Chapter 11: Chapter 11

At Cafe Stile, Maika, the resident 'Sadist' stereotype, could be seen serving a customer while sighing. She gave the customer the menu with a disappointed look, remembering that she forgot to get the LINE of a certain customer yesterday. However, the customer she was serving seemed to enjoy her appearing that way.

As the customer was about to place their order, Maika left to go to the bar table without taking it. Strangely, the customer seemed to enjoy this, but we couldn't understand why. Only a fellow man of culture would get it.

Maika then kept waiting at bar table for the food that the costumer 'ordered' to cook, She sit on the chair placing her head at top of bar table sighing without a beat.

Mafuyu, the resident Imouto stereotype, approached Maika.

"Oi oi, stop sighing! That's bad for business," Mafuyu reminded Maika, her tone indicating that such behavior was annoying.

Mafuyu nodded and says "Though I kind of understand where are you coming from but focus on serving the costumer"

Hearing Mafuyu's words, Maika regained some energy and said, "I will."

With the order of the customer finished, Maika stood up and slapped her face lightly, muttering to herself, "We will meet again." She sensed that he would be coming soon, though she didn't yet know when.

Maika pick up the tray but before she could bring it to the waiting costumer she heard Kaho the resident Tsundere stereotype call someone familiar

"Welcome! Oh, Kamisato-san, you're here again," Kaho waved to Kamisato Oreki.

"Speak of the devil," Mafuyu said beside Maika.

"Chop chop, Maika, your customer is waiting for the food," Mafuyu reminded Maika again of the first priority.

Maika brought the tray of food to the customer.

"Here is your order," Maika said to the customer.

The customer fidgeted and said, "But I didn't order yet, though."

Maika's face changed. "Tsk, just be grateful and stop wasting my time." Maika meant it literally. She seemed to forget that it was just roleplay, but this customer was different—he was panting like a dog right now.

She walked back to the bar table and watched how Oreki and Kaho interacted.

---

Entering Cafe Stile, I heard Kaho greeting me, but then she realized it was me. I greeted her back but decided to use her first name to see her reaction.

"Hello, Kaho-san."

"Oh, first-name basis already, and it seems you already want to flirt with me other than Maika, Oreki-san," Kaho said out loud for Maika to hear.

"Tsk," I think I heard Maika click her tongue. Her inner sadist was manifesting; there was a high chance she was going to have a Jojo stand in the future.

"That was a funny reaction from you, Maika," Kaho laughed lightly, then looked at me and said, "Come, Oreki-san, let me take you to a vacant table."

But before we proceeded, Kaho noticed the things that I was carrying. Reading the wiki in my past world, I knew Kaho-san was a Gamer Tsundere.

"Are those the Sony and Nintendo consoles?" Kaho was shocked to see them.

"Yes, I just bought these for myself and family members at home," I said with a smile to her. "Are you perhaps a gamer too?" I questioned.

"Even if I know that these are the latest Sony console called PlayStation 5 and Nintendo's latest handheld console Switch, it doesn't mean I'm a gamer, hmph," she did the tsundere thing.

"Well, that is true, though. That's a shame then; I was hoping we could play online or offline from time to time," I faked disappointment, then looked at her, noticing her nervous glances around.

"Kaho-san, please lead me to the table. I'm quite hungry right now," I changed the topic to help her decide if she was going to give me her online account ID for PS5 and Switch.

"Ah, yes, come on, follow me," she looked at me, and I followed her.

She kept looking back at me and the things that I was carrying from time to time.

After settling down and placing my things on the table, Kaho handed me the menu while still looking at me and my console. I think she wanted to talk about games, but I decided to order food first.

"I want the hamburger steak and curry, Kaho-san," I handed back the menu to her.

"Please wait for the food to be cooked," she took the menu and left to inform the chef about the order.

"I can wait all day, Kaho-san," I said understandingly.

---

Walking back to the bar counter, Kaho told the chef about the new order. While she waited, she started thinking about how to give her PSN ID or Switch ID to Oreki, but she didn't want to make it look like she was in dire need of gamer friends to hang out with.

Kaho's musing got interrupted or startled when Maika, with an empty look in her eyes, approached her from behind. That was kind of dangerous if you ask.

Anyway, Kaho looked back at Maika and nervously asked, "What is it, Maika-chan?"

"Nothing, I just want to know what you and Oreki-san are talking about," Maika said, still with empty eyes.

"We are talking about the things he bought here in Akihabara, nothing much really," Kaho said to Maika while trying to avoid looking at her eyes.

"Oh, is that it? Then why are you nervous, Kaho? Do you like him too?" Maika looked Kaho in the eyes with intensity.

Kaho blushed. "No, no, no, don't misunderstand; I just want a guy friend, nothing more than that yet," Kaho waved her hands, hoping for Maika not to catch that last word.

"I see, I understand then," Maika sighed in relief, though she really didn't. What an airhead. "I thought we were going to be rivals."

Kaho nervously laughed. The chef finished cooking and told Kaho to bring it to the customer.

Kaho picked up the tray and walked to where Oreki was sitting.

---

I heard all of that, by the way, and I think all the people here heard it. I will tell them before leaving because I want to eat in peace.

Kaho brought the food to the table and said, "Thank you for waiting," with a smile.

"Oh, it's about time; I'm quite famished already, waiting here," I said this for real. I could maybe graft the concept of being hungry to random objects I see, but I chose not to. Being the Lord of the Mysteries without restrictions makes things easy.

But it seemed like Kaho still wanted to do something before I ate, so I asked, "Are you going to do something like Maika-san did yesterday? If you are, then you don't have to do it for me."

She started acting tsundere as soon as I said that, saying, "Hmph, I'm just doing this because it's a café policy. It's not like I want to do it for you, hmph."

She was right, though; I'll give her that. After she left me to myself, I prayed to myself and began to enjoy my food. Heh, praying to myself, quite a narcissist, am I?
