" I'm going to destroy this country." Ivar said smiling.
Then a moment of silence appeared. It was definitely not what had expected.
Kazan then immediately ran over to hug Lucy's thigh, begging them to redraw their decision.
" PLEASE DON'T DESTROY IT! WE DIDN'T MEAN TO OFFEND YOU! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING TO RUKE BUT DON'T TOUCH THE PEOPLE, YOU COULD EVEN DO ANYTHING T.."
" Young master, please don't say that. I didn't offend them, it was you. WHY ARE YOU SACRIFICING ME!"
The 3 girls sat back and watch the two males argue, it was truly amusing. Never have they ever thought that the Demon heir is this childish under his cold facade. The topics they were arguing was even more fascinating.
They argued from politics, to historic subjects, then theories, even to fashion brands. By the time they were done, the topic was changed to various food in different continents.
' This is my first time seeing such a childish argument.'
' Really, they must be extremely special then.'
If Ivar said that she was impress by their discussion, then they must be really special. Since Ivar is used to going around and asking people about the latest gossips, she is constantly in the spotlight. Unlike Ivar, Tinuviel also gather information but she does it in the dark. She spies and disguises to approach targets to check if the rumours are true. Ivar is also a good talker, she handles most comments with a smile when she goes out. Ivar could be said to have the most experience with arguments. After they gathered information, they would go back and tell Lucy. She would then strategize the next steps.
Although they all have specific roles, the roles would constantly e overlapped with other ones. Since their group only had 3 members, the amount of work is tremendous since they were many things they needed to do.
Seeing this sight somehow reminds them of their younger self, the ones that weren't tainted during the war. The ones that were still living in the Demon Forest.
" Are you done?" Lucy asked after the pair had stop arguing.
The pair that was clearly in their own world suddenly flinch at Lucy's world. Looks like they finally realized that they were in the middle of an important conversation.
Their cheeks were flushed red when they realized that they might had embarrassed themselves in front of the group that had threatened to destroy their kingdom. Because of them, they had angered those powerful people and caused the kingdom to end like this!
At this moment, they truly wanted to cry. It was truly unfair!.
" Excuse me, did we talk about anything inappropriate?" Ruke gathered his courage and asked.
After that, he turned surprise by the little chuckle that the girl with brown hair and yellow eyes let out. Was this too funny for them? Seeing him suffer like this?
" Of course it's not that bad. I mean you started from politics, to history, then theories, and then to fashion brands. You even argued about your clothe sizes! Next, you then talked about who is more handsome and who is more popular. It was truly narcissistic. After that you guys talked about other matter and finally ended with food. Thanks to that, now we know even more information about you and it would make you have an even less favourable for us." Ivar teased, it was true that she was enjoying this too much. What a sadist.
The pair of nobles continue to flushed red that they didn't know was possible, this was truly embarrassing. When they are together in the office without anyone else except for the pair, they would constantly argue about matters to calm themselves down. It takes a lot of energy to appear emotionless, especially when they get insulted, or gets surrounded by ladies.
Because of the constant amount of noble ladies around them, it slowly took a toll on women's reputation on them. Since all of them are nobles, it is clear that they were spoiled all their lives and have never work before. Most or all of them would be arrogant or would cling to one of the higher nobles to gain better status. The pair also rarely go outside so they wouldn't be knowledgeable to a normal citizen's life so they would also assume that normal girls would just cling to males because they are rich.
' Just by the way they act, I could tell that they are the dictionary meaning of nobles, arrogant, narrow-minded and rich.' Lucy said.
' Would this be a good idea to form an alliance with the?'
' I think they are quite interesting. Although, they are narrow-minded, I don't think making an alliance with them would be that bad. They are after all, only bark but no bite.'
The girls then silently talked about the alliance, whether or not to signed it. After a while, they decided that they needed to monitored the heir for a longer time. He was simply to calculative even if he is childish in the inside. Too many officials had fallen because of him.
" Demon heir, do you still want to make an alliance with us?" Lucy said arrogantly.
Kazan then looked at her, he almost forgot about how dangerous she is after looking at her eyes. She is truly dangerous, she made him fall in love with her only after meeting for the first time!
" Of course, it would be an honour to form an alliance with such strong people."
" How would you know that we are strong?" Tinuviel asked suspiciously.
" There are a few reasons. The first is that you lived in the Demon Forest in Sterier. The Demon Forest is not a place for people with magic under level 40. That then would eliminate you having a normal talent. When I met you, I could not sense your presence nor magical level. That then would leave me two reasons, one is that you don't have a magic talent or that your magic is beyond mine. I choose the second one since you all were very confident. Since I can still technically called a genius, your levels must be higher than mine by a lot."
