Greed's lips curled into a smile that shined more light than his head, for his teeth were studded with jewels, "Alright! The 7 Deadly Sins are having a reunion!"
"What's everyone's ETA because I doubt Wrath and Pride can," just as he was finishing his sentence, a thin incredibly sharp slash came inches away from, what would have been his hair.
"Whoa!" Daoist Countless Treasure managed to avoid purely thanks to the Rank 8 Detection Gu embedded on his robe, "That was close."
"Tch," Could be heard on the battlefield, it came from none other than Red Lotus!
"Just as I suspected," Star Constellation had retreated a fair distance from the chaos and was observing the battlefield, "That Daoist Countless Treasure's robe is a marvel of a Gu House, it should have the capability to attack, defend, warn, increase movement speed and countless other functions it's even able to disrupt my calculations somewhat."
"Damn, just my luck, Star Constellation is such a pain in the ass," Daoist Countless Treasure knew that an analyst that was given time and space could dominate any battlefield.
"Fine…I'll have to give it my all," with a snap of his fingers Daoist Countless Treasures began pulling out mountains of materials and Immortal Gu.
In just a split second he had pulled out an entire fleet of Gu Houses!
It started with maybe ten or twenty Rank 6 Gu Houses followed by 5 or so Rank 7s and only a handful of Rank 8s.
"Oh?" Star Constellation glanced curiously at the fleet of Gu Houses, "This isn't just a random assortment of Gu Houses, they form a cohesive unit, like a miniature army, with files and positions such as Fodder, Soldier, Gunner, Blocker, Commander, etc…"
"As expected of the number 1 Wisdom Path Cultivator, you've noticed the trick behind this ensemble of Gu Houses, collectively known as the Armada."
Before she could say anything,
"Tsk, big deal it's just a bunch of Gu Houses with only a few Rank 8s, nothing to even sneeze about. A mere bug." Giant Sun scoffed, and the entire party glared at him once again.
"Hmph fools!" Daoist Countless Treasure scoffed from the General Gu House at the centre, impressively it was a Rank 9 Gu House! But one that focused on Defense.
"Witness the might of Money!" Treasure Yellow Heaven held up a Golden Orb.
"Wealth Gu!" Star Constellation instantly recognised what was within it, "No wonder even with every incomplete recipe of Wealth Gu we had we could never make it! The truth was you had it it the whole time."
Indeed, Daoist Countless Treasure had the mythical Wealth Gu!
It was the centrepiece of the Rank 9 Gu House Daoist Countless Treasure was holding, The Wealth Of Nations!
With 1 spin of the Wealth Of Nations he doubled the number of Gu Houses present.
It started with 1 Fleet then 2, 2 turned 20, 20 turned to 40 and so forth!
"If 1 Gu House isn't enough how about 2? If 2 isn't enough what about a 1000!"
Of course, Daoist Countless Treasure was no bug, he was a proud member of the 7 Sins, and their might was no longer something Ranks could define.
"Son of a," Star Constellation cursed, to someone at their level regular Gu Houses were nothing much, but time wasn't on their side, and just the Rank 9 Defensive Gu House alone was annoying, but there wasn't just 1 or 2 but a total of 7!
"Hmph," Daoist Countless Treasure's voice resounded from all 7 General Gu Houses, "This little Armada of mine certainly can't stop you, but it should distract you long enough to get the job done."
Star Constellation ground her teeth, "Even with this trick of his, it still wouldn't have fazed any of us, the problem is 1 we're not his goal and 2 we're running out of time."
If Doaist Countless Treasure's goal was to kill them then even Star Constellation had no worries, the gulf in their powers was such that just the natural Dao Marks within her body was enough to block any attack below Rank 8!
However, the problem was that his target had always been to stall for time, and that was something they couldn't combat.
Indeed, the world tremors were getting closer and closer in intervals, which heralded the awakening of the Heaven Refining Demon Venerable, soon to be Heaven Refining Demon Emperor; Fang Yuan!
Of course, Spectral Soul and Qing Chou were too overtaken by their bestial instincts to care nor notice the increased tension and just used the opportunity to get closer to their goal, the Sin of Pride; Limitless.
"Damnit!" Star Constellation roared in anguish, "Heaven and Earth deal with Spectral Soul and Qing Chou, Red Lotus assist me in finding the weakness in the Fleet and Giant Sun."
"Yes?"
"Shut the F*** Up and help keep Limitless safe and aid whoever with Long Range support!"
They didn't spend time squabbling and jumped straight into action.
Heaven and Earth were still not of close enough mind to mere again, but their might apart was still enough to contend against Spectral Soul and Qing Chou.
"I'll handle Qing Chou you deal with Spectral Soul," Heaven yelled.
A snarky, "Don't tell me what to do," was all Earth gave before heading toward Spectral Soul.
Red Lotus and Star Constellation flew in front of the Armada.
Immortal Killer Move ----------- Roar Of Time!
A deep blue wave radiated across the Armada, dusting the Rank 6s like it was nothing, but before it could spread a couple of Rank 7 ships flew up and intercepted the rest of the oncoming wave, getting severely damaged, with some even breaking but stopping the wave in its tracks.
"Hmm," Red Lotus squinted, "That wasn't a full-powered attack, but stopping it with only Rank 7s is still impressive."
He turned to Star Constellation, "How did he make so many Gu Houses the same?"
Since Immortal Gu was unique no two Gu Houses were the same, they might look the same and function similarly but never exactly, not in the copy-paste method that was being displayed.
"It's part of their design, they are based on the same logic as the Peaceful Soil Heavy Mountain Fortress, using a Killer Move as their base."
Red Lotus nodded his head, "I see so the type of Gu no longer matters only the Dao Marks within."
"Yup, but this has been upgraded so that not a single of these Gu Houses contains an Immortal Gu, only Mortal Gu with copious amounts of Immortal Gu Material to make up the difference."
Star Constellation wasn't number 1 in Wisdom Path for show, she had accurately deduced 99% of the secrets behind the Armada, the only thing left was the General Gu House and The Wealth Of Nations.
"Interesting…" from within the Peaceful Soil Heavy Mountain Fortress, Wu Shuai sat in contemplation.

zulbucks Grand things are coming soon, I plan to finish this by the middle of next year, and as I will be done with my national service by then I hope to release my novel on this site at the same time this ends, things are finally concluding and I hope to see yall in the next one as well.
