Chapter 2: Start of the Journey ~ Reyna

Hey there. My name is Reyna Videns, and I am about to tell you the story of how I found the Holy Trio and stopped the second war.

A few days ago I was in class at Euthoria HS as usual, and we were talking about the War of Survival, the war between the Demons and the Heavenlies. Someone mentioned that this was destined to happen again in the future, that it had been foreseen by some prophet. When the prophecy was foretold, a lot of people ignored it's warnings. But in the last thirty years or so, a lot of things have gone off. The fairies sealed their forests, the Lycans have gone into the mountains, the Vampires are slowly disappearing, and the Heavenlies aren't visiting the mainland anymore. There have been rumors of demons reappearing despite being sealed in their own prison on the island Mizeareigh.

Some say another war is coming, and some say it won't happen again for another age. I know for a fact that there is a war coming, but I can't tell for sure when.

When the teacher asked us if knew anything about the trio themselves I raised my hand without a second's hesitation. I've been studying them since I could read, and I know almost everything history's recorded about them. Well, if there is a war coming onto us we need them. I think my best bet to find them would be to go to Worthwood, Araycien's capital city, but that's the last recorded place they were seen in.

The quickest way to Worthwood would be over the mountains, but I can't manage that on my own and no Euthorian citizen would help me if they knew the true nature of my quest. I'll have to go to the town of Greyacre, where I can take a day to rest. From there I'll go through the underground tunnels of the Oiwa. The tunnels come out right on the outskirts of Westpine, and there I can take a day or two off as well. A mile or two to the south of Westpine lies my uncle's farm Pondacre, right on the line of the Fairy Forest Thatchstone. From Thatchstone I can take the path that follows the river Eire, that flows through the city of Waterdale. From there, the path leads through the sands of Woodsage. Yes, I know. Why name a desert Woodsage? Well, it used to be the greatest fairy forest of all time, but it was utterly destroyed in the first war. Since then, it's been turned into a deserted, sandy place, that no living creature crosses for no reason.

To the east of Woodsage is the tavern White Helm, and there I can definitely get some answers about the trio. After all, it was once run by two of them. When I get to the White Helm, there's not so much farther to go to Worthwood, I only have to cross the river Geneva, and that might be a problem, since it's as broad as the wingspan of a Commander Heavenly and deep as hell too.

Once you've passed Geneva, you've got a clear day's way to Worthwood.

I plan on leaving tomorrow but I need to be careful. I cannot be seen, especially by that bastard Stradivarius. He'd report me to my father and he can't know of my plan. He'd never let me go if he knew about it.

You see, he and the whole of Euthoria are really against the Holy Trio for some reason. Everytime I ask about the matter, I'm hit with the usual "You'll understand when you're older." Throughout all history books, I have yet to find something that justifies that hate, because after all, they did save the land, did they not? I might not have my father's support, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
