Chapter 27: Chapter 26:Fire Dungeon, part 1
After dragging every Wytherns into my Inner World and also carefully carrying the eggs inside to, I took the Wytherns into the now tall hills area of my Inner World because I think that it'll grow into a mountain one day.
Since I didn't have anyway to contain them, I placed slave crest on every Wytherns. This wasn't a permanent solution since they'll probably most likely going to be eaten while the babies will have to be slave crested every cycle.
While I was painting the slave crest onto the unconscious Wytherns, I saw the witches take some golems and used the portal I made to explore the Wythern's mountain. After I finished drawing the slave crests, I went to check on the witches.
Going throw the portal, I saw that the witches were using the golems to mine and look for mineral. Which is useless since they had me.
Eva:No this is a good thing.
Shomei:How? Can't I just make it?
Eva:Yes, but I recommend the User use this world's resources whenever making a transaction here. Setting up a mine here could yield minerals that could be sold or used to make something to be sold. Plus, the Wytherns The User took most likely kept others from mining here and is probably the reason the towns nearby let the witches have this territory since they couldn't use it themselves.
Shomei:... I should probably ask the witches when they need to make potions for the neighboring towns to keep their agreement going.
Eva:Yeah, we should keep this land.
Shomei:"Hey Esmeraldà!"
Esmeraldà:"Yes?"
Shomei:"When do you guys send potions to the neighboring towns? I would like to keep your guys agreement with them for the land"
Esmeraldà:"I think in 8 days. Although we have most of the potions made already, we still have to make some more if you really want to keep are agreement with them"
Shomei:"Don't worry about that, just tell me what potions and how many potions you guys need. All you guys need to do is transport the potions"
Esmeraldà:"Ok, we need 5 boxes or 100 low grade potions"
Shomei:"Oh, Ok" Saying that I made the 5 boxes they needed.
Esmeraldà:"... I'll tell the others and we'll deliver the potions"
Shomei:"Ok, thanks"
Esmeraldà:"No problem"
Shomei:"Also I'm going to start a mine here. Take back the golems, I'm going to make new ones made for mining"
Esmeraldà:"Ok, but we're going to use them for picking herbs for now"
Not wanting to make the herbs myself. Shomei:"Ok, just don't lose any"
Esmeraldà:"Ok, don't worry we'll won't"
Leaving the Wythern's nesting area, I look for a good location to start mining.
Finding a cave near the top of the mountain, I made a small fireball in my hand before exploring inside.
Walking down the tunnel, I reached a room filled with bones.
Walking up closer, the bones formed a skeleton of a Wythern.
Finding more Wythern skeletons. Shomei:"Is this like their cemetery?"
Eva:Most likely.
Shomei:"Although I can always make lesser dragon bones, I should tell the witches about these. They can probably use it for something"
Walking past all the skeletons, I found another tunnel that went further down.
While walking down the tunnel, I reached a large metal double door with a bunch of runes carved into it.
Shomei:"What's this?"
Eva:I think this is a sealing type dungeon.
Shomei:"Sealing type?"
Eva:Dungeons can be created in multiple ways but they all have one thing in common; they have a large magic core or source powering it and from the looks of the runes, the magic source is probably something sealed inside. It's either a trial for a magical item or a seal for a magical cursed item.
Shomei:"Will there be treasure?"
Eva:Depends on the creator of the dungeon, but most people take the corpses of whatever is inside.
Shomei:"Seeing as no one has probably visited here, I doubt that there is anything living inside"
Eva:No, but some dungeon might have an ecosystem inside or use the magic from it's magical item to produce or summon spirit or creatures. For example, if the magic item is evil or cursed. Usually undead spirits or creatures are made.
Shomei:"What do you think is inside"
Eva:Something related to fire, judging from some of the runes on the door.
Shomei:"Really? I thought that the door would be red if that was the case"
Eva:...
Shomei:"Well whatever, lets see what's inside"
Putting my hand out to opening the door, the runes on the door started to glow before a large light enveloped me.
