Chapter 94: My Property
Sean avoided the question and moved his rook forward. Leslie won both rounds and they decided to watched Poor Things (By the way, I totally recommend it).
Once the movie was over, Leslie asked, "What's going on with you? You never spend time with us."
"Is it bad to change, little sis?" He said, feeling a bit guilty. "I'll send some money to you. Maybe a hundred thousand."
"Whatever you say. But, I am suspecting you."
She narrowed her eyes and they spent the rest of the day playing sharades, quizes and Scrabble. They decided to go to a carnival when she confronted him.
"Why are being so nice? What is the new job that you got? Who is your boss? What are you hiding? Those are all the questions I have for you." Leslie frowned when he ignored her.
"It's nothing important." He said coldly
Heather sent him a text and he knew that it was time.
"I have to go get something. A friend of mine just texted me." He looked miserable.
"Is something wrong?" Leslie hugged him. "You can tell us."
He hugged her back, hugged his dad and mom. "I'm fine. Let me go get it."
He wanted to tell them but, it would ruin the plan. He left the house, feeling a piece of his life roughly ripped from him. He walked down the street and saw a car approaching him.
With a blur, the surrounding area was covered with smoke and he heard an explosion. Like an illusion, he heard a soft whisper, "Well done."
He woke up in a car and saw Heather, reapplying lipstick. He was in a daze. Was it a success?
"As from now on, you belong it me." Heather snapped her little mirror shut. "Do you have anything to say that will contradict this statement?"
"No, I do not."
"I love an obedient boy." She smiled at him. "I'm dying your hair, changing your eye colour. You'll get a new phone and you won't have to work. Obey me and you live. You don't want to know what happens if you don't."
