Chapter 2: Her Humming Had Summoned Him

The day came to its peak and the classes soon ended. The assigned cleaners for the day immediately escaped their responsibilities because they know that Lianna would clean the classroom as always.

Lianna was still sitting in her desk and when the noisy crowd was gone she started counting from 1 to 100 before her shoulders which is raised together with her head hung low like a coward slowly relaxed.

Her shoulders went back to their original position as her head stretched up revealing her fabulous neck. Her poise changed very quickly which is very different compared to the one a moment ago.

She stood up, took the broom and started cleaning the room as always. When she is cleaning she is always precise as she clean off every speck of dust from every corner of their classroom.

She also had a habit of humming a song whenever she clean to liven up the atmosphere. Her melodious voice then filled the air.

She arranged the chairs neatly in a row one by one. She stood up in front of the classroom to see if there's anything that is out of place before nodding her head in satisfaction.

Now there is only one thing left and that is the chalkboard. She took the eraser and started cleaning the blackboard. When she is not all crouched down she is actually pretty tall making it easy for her to reach the top of the board.

While she's busy cleaning the board she didn't know that a pair of dark eyes was staring intently at her back. He stood outside the classroom looking at her in front the door.

She didn't know that her humming had summoned him.

His eyes was as deep as the dark loopholes in the galaxy sucking anyone who makes an eye contact with him. His brows was knitted into a knot looking at her back.

Grey felt like he is looking at the one he had never seen for a long time now. The girl who made him have those nightmares every night and also the one who made him feel a lot of things at the same time.

A minute later Lianna heard a loud footsteps outside and she immediately tensed up. Her shoulders was lifted and her head sunk in between them. Her humming stopped.

She then finished cleaning and put the eraser back to it's rightful place.

"Bro! It's done finally! Tomorrow we can already start coming here regula--- ump! Hmmm!!!"

Before he could even finish speaking he was suddenly dragged into an unknown corner while his mouth is covered with a strong pair of arms.

'The world! What's going on?'

When Grey thought that they are already far from the classroom he released his arms that had almost choked Andrew out of his wits.

He kept on cursing and struggling until he was released.

"The world Grey! What was that for?! Wack! I almost got murdered by you!"

He was gasping for a lot air feeling that the air was actually a beautiful thing to appreciate. He glared at Grey but immediately turned his head away like a dog with its tail in the middle of its legs.

Grey looked at him with his cold pair of black eyes emitting an aura that he could snap his head at any minute.

'What is wrong now? I just got out a minute later than him! What happened in that minute?'

Andrew keep on spinning his brain looking for an excuse to calm his own heart.

'Maybe.. yeah maybe he just tripped or he saw something he didn't like.... or he was just in his period again!'

He patted his own head advising himself that he is the normal one while Grey has mental issues. 'Poor me. Poor me for having a brother this scary!'

His actions made Grey lift up his brow and his eyes suddenly transformed into daggers  that shot down on Andrew's back without any mercy.

Andrew felt suffocated and his back was burning so he turned around to look at Grey only to feel like he is facing the demon king.

"Stop looking at me like that! Are you finally disposing me? Don't you like me anymore? What in the world did I even do to make you this angry?!"

"Tch."

Grey then turned around and disappeared in a minute leaving Andrew dumbstruck.

'The world!'

...

At the Woodville.

Grey drove back leaving Andrew behind. He suddenly got a headache thinking about the past. When he entered the mansion he was welcomed by the maids one by one until he reached his room.

He shutted his door so loudly that it startled all the maids cleaning. He went straight to his bed and let himself fall like a leaf.

He lifted his arms and pressed his head. He felt like it was going to split in any second. He gritted his teeth tried to calm himself down.

He hated it. He was fine these past few years but what is happening now? Why did he suddenly remember her again?

Her humming voice keeps on replying on his head making his headache worse. He closed his eyes and let himself fall asleep.

After a while Andrew arrived home late. His eyes are burning with anger when he looked upstairs in Grey's room.

'That ungrateful brat left me all alone at school not bothering to look back for a second! Arg!'

He disheveled his hair out of frustration then went back to his own room.

*Baam!*

The maids are left dumbfounded at the scene their Young Master's had left.

'First Young Master came home with a bad temper and now Second Young Master looked like he's..'

The maids stood at their spots while glancing at Andrew's door then to Grey's door which sadly had the same fate. They could only sympathy to their room doors which had been mistreated. They suddenly felt like they have seen something that only appears once in a blue moon.
