Chapter 18: Inspired to create own organization

The remaining elders of both families were in the Hoshi family hall, Yuki was sitting on a small chair in a corner and listening to the elders' conversation while waiting to be asked for her plan but everyone was discussing the same matter in different terms without getting to the point.

Out of all the arguments, Yuki saw the fear of Kanesuke and an association called the fragrance pill association.

Gakuto realized the ship was sailing in circles and suggested, "Ok, let's listen to Yuki's thoughts first. Yuki, what is the idea you said earlier?"

"Before that, tell me why you all are scared of Kanesuke," she asked.

Everyone got puzzled for a second and started to bite their nails as until then they thought Yuki knew full scale of Kanesuke and the power backing him up. They started to feel despair after knowing that she was ignorant.

Gakuto's spine was still straight as they still had her master on their side, so he explained, "Kanesuke was an alchemist working for an association called fragrance pill association.

It is a big business group that monopolized the pills and herbs business for a few decades eventually anyone who wants to open an herb or pill shop needs to get a license from that association. Without pills, people can't improve their strength, so forces like families, academies, sects are respectable towards them. Even the master title for Kanesuke was given by that association."

Yuki felt that there were many cultivators and they constantly need pills, so how could Kanesuke constantly supply so many pills and even had time to take trips, as he was not in town. She could only guess that they made Kanesuke's name as a brand to control people's need for pills.

There must be many more alchemists making pills behind the scene, "So they are strong due to monopolization of pills right?" she asked for confirmation.

"More or less that is summery," replied Gakuto.

'System, can I teach others about alchemy from my book?' she asked the system.

'Why? If everyone knows it, then they can protect themselves right?' asked Yuki naively.

'This is not your previous world to form institutions to spread knowledge, wrong knowledge in wrong hands will become disastrous. Just think about it, you are a genius but you wasted 30 sets of materials in practice to make the first pill but these people are just 1, 2, or maximum 4-star talents, just think how many herbs they would waste and if you count everyone then herbs will get extinct within few days.

Let's say the herbs are abundant, if every person becomes as strong as the elders then just think about the disasters it could cause by them fighting each other.'

Yuki realized the extent of the matter and gave up on the idea. The elders looked at her puzzled expression and started to lose hair little by little.

Then she got an idea, 'fragrance pill association could hide the knowledge until now, right? Then why don't I form my own organization and teach only a few selected people.'

'That is what people call a foolish idea,' the system commented which disappointed Yuki, 'but there was no start of the fire in this world if a foolish caveman didn't foolishly attempt to create a fire which was opposed by other people.'

Yuki took a few seconds to digest the meaning in those words and slapped a thumbs up on her left hand 'ho!' she put a wondered face as she finally understood that, the elders felt awkward for her expressions changing silence, "got it," she shouted at once, which startled the elders who were fully focused on her expression, they conducted themselves out of embarrassment.

Gakuto got happy and asked, "What is it, Yuki?"

"Let's form our own organization," Yuki declared with her fist clutched in confidence.

At a time, all the elders slapped their foreheads, for realizing that she was still a child, because there was no use in forming an organization as no one will support them and no one had an idea for a brilliant business to start an organization.

Yuki felt muddled by their sudden despair, "wha...what is the problem with you all of a sudden?"

"Yuki, we don't have any special skills like alchemy or blacksmith to form an organization. It's a waste of time," Gakuto explained.

"I will use my alchemy techniques to teach alchemy to talented people," Yuki declared.

Everyone's tops blew on what to make of it because they guessed the techniques would come from her master and if they take it, she would punish Yuki for spreading her techniques. Yuki was a little girl, so she didn't know the techniques of others shouldn't be spread.

"Yuki, don't even speak that again," Gakuto reprimanded, "the things your master teaches you, you must never pass them to anyone without her permission."

Yuki then understood they were coming from that point of view; she chuckled and explained, "Dad, these techniques are taught to kids from the place where my master came from. Did you forget that the peak of cultivation is crown chakra?" she reminded them that the world was vast beyond their imagination; slowly everyone got motivated by acknowledging the fact.

"But establishing the organization is a long-term solution," Akihiko reminded, "we have to find a solution to evade Kanesuke's wrath. Even if he doesn't particularly feel bad about your words, others will definitely pour fuel for the small spark and we become incur to his wrath."

Everyone got unmotivated again.

"All this tension making your memory fuzzy father-in-law," Yuki reminded while showing her back, "did you forget I said I will become an alchemist in a month?"

Those words became the dawn of hope, without delay Akihiko announced, "Yes, from now on we will fully support Yuki to become an alchemist, as long as she can become an alchemist we can protect ourselves with public support."

"No need to depend on the people who will change their opinion according to power shift," Yuki continued, "we will offer the small families to train one alchemist and one blacksmith in each family so that they will ally with us and people will come to our side automatically."

Everyone got happy to hear her plan. "Do you even have techniques for blacksmith?" asked Gakuto.

"Yes, my master was too lazy to divide techniques, so she gave all low-level techniques to me and blacksmith techniques included, soon we will rise like the break of dawn, we just have to hold on until then."

"Then you should immediately start practicing," suggested Akihiko.

"Yes," Yuki replied and walked away.

Akihiko in his family said, "no matter what, don't disturb her."

Town guards, Murata family, Nakamura family, Fuminori and some people started to cause trouble to Hoshi and Kanakuba family members. The servants left their jobs in both families out of fear of other families.

The system instructed, 'Follow these 3 mosquitoes with only your head. You need to identify their location at any given moment.'

Yuki practiced it in the daytime. At night she meditated to improve her concentration.
