Chapter 101: Arc 3, Chapter 11: A New Day

Her fingers shivered a smidgen as her jaw hung staring at the brunette across the room; who mirrored the blonde's face of confusion and distraught…

"No, no," Jotou absentmindedly verbalized, "That wasn't a dream… It can't be a dream," her narrowed eyes leaked tears drop by drop; the nails on her fingers long again.

"What can't be a dream?" Fumeko blinked next to Jotou's bed, in the pinafore she went to sleep with, "Did you have a nightmare?"

Jotou stared at Fumeko, like she was staring at a dead woman who came back to life… "Meko!" she leapt to hug her. Her arms nearly squeezed the life out of her.

"Hey! Hey… What happened?" Fumeko gently petted the golden hair. Jotou hung at the edge of the bed, holding onto Fumeko for dear life as she panted out the cries.

"Fumeko…" Jotou whimpered.

The corners of her lips curled up, "Well, I knew you had feelings for me too but I didn't know you liked me THIS much. Can't believe I was ever afraid to confess- I mean, who could deny me?"
