Chapter 2: Settling in
After waking up from sleeping the entire night until 6am, Kakashi started yawning and took a shower, got dressed, made his bed and cleaned his ninja tools and weapons. After that was done, he went out and caught some fish by the river and made a simple breakfast.
After eating his breakfast and doing the dishes Kakashi sighed.
'I am lucky, it seems that this morning routine is ingrained into this body from before. It is convenient that kakashi is this organized. It made it easier to find the Hatake clan scrolls lying around in the house.'
Kakashi's father, Sakumo, used to be the Hatake clan patriarch.
The clan patriarch always has several scrolls of jutsu from within the clan stored away at home. The Hatake clan is well known for the Kenjutsu, specifically with their chakra blade usage.
'I've come across several scrolls that detail the Hatake kenjutsu style. It appears that I've already mastered about half of it. I have 5 short-term goals in mind right now.'
'I am going to achieve full mastery of this kenjutsu technique and also explore the possibility of transitioning to Purple Lightning instead of the original Chidori. The Purple Lightning fixes the Chidori issues described in the manga while dealing even more damage than the original Chidori.'
'Those will be my first goal and second goal and as for my third goal, simply asking Fugaku to remove my sharingan will do. As having the sharingan will hinder my progress tremendously.'
'It's constantly draining a lot of stamina and chakra while simultaneously exerting a lot of stress on my body just to maintain it. It's not like I can turn it off or on when I want to.'
'My fourth goal is to leave the anbu once I've achieved the first 3 goals. Once that is done, I'll start creating the various Purple Lightning sub-jutsu and also get a few regular Chidori sub-jutsu to work with it as well.'
'My fifth and final short term goal is to create or practice one or more new jutsu from other changes in chakra nature to increase my arsenal. While it also increases my versatility with the various chakra natures.'
'Also if there are sealing jutsu that's fine since I might be dealing with Tailed Beasts in the future anyway.'
'Regardless, it's time for me to venture out and conduct some reconnaissance in the village. Despite inheriting Kakashi's memories, I believe it would be worthwhile to personally witness the sights of Konoha.'
'I am eager to see the majestic Hokage faces, the village gates, the training grounds, and even the academy with my own eyes.'
Shortly after, Kakashi could be seen leaving his apartment. He wandered around for a while and got to see a lot of the village including everything he wanted to see. Kakashi was surprised that there was a lot more to see than what was shown in the manga.
There were many street vendors and a lot of cute shops and stores, many restaurants with good food and even the renowned Ichiraku Ramen shop.
