Chapter 67: Beauty Rest

"Misha, what did my Father want? Are you ok? He didn't do anything to you, right?" I ask. 

Misha walks closer, and as he does, the light shines on his face. Is he blushing? Misha doesn't make eye contact with me. Why is he avoiding my eyes? Is he embarrassed or something? Weird. 

"No, your Father was pretty reasonable. He doesn't trust me, though. I expected that, though. I almost slipped up. I talked about my past instead of Rin's. Your Father is familiar with Rin's dad." Misha explains. 

Misha walks to one of the two couches that are separated by a table. He chooses to sit next to Anon instead of me. Why? Why does that make me feel like shit? Anon notices and scoots over to give him room without acknowledging him. 

"Wait, my Father, knows Rin's dad? I know he was a part of the royal army, but that's odd. What did he say exactly?"
