
"What bet?"
"If I win this battle, you won't come near my sister, how about that?" that confirms it, he is a sis-con.
"But if you lose, you have to go to Lillie and make sure to never make her sad anymore" Not that I will lose this battle anyway with the bet you made.
"I agree"
"Me too
How about we have a two on two battle?" I proposed.
"I am ok with it" Gladion agreed
"Lycanroc, let's win this" Gladion said, taking out his midnight form lycanroc
"Rockruff, it your time to shine" I said taking out rockruff.
"Rockruff, use attract" I started the battle with attract so it could end easily but even in attracted state, lycanroc rise his hand and bite it, causing the pain to cancel attracts effects.
"How much have to trained your pokemon to get this much control even in this state" I said because I haven't seen any pokemon do it before, after coming to this world.
"Preety much" Gladion said
'Friday, how much time it will take my pokemon to reach this level?'
[All of your existing pokemon will reach this level in about an year ]

The battle continue with Rockruff using bite. Rockruff hits Lycanroc before being thrown away. Rock Throw is countered by Lycanroc's Stone Edge which hits Rockruff.
As Rockruff gets up, ready to battle, lycanroc use Stone Edge again hitting rockruff preety hardly.
"Rockruff, use your stone edge"
"Lycanroc, use Accelerock"
"Rockruff, use double team than use stomping tantrum" Rockruff hit a direct hit on lycanroc.
"Good move, your other moves used earlier didn't hit lycanroc and when you use stomping tantrum, it's power doubles if the previous moves didn't hit giving an insane power boost to this move" Gladion commented
"Thanks"
"Lycanroc use Giga impact"
"Oh-ho, rockruff use protect" the majority of damage was reduced because of protect but rockruff still got hurt by giga impact.
It it was a direct hit, it would have been over for rockruff.
"Rockruff, use stone edge than zen headbutt"
"Lycanroc, use rock throw and accelerock"
*Boom*
Both attacks collided, causing an explosion of power and making a cloud of smoke.
As the dust settled down, we saw lycanroc standing with putting a hand on ground while rockruff is unconscious. Looks like even if rockruff lost, she has done some serious damage to lycanroc.
"I am in the lead" Gladion said with a smirk
"Not for long
Blaziken, let's show him who is the boss here" I send out blaziken because she is also a fighting type so she will have advantage against his second pokemon whether it is Umbreon, Zoroark or his Type:Null.
"Lycanroc, start the battle with accelerock"
"Blaziken use feather dance than giga impact" blaziken lowered lycanroc's stats with feather dance and ended the battle in a single shot with giga impact.
"The scores are even now" I said with a smirk
"Not for long
Umbreon, let's end this quickly" Gladion sent out his Umbreon.
"Blaziken use feather dance"
"Umbreon, use dark pulse"
"Blaziken use dig"
"Umbreon you use dig too"
"Blaziken, wait for it than use bluk up and close combat" Umbreon broke the ground when she came flying out due to Blaziken's hit.
"Now Blaziken, use brick break"
"Umbreon, use confuse ray"
"Blaziken, destroy that ray with brick break"
"Umbreon, use shadow ball"
"Blaziken, use dig again"
"Umbreon you use dig too and this time when you spot Blaziken, strike with confuse ray"
"Blaziken, use flare blitz while you are still underground"
Both Blaziken and Umbreon came out of the ground.
"Preety impressive. You used flare blitz to attack Umbreon while you use its recoil so Blaziken can come out of her confused state even if she got hit by confuse ray" Gladion said
"Yep, that's pretty much it"
"Oh, what's more?"
"You will know soon
Blaziken use dig again"
"Umbreon you use dig too and this time, hit Blaziken with both shadow ball and confuse ray"
As soon as Umbreon used dig, she came out again.
"Umbreon what...
Oh, I understand now. You used flare blitz so Umbreon could not use dig because of the extreme heat underground" Gladion realised
"Yep, that's all"
"But soon, the temperature will cool down and Umbreon will be able to use it again"
"I know it will but I don't think that Umbreon will be able to continue till then"
"We will see about that, Umbreon use Iron tail on the ground with all of your power"
"Blaziken take that hit head on and use revenge" Blaziken just did that, landing a powerful direct hit on Umbreon.
"Finish it with brick break" I said this so Umbreon won't be able to keep standing.
The battle ended with this.
"It looks like I won"
"You surely did but I won't be able to complete the bet now"
"What do you mean?"
"I have to go to another location for now. It's important so I have to do it, sorry"
"No need to apologise but I think that you should at least visit Lillie one time. She was worried about you"
"I am sure she was and don't worry, I always keep my promises"
"Hope you do"
"Do you have the Rockium Z?"
"No, I don't"
"Than I recommend that you should visit Akala Island. You could get the Rockium Z from the island kahuna Olivia"
"Thanks for the info"
"I will be leaving now."
"Are you sure you don't want to meet Lillie?"
"I want to but I can't, right now"
"What's the matter?"
"I will tell you any other time" Gladion said before going to his way.
I think it's about Type:Null or should I say Silvally. He is trying to release him of his cage so he could fight against the Ultra Beasts. And maybe take revenge about his and Lillie's father and to recover Lillie from her fear of pokemon.
There are many possibilities but they are for future.
