Chapter 3: Powers Awakening, Loss & Extinction & 1st Opponent
I finally became a year old and awoke my powers. Learning to fly was simple since my crystalline fur absorbed energy at a much faster rate than before. I even tested my energy and speed in space. Let's just say that I went from 3 times my father's size, to 5 times. I found out these creatures are the ancestors of the Kaiju that I knew of. They were nowhere near the size they will end up being but I also knew Godzilla took 252 million years to reach his size of almost 400 feet but since the invading kaiju were almost 600 feet, I'm just going to assume we'll be 50% larger to compensate for it.

Years went by with lost of sleep, increasing my golroth rate. Luckily I was able to travel to other planets. The near zero atmosphere on Mercury gave me such a boost I'm power I could hunt without sneaking up on my prey or having to worry about them being able to damage me.
My family slowly moved away to follow the herds of prey that they needed, but none of them were able to awaken their genes to become a Kaiju, leaving me all alone. I understood, I ate to much for them to live, so I went out on my own. I was getting closer to being able to survive on energy alone. But not yet. I could go for months without eating anything, but when I finally had to eat I ate alot.

As the years went by, my family members fell, 1 after another to other creatures. Some by bigger carnivores, some by herbivores during unlucky hunts. Finally, after 20 years, my mother was the last one alive. She was never going to awaken the mutant gene and she knew it. Our species was a failed Kaiju line. We never would have journeyed to middle earth. Even so, I'm the last of my kind after burying my mother. At 20 years old I'm 20 feet tall and 40 long not including my tail. I was designed for speed and maneuverability, and with my other powers I'm was a hard hitter too.
Time went on with me finally being able to survive without having to eat anything. I decided it was time to take a long nap. I went to the cave system I was born in. The cave I exposed in my youth was more than big enough for me to live in safely. I moved a giant boulder into the entrance and lay down and closed my eyes, knowing I'd probably sleep for a million years or 2.

I finally woke up feeling major tremors in the ground. I moved my door and stepped outside to see massive ash clouds billowing into the sky way into the distance. I flew into the air noticing a difference on my body. I had a crystal forming on each of my shoulders, black in color of course. I realized this was my Space Godzilla genes coming into play. I didn't mind since I knew it was just a reserve and amplification of my powers so it was different, a welcome one.
I flew way up in the sky noticing the clouds were probably the extinction event I was waiting for. This would be the start of the Kaiju races. Only myself and Godzilla were able to evolve before this event, but we've never run into each other. Until this event.
I looked down from my position in the sky and saw him in the distance, staring at the same clouds I was. He looked at me, floating in the sky. After a minute I started to fly towards him, eventually landing a good distance away and sitting down. We stared at each other for a full minute before we looked at the distant ash cloud again. We were actually born on the same day so there was no age seniority between us. We just understood that fighting will do nothing for us.
After an hour, the cloud spread to cover the sun and we both glanced at each other and casually walked off in our own directions. This was the major turning point of this time-line. 2 Alphas, of different species, working together, not trying to suppress each other came to an understanding. They would stay out of each other's hair, but when any invaders came to their world, they would have no issues with working together. And they would, they'd both make calls to each other to defend their world. They split the duties on land but the ocean was primarily Godzillas domain while the sky and space was mine.

This was the system we used for millions of years, and when 1 of us took one of our our long naps, the other would take over full duties. Eons passed and dinosaurs finally came to be. Unfortunately for them we were both in the 350 foot height range, not even mentioning our length. They were annoying frogs to us, their teeth couldn't even scratch our skin. I knew it was coming up on the time the invaders would open the first portal and wipe the planet, breaking Pangea and wiping alot of life out. So I told Godzilla that we should both sleep for a few million years, nothing was going on and the dinosaurs were not worth protecting in either of our eyes. He agreed with me, so we slept in Middle Earth for 5 million years. When we woke up, life was just coming back and we much preferred this life to the last.
61 million years til the portal opens again...
1 million years later...
Godzilla and I noticed a new enemy that we couldn't just beat into submission. We were going to have to fight this opponent til one side dies. If we won, life would go on, even if only 1 of us survives. If we lose, Earth will be wiped from the cosmos.
Our opponent?
King Ghidorah!
