Chapter 6: I'M MARRIED 2

Anna arrived at the bureau earlier than planned as she waited in there. She still didn't think getting married to this man was a good idea but at the moment this was a good idea. At the moment there's no difference between her and the people sleeping on the streets only that she had a car and it's not safe for a woman to sleep in the streets in a car. Anything can happen.

She needed food, shelter and money and she doesn't have any of those at the moment.

She sighed and stared out the door when she noticed a man in black suit walking up to her. He was tall with broad shoulders and thick hair. His muscles were well defined matching his chiseled face.

He had a commanding presence like no other as he walked in elegantly. Though he was wearing sunglasses, it didn't hide that he was staring at her. Her heart started beating again.

When she saw Noah this morning, he looked familiar so she wondered where she had seen him. It's only now she remembered she had met him at a ball years back, then he wasn't as scary as now.

She rose from where she sat taking in deep breath to calm her nerve as she saw him walk up to her.

"Noah Declan." She muttered as he was now standing right in front of her.

Noah took out his glasses, his dark cold eyes meeting hers. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting for long?" He asked and she shook her head.

"I only just arrived." He smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes as he gestured his hands forward. "This way then Miss Sui." Anna followed suit.

In less than thirty minutes Anna walked out of a room with her marriage certificate in her hands. She couldn't believe it. She was a married woman but it wasn't to Mack, she was someone's else's wife. Something she never thought she could become.

Anna didn't know what to feel. She was excited at the same time sad. She felt happy she was married, especially to someone like Noah Declan. The man was a powerful man and above all he looked genuine. He didn't look like someone that had the time for love or any of the things Mack wanted from her.

She would take revenge on Mack and Nari once she bounce back up again. They can enjoy their little victory while it lasts cause she'll be back and make them beg for their lives.

"I don't believe in married people leaving separately. I'm giving you two days to move in with me." Noah said and Anna nodded.

Once Noah and Anna made their verbal agreement, Anna got out of his car over to hers leaving Noah with his driver and assistant who was seated in the passengers seat.

"Sir now you're married to miss Sui, should we tell your family about it?" The man asked.

"Leave that to me, follow her and tell me about her whereabouts." The man nodded and left the car. Just accepting his proposal seemed all suspicious to him and he wanted to know why she suddenly agreed to be married to him. Something must have gone wrong.

As part of the entertainment industry, Noah knew a few things about Anna Sui. Her name was all over the net two years ago for the most scandalous thing anyone could ever do. She was blacklisted and had disappeared from the internet only to find her on his bed this morning.

If he hadn't taken that drink from Cara he wouldn't be in this state. He knew she added something to the drink and he was glad he left the club when he did. The last thing he wanted was to have sex with that crazy woman.

As the next heir to the Declan's empire, women's desire for a man of his status and standard wasn't a new thing. These desperate women would go to any length to be with him and he knew all of these that's why he has been careful.

Noah sighed. He was married now. At least his family can finally let him breathe.

Anna got back in her car to seat for a while taking out her sunglasses to stare at her reflection through her rear view mirror. She couldn't believe she would have the boldness to be married to a complete stranger some day but she was glad she was married.

She took out her sunglasses tossing it on the passenger seat and suddenly started laughing. She was mocking herself and what she had become. She had given her all to Mack to only find out he never loved her. Just right then her laughs turned into tiny subs with time.

The weight of the day had finally pressed her, it felt suffocating. She couldn't have guessed her perfect life would turn this way overnight.

'What has happened has happened Anna don't you regret it. Mack and Nari will pay for it.' She wiped her tears at her thought and just as she was about to start the car engine her phone rang.

"What do you want?" Anna's stern and cold voice shocked the caller.

"I told you you would regret leaving Anna didn't I? Let's see how long you'll last on the streets." Mack voice rang from the other end but Anna said nothing to him.

"I was ready to accept you back Anna but you broke our engagement yourself." He continued.

"Soon it'll be all over the news, "The Notorious Anna Sui' run from home after her broken engagement with Mack Yong", Anna could feel her blood boil at his words.

"You'll be done for, just watch and see. I will ruin you Anna and even if you go back to your family now and tell them you want me back, I'll never accept you again." He said but Anna still said nothing to him.

"Don't call or disturb this line again Mr Yong. We've broken up remember. It looks like you're the one going crazy after our break up cause I've moved on." She chuckled.

"And say hello to your new wife and child." Anna hung up and drove off.

She opened her message to see the address Noah had sent to her, she quickly turned on her map and started driving to the location. She would get her things from Mack's house another day but tonight, after having one hectic day she needed rest.
