Chapter 2: The Mission

Three months have passed from that accursed day when those Demonic cultivators have robbed the treasury under his protection his life has been living hell since then he has to take more dangerous missions without any rewards whenever the Chen Tribe sends thier Rank3 elder at frontline he has to face them he nearly died a few times if not for timely intervation of few fellow elders and the healing Gu Masters support. His proud stomach which made him look like a wealthy merchant has now decreased to point where he can see the ground even his wife has also started to pay more attention to him. Truly these three months have been difficult for him. He was about to continue his musing but his slave disturbed him.
"Elder Fei a Gu master is outside the house he says he has message for you"
Huh a Gu master ever since he has been removed from protection duties and sent to front lines the amount of Gu masters who wanted to curry his favour have dropped and those who owe him hopes he dies taking some of the Gu master of Chen Tribe with him.
"Let him in" yes master the slave responded and left to bring the guest in.
"Elder Fie how are you" asked the ranked two Gu master named Shi Xiao xue.
"Miserable but you aren't here to ask that are you"
"No Elder Fie I am here on the order of the Tribe's patriarch he has summoned you and expects you to be in his abode as soon as possible" huh what happened did they find the thieves or is it another dangerous mission.
"Wait here while I change my clothes and pack the essentials" leaving the guest room I ran towards my room in hurry and started packing all the food ,water I will need to feed me and my Gu's if it is another dangerous mission.
"Let's go we shouldn't keep the clan leader waiting" I said moving towards the destination while Xiao xue follows me.
10 minutes later.
I see the other two Gu masters who were with me protecting the treasury are also here. Sigh~ its going to be another mission maybe it will more deadly since three Rank 3 Gu masters are needed.

Shi Fu Hei pov

"We greet the Tribe patriarch" all three incompetent Gu master spoke.
"What is our mission Tribe leader" said the guy in the middle. Huh look at that he has some sense he may actually survive this mission.
"I want you all three to kill the Gu masters and mortals of the other three tribes"
"Patriach how will we do that!! We don't have any means to enter the territories other clans"
"No you don't but you have to do it . Only some high level elders knows that we don't have any resources in tribe's treasury they are using the money of thier own branch of family to support the new students in academy and Gu masters of the tribe if Chen tribe found out about this they may team up with Fu and Mu tribe to attack us from all sides . Only a collective disaster or rewards can bring all humans together and the weather change is estimated to come in 3 to 4 months".
"DO you understand the importance of this mission" I spoke more serious than ever.
"Yes Tribe Patriach" all three nodded with thier determination and some fear on thier faces.
"Good I expect all three of you heading to the territories of all three Tribes tomorrow and Shi Lu Fei will be team leader you can take 20 Rank 2 Gu masters and 30 Rank 1".
"Thank you Patriach I will not disappoint you again" Lu Fie spoke and I nodded .
"See that that you don't".
After few minutes Xiao xue spoke "will it not affect our few frontline if we took 20 Rank2 and 30 Rank1"
"No half of the Gu masters will be those who can't fight anymore in the frontline or the old man's enjoying thier retirement".
Xiao xue too agreed "its about time they do something for Tribe after sitting around doing nothing for the Tribe for so many years, but how will they enter the territories of the other Tribes"
"They will receive some of mine and the elders suggestions at night it depends on them which method they want to choose".
"Do you trust them master with this important mission".
"We do need some Rank three Gu masters for this plan and those three have been guarding the treasury longer than I have been the the Tribe's Patriarch they are loyal and thier families too resides near the academy so no need to worry"
