Chapter 78: can't think straight

Daisy's POV

Today I came back to the office after spraining my ankle and Richard didn't let me go for 2 days. and since that day Richard has been a little cold to me as if I am the most guilty just because I have lunch with Fernando, even though Fernando is just a very reliable friend and colleague until he manages to get a cooperation agreement with Mr. Johanes.

I feel his possessiveness is not because of excessive jealousy or love, but like he wants to control me and make me his slave as he said in the first moment we lived life as husband and wife. I'm still disappointed to this day, but I dare not argue.

"Daisy..."

A baritone voice broke my thoughts. I saw Fernando enter the room carrying a file.

"You just need to sign now, I've handled everything," he said as he placed the file on the table in front of me.

Lazily read the file, then immediately signed it.

"Are you feeling better?" he asked.
