Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Will of the Abyss
Creatures of the abyss crept around a sleeping dark elf, fighting over who will get to have a taste of her first. Amidst their bickering, an ancient, heavy voice echoed throughout the land and in the minds of the demons, "If any of you dare to harm even a single hair on her body... You would know the consequences of your actions, right?" A dominating might scared the demons into submission, "She will become the strongest warrior of the Shadow Abyss! Come forth, creatures of the Abyss, serve your new master!"
"Long live the Dominator's might! Long live the Master!"
"Excellent!" showing a mischievous grin, the man in ancient clothing transformed into the Abyss Dominator. 'It's about time for her to wake up.'
'My head hurts...' moaning in pain, I observed my surroundings. "So, this is the abyss..." I stood up and suddenly I saw 'it,' a dark evanescent figure with bewitching purple eyes - the Abyss Devil! Strangely, I wasn't afraid of it, more like I was captivated by it's eyes... I reached out my hand and it came closer. "Your eyes... They are very beautiful."
In the corner of my eye, I saw an elf with lavender eyes that had a scarlet glow, and skin with a mysterious blue tone. 'What happened to me?' That mysterious power...
"A warm blue light that protects..." exhilarated I exclaimed, "The Moon God's blessing!"
I focused the power into my hands and released it. A dark ball of magic tore the giant boulder to shreds. 'Dark magic?'
"I can skillfully manipulate the abyss to release dark magic," shocked yet delighted, I reveled at my new found power. "And I have the Moon God's blessing."
"That's correct. It is the will of the Shadow Abyss to appoint you as its voice," a charming seductive voice spoke. "Making it your duty to rule over the demonic denizens."
"Who are you?"
Coming out of the darkness, a beautiful woman filled with demonic charm introduced herself, "I am Alice, the Blood Demon Queen. It is my honor to serve the will of the Abyss."
'Alice? You don't mean... The one that seduced the king and made Queen Vexana like 'that'?' Dumbfounded, I stuttered, "Your majesty, why do you say that I should rule?"
"Please call me Alice, I am unworthy of such title, I'm merely a servant of the abyss," she kneeled in front of me as if she's done something wrong, "The Abyssal Demon has chosen you as its master, therefore, you have become the will of the Abyss."
"Uh, Alice, you can also call me Selena," a rumbling noise was heard, bashful, I asked, "Alice, do you have something to eat? I'm a bit famished, you see?"
"Of course, Selena," she led me and the abyss demon to a dark majestic castle.
While the elf was unaware, Alice wore a grim expression, 'This seemingly cute girl isn't ordinary, the power within her is unnerving. I have to be careful or else I'll lose my head...'