The 3 girls scanned the male in front of them. He... was truly mysterious.
" Tell me, what's the most powerful kingdom currently?"
Kazan paused and looked at Lucy, it was clear that she was testing him on his knowledge about politics.
" The Krolelux Empire is currently the strongest in term of power, while the Xarity Kingdom is comparable to the Yekhal Kingdom in terms of wealth."
" Then what makes a country the strongest in all aspects?"
" The country should have a strong army and have good relationships with various merchants."
" Then does the citizens matter at all?"
Kazan and Ruke looked at Lucy questionably. What does their people have any part in this?
" Can you please clarify on what you mean please?"
" What I mean is that, is making your people happy a priority?"
This is the question that was the most important to them. They only want open-minded people, the rest are not needed.
During their previous life, they had seen the whole lifespan of multiple kingdoms. Most of the time, the reason was either that the ruler was to spoiled and stupid or the country is weak and too kind. The kind countries would definitely not survive since they never have a chance to prepare for war properly, it was never their mindset to engage themselves in war.
The girls had secretly been helping those countries but they unfortunately didn't make it, most of the citizens were turned into slaves and the rulers were killed.
So in this life, they wanted to prevent that and this will determine if it's worth it to do so.
" I think that they are important..."
" Is that what you think, why is that?"
This time, Kazan was unable to utter any words. This was one of the questions that he had never asked himself. He, the continent previous prodigy, is surprised by this question.
" So you don't know why?"
" I'm sorry, it was never in books or were included in any discussions we had."
" Do you know why we threaten to destroy this country?"
Kazan and Ruke shake their heads.
" It was too see if you would want to save yourself first or the citizen, and you guys kind of pass. Even if you would have to sacrifice a demon heir or the future duke."
This comment made Kazan flushed, he wanted to dig a hole and hide away from all of the stares in the room.
" I then observe your actions which is surprisingly skillful for even a genius, well at least during this time. Your mind is also pretty sharp."
" So the only thing you need to improve on is experience, you previously said that you read books and join noble discussions, right? Do you go out a lot?" Tinuviel asked.
" Seeing that you guys are not speaking, I'm assuming that you don't. How can you not go out and see the life outside the palace? Try to go out and see the citizen's life, and not all girls like to cling to men."
The males bowed their heads shamefully. It was true that they needed to go out but they never liked going outside so they just procrastinate it.
" If you want to make an alliance with us then you should go and gather the lifestyle of your people. Also, go find the answer to these questions for me." Lucy threw a piece of paper to silver head.
Kazan caught it and read its content.
The paper's content:
1. What is the strongest country in term of power and why?
2 What is the wealthiest country and why?
3. Does having happy citizens benefit the economic of the country?
4. What is the country which is the weakest and why?
" We will meet again in one week time, and I expect you to have the answers to all question."
" Where will we meet?"
" Go to Bloodbow's palace here in Xarity, 7 days form now. Anytime would be fine. Just tell the front office your identity and they will know."
" You can bring your attendant but that's it. Also don't tell your fiance and your parents. You wouldn't want to get their hopes up right?" Ivar said.
The group then stood up and look at the pair.
" Hope to see you soon, if you don't come. This will be the last time that we will meet each other again." Before disappearing, Tinuviel whispered.
After they disappeared, the pair was left frozen on the spot. DID THEY JUST TELEPORT? What is this phenomenon.
" Young master, what just happened?"
" I... don't know."
" Is this really worth it to take such a risk. There is a chance that they will end us even if we answer all those questions."
" ... They won't"
" This group is truly mysterious, not only are they Bloodbow members but they seem to hold incredible power. We must take extreme caution."
" Ruke, clear my schedule for the next 7 days."
" Of course... what? Do you understand how much work that is. Not to mention, all the ladies will be so disappointed on you canceling last minute."

This time, Ruke remain silent. This was truly confusing. How did those girls managed to bring the real young master out while some had been trying for decades!
" It looks like I'm truly lacking in many aspects, the next week will be spent on answering those questions. I have a feeling that they won't all be listed in books."
" When will we start, young master."
" The end of the 3rd Jal today." And with that he started to head to his room to rest.
Meanwhile, Ruke was once again speechless.
THE END OF THE 3rd JAL!
It's currently the middle of the 1rst Jal, which mean that he barely has 3 Jal to finish the preparation. Looks like he won't be getting any sleep tonight.
