Out of slumber
The truth feels like shrapnel on my skin
The brightness of the morning's nowhere to be seen
Oh why? I'm just an ordinary girl
Looking up to the wonders of the world
But why?
Things like sickness and sadness exist?

I close my eyes to see the kaleidoscope of my memories…

I've tried to reach that farfetched moment of peace
The places and faces of dear ones I'd miss

Fighting the pain and disappointments
Feeling the pressure of reality
