Chapter 2: CHAPTER-2 (GOING TO RAKESH'S HOUSE)
We went out of the hospital and Rakesh's Hyundai car was waiting for us to ride on it. We reached the police station in 15 minutes. The police station was very old, but also a big one.The name of the police station was Golmuri police station. We went to the police station. There were many constables and some senior police officer. The head police officer was sitting on the chair. At first he didn't notice us but when he heard Mr Rakesh's voice, he got up from his chair. He came towards Mr Rakesh and then he greeted him. I was surprised to see it and was in a confused state. But later I got to know that the police officer (Raghav) was Mr Rakesh's childhood friend. Police officer asked Mr Rakesh "what brought you here after so long." Mr Rakesh replied " Its about finding home of a lost child."
Then Mr Rakesh narrated the whole story. Police officer told him "that's a sad story. don't worry kid we will try our best to find your home but at first you have to fill up the FIR."
We filled up the FIR and then Mr Raghav told us to wait for some minutes as he was busy listening problem of another people that I hadn't noticed. I could hear their conversation.
They were total 3 people. One middle aged man and a middle aged lady who was crying and a boy of age 15. As I heard from their conversation that the man, the lady and the boy are a family and their girl child have been lost. They couldn't find her since 5 days, it was their 5th time coming to police station. They also told that the day before she got lost, she was behaving weird. As they were going to tell more the police(Raghav) stopped them and he came to us and told us that he would try to find my family but then he asked "where wil you stay untill then?". I haven't thought about this that I don't have any home to stay nor do I have any memory. I started to fill nervous. Then Mr Rakesh told "he will stay in my house, my house is not small, we don't have any problem if he stay." Then Raghav told "okay if he wants to stay in your house and you don't have problems if he stays then it would be great. So I have to go now. Some problems came upto me."
Then he hurried off to his desk. As he went I thought that the glass of kindness of Mr Rakesh for me came upto it's brim and burden of his kindness is increasing that I could not repay him to that extend.
As we were going to his house, I asked how many family members does he have. Then replied " we are 6, me, my wife, our daughter and .." as he was going to say something, I interrupted him "your father,mother and your grandfather I think." Then he told "I wish they were with me." I felt sorry for interrupting him. And as I was going to appologies. He some how read through me and told "there is nothing to be sorry for and now I have Ishita's mother and father who are like my mother and father too. And she also have a sister who is studying in 9 th standard." Then as we were talking I couldn't understand when we reached his home.
Mr Rakesh house was in Indira Kumar karnami Street ,Jamshedpur. It was 20 minutes away from the police station. It was little bit away from the main town. There were many shops and many houses also mostly of two storied and Mr Rakesh house was three storied. It was newly built house with green colour paint on it. When we reach his house is it was almost 10 a.m. As I have already told you that his house was very big but his family is a small so so I asked him " wow your house is so big but your family is small so why have you build this huge house." then he replied "I have a wish that one day my family will also be huge and and for that I have build this House."
As we entered the house Mr Rakesh's wife was in front of the gate waiting for her husband along with her, her mother was also standing they welcomed us. Mr Rakesh's father in law was not with them. Ishita's mother knew about me and my memory loss. she told me "don't be shy, think as if this is your house." Before hearing her I was feeling little bit of uncomfortable and shy to enter the house and as she told me, I entered the house. she told me "you are lucky that you have come out of coma only after 2 months there are many peoples that don't come out of coma after many years and you all must be tired so let me bring some lemon Juice." then she went to kitchen.
We went to a room where Ishita's father was watching TV. I greeted him and he gave me his blessings.He told me that he had heard about my memory loss and then he asked me "if you don't find your family, what would you do, where would you go?" then I replied "I don't know what to do, where to go, but I know that I have been reborn with this beautiful life and with kind people like you all and I would not waste my my life. I will live my life to the fullest extent. I know I don't have money, house, family...". then Mr Rakesh interrupted me "who told you that you don't have a family, now you are a part of our family.Until you don't get your family and don't worry if you don't you get your family we will be your family and father don't ask him these questions." his father give a smile and told "I wanted him to hear all this from you, so that he don't feel like he is in a home of stranger." I was so happy at that moment that tears rolled down from my eyes automatically and it was tears of happiness and it was the first time I was crying as I remembered till now.
Then they showed me my room, it was a room of medium size, it had a large dressing mirror, a tube light and a night lamp. It was an ideal room for sleeping as it was a cool room and it was mid of summer but in this room you could not understand which season it is was. I was really happy to get this room. Then ishita's mother came and gave me lemon juice and some snack, as I completed eating, I saw someone was moving outside my room, as she passed by my room I saw her for the first time and as I saw her my heartbeat started to beat more vigorously. I could not understand why, but I think it was the feeling of seeing a girl of my age for the first time, although I couldn't see her properly. she was wearing a red top and blue hot pant. I saw her face for few seconds and I was attracted towards it I could not give the definition of a face as I could not see it for much time but wanted to see it once more then then I asked ishita who was she then she replied she is my sister then she wishpered something into Mr Yadav ears which I could also hear " you must scold her this time knowing that a guest is going to come to our house and wearing this type of dress then she looked at me and told "if she says something to you just ignore her and tell it to me" then I told "okay". after few minutes they went out of the room.
It was the first day in someone's house so I was bit nervous and shy so I didn't step out of the room except lunch and dinner where I went to dining room. When I went to have lunch, I saw her clearly this time she wasn't wearing red top but pink top and blue jeans. She was having fair complexion, black hair not really black as some portion it was brown as she has use hair dyes, her eyes were small and pretty. She used pink lipstick. Her age might be 16 or 17. She was listening to music. As I was staring at her then she noticed me and our eyes made for the first time. She told me in rude tone "what are you looking at. Haven't you seen a girl earlier. Yes she was right, it was the first time I saw a girl of my age so beautiful. Then she told "why are you here, don't you have your own home". Then her sister interrupted "Mega why are you being rude to him say sorry". Then Megha said "no. I didn't ask anything bad I only asked, why he was here". Ishita said you "don't you know what happened to him and haven't we told you earlier. have you forgotten your culture and manners.What to say and not to say when guest is there.How to behave with a guest". Then she said " yes I know you don't have to remind me". Then as she was going to say something she stop in her mid way and told "I know you were not like this earlier and and why have you became like this I could not understand. As they were quarrelling, I became sad by hearing thoso words from Mega, but I controlled my emotions and sadness and I said "I am sorry that for me you are getting problem but I will try to move as soon as I find my family". Then she said in low voice which could also hear " I want you to go now". Which I reacted as if I hadn't heard. Mr Yadav was not in the house as he had gone to his job in the morning. After that incident, I don't want to face her because she was really harse. So I spend most of the time by sleeping and trying my best to remember my past but every time I failed. Next day I got up a little bit late Mr Yadav came to wake me up.As I got up "I asked him when will you go to office". then he said today is holiday and he asked "how did you spend yesterday" I told him I was really bored but I did have a nice sleep then he said "don't worry today you will not get bored as we go to play cricket in the ground and you will make new friends. Then I said "I don't know the game as I don't know if I have played It or not". Then he said don't worry "I will teach you if you will not be able to play". Today I had fun playing cricket, making new friends and playing with Ruhi. Next day I was again ready to get bored but to my surprise I didn't as I have found a way in which I would not get bored. I read story which ishita have given to me. I spend most of the time reading story book.I read Chetan bhagat's novel Revolution 2020 and it was a great novel.
*Next day something unusual happened. Megha came to wake me up and thanked me for something.*
