Chapter 2: AMALIA
Immediately the voice said that, Amelia started feeling everything going in circles and a banging headache coming with it, when she finally saw light, Amelia ran towards with all her might hoping to reach it and escape from the eerie darkness.
"Lia, Lia, wake up already, are you not making us worried enough."A gentle voice called out through the light, after much struggle, Amelia was finally able to get a hold of the light.
At the hospital, Amelia eyes opened to see a strange environment, She hurriedly stood up from where she laid to observe her surroundings, but laid back down leisurely after taking note that it is a hospital.
"Lia, you are finally awake, I was so worried about you." A figure burst through the door wailing loudly, Amelia decided to ignore thinking it is Mia's usual antics again, but was surprised when the usual Marcus yell of support did not follow it after it making Amelia raise her head to see an unfamiliar figure rushing towards her with tears at the corner of the person's eyes.
Who is this? Where was she? this person seemed to be close to her because of the tone of endearment she used, but why don't I know her? Amelia questioned herself deciding to be quiet while she watched the figure to know if she was an enemy or a friend.
"What sort of insolence is this? Your sister greets you, and you respond with a cold shoulder, who do you think you are!!!" An elderly man shouted from the door of the ward.
"Father, don't shout at sister, sister just woke up, she might be still muddled up." The so-called sister sobbed like she had been bullied.
Amelia watched the father and daughter duo with confusion, but then her mind went back to the deal she made when she died, could it be she really reincarnated? But why is she in a different place, how would she have her revenge if she does not know where Marcus and Mia is.
While Amelia thought of a way to get back at Marcus and Mia, the elderly man yelled again "AMALIA!!!, apologize to your sister this instant!!!", Immediately the name 'AMALIA' was called a pang of headache shot at Amelia again causing her to faint then a sharp scream resounded throughout the ward.
Amelia was back in darkness again only this time, it did not have the same foreboding feeling as before.
Like a movie before her eyes, memories that were not her own flashed before her eyes in a hurry, then Amelia started to piece everything together.
Apparently, the Amalia of a girl is an orphan that happened to be picked up by the Johnsons from the roadside but the Johnsons only daughter, Marcy is not really secure enough to accept another person into the house and made sure to paint Amalia as a bad person in front of her adopted parents making them send her to the countryside from when she was 10 currently Amalia was 21 years old same age as Amelia and surprisingly they were born in the same month and on the same day.
Even though the memories flashed before Amelia, Amalia's face never showed throughout and a huge chunk memories from when Amalia went to the countryside, it was on her way back Amalia had an accident that caused her to be hospitalized, seems that is where the memory ended.
Amelia woke up this time around to see a haggard woman sitting by her bedside while holding her hands seemingly to be muttering some prayers to whom the recipient was unknown.
Amelia eyes softened seeing the old woman, this was the person that stood by Amalia side even when her parents refused to believe her.
Amelia then had a thought that made her smirk, what if she was done with Marcus and Mia then there would be no one to toy with, it would be nice giving this messed up family a little clean up.
At that thought Amelia decided to help the meek Amalia take revenge, "Sister!" Marcy shrieking voice called out again making Amelia ear feel a loud bomb was dropped beside it.
"Can you please reduce your voice!!" Amelia snapped at Marcy angrily because this fellow reminded her of the person she believed to be her best friend, Mia.
At first when Amelia and Marcus got married, Mia was just a friend she happened to meet at that time because she was weak and poor, Mia had been rejected by many agencies that she had applied to, because in the entertainment world connection was the only thing that ruled and since Mia had none, Amelia decided to take Mia under her wings and train her to the superstar she is today, only for Mia to pay back with betraying her trust.
And as for her husband Marcus, Amelia felt that it was her fault, she had seen several signals but choose to blindly trust him only in the name of love but not only did he steal her properties and money, Marcus also took one important thing away from her that she would never forgive him for, and that is HER CHILD.
"Sister, sorry, it is all my fault that you fainted back there, the doctor said that you were frightened." Marcy said before pausing then bowed her head looking down at the white hospital tiles with tears gathered in her eyes.
"You don't have to apologize if don't want to, don't just blame dad about it instead blame me." Marcy whimpered like someone that has been beaten heavily by the rain when the door slide open showing a woman wearing a worried face entering inside, it is Mrs Johnson.
"You just came back and you are already causing trouble for your sister, and I thought your father and I warned you not to come back to see her." Mrs Johnson said as the first part of the sentence was for Amelia and the other part was for Marcy.
"But mom, she is my sister of course I want to see her." Marcy cried pitifully while Mrs Johnson patted her back glaring at Amelia who shrugged and turned back to the old woman who has stopped her prayer and was staring intensely at Amelia that it was starting to feel awkward.
As soon as the mother and daughter left the old woman said something that made shock reverberate through Amelia body, "You are not Amalia, are you?" The woman asked after sometime studying the girl laying on the bed with doubt filled face and a murderous intent.
