William breathed painfully as he tried to move his body, but it was to no avail.
No matter what he did, he could not gather any strength to even move his finger. He was like an oil lamp that had burned all of its fuel reserves, and could no longer produce light.

William's clones couldn't move from their position because the moment he chose to manually charge Soleil, all of them could no longer move from their position. If someone broke out of the formation, the other clones would receive a backlash and ruin everything that they had worked up until now.
Just as Wiliam was thinking of how to deal with the current situation, two adorable faces appeared in his line of sight.
William blinked as he looked up at the two pink-haired girls that were looking down on him while munching on gummy bears.

Elyon I will try to explain how the "Memory Burning" rule of the Einherjar Job Class works in the simplest way possible.
First, think of every world like a wooden barrel. Asgard is one wooden barrel, Earth is one wooden barrel, and Hestia is another wooden barrel.
Now, think of William's memories as water. When William lived in each of those worlds, the water inside the barrel accumulated over time, which represents his memories of that world.
The Einherjar Job Class erases the memories of Wiliam's past life, which are the memories he has of Earth. This Job Class pokes a hole in the Earth Barrel, which makes it lose the water (memories) inside it.
As I explained earlier, each world is like a wooden barrel. So if he hops from the Hestia Barrel to the Earth Barrel, any memories he makes will go into the Earth Barrel, and not the Hestia Barrel.
As he makes memories on Earth, what he is doing is merely adding more water to the barrel that is constantly losing its water contents.
I know that some of you will say "Author, don't be like this. This happened in the present and not in the past life, so it shouldn't be counted as the memories that should be erased!"
Well, now that I have given the explanation about the wooden barrels, I won't elaborate further on this point.
Lastly, I ask that you guys should have more faith in me because I also want a happy ending. It is not an exaggeration to say that I am doing my best to wrap up this Fairy Tale with an ending that will be remembered for years.
When I say Fairy Tale, I'm just not talking about Belle's Arc, but the entire story as a whole.
I hope that the explanation I have given will prevent you guys from trying to find my address in order to stab me with a kitchen knife. This author still has many stories to write, so don't kill me off just yet.
