Chapter 2: Fighting for dear life
Sankara can see the room is a lounge of some sort, all the people are long gone the only things left are those they couldn't take with. The bar and stage are both color of ivory. The walls are stained with as the last function holographic painting flickers struggling to stay relevant.
Sankara had scared what appeared to a double mouth rat, that has a blade for a tail. Being a man bitterly afraid of all things pests especially those of the crawling kind, he leaps to his feet stepping haste into a very fine piece of glass of "OMG!!!"
Sankara grabs his foot hops to the the staircase under which the double rat had run under. Upon closer inspection he had stepped onto a dead Phalanxes [double rats real name] detached tail. Lucky for him the tail is razor thin.
The man with tentacles for a chin appears on the street, his skin is dry and crack the uv light and serverly affected him. He fires beyond the open doors.
Sankara sees the beam it hits the startling him and the pest each trying to find a corner to scurry into. Sankara hobbles to the ivory bar climbing over as another beam of light grazes his left bum scorching his exposed cheek.
Sankara is crawls now knowing full well what is meant when they say "That guy is a pain in my arse." Sankara is looking for anything he can use to fend off his attacker. He moves into the bar. Where a mini fridge he has never seen before can fit his body. He is surprised to find that it's no more a fridge than he is an Overlord. The entire thing feels a bit warm. Inside is what feels like a rotisary spike or in Sankara's mind a spear.
He awaits the squid man, his ass stinging him repeatedly from the pain of being shoot at. The squid man is omat his wits he will soon need to return to aquatic zone of the Grand bazaar. A space station as large three moons nestled in the gases of a gaint planet. It's is a technological of marvel of unimaginable proportion. Housing every kind of alien, foolish enough to be sent this palace death sex and fighting robots.
Sankara sees the ankles of the squidman who has finally made it behind the bar, he had started upstairs Sankara has been in his warm fridge for Almost forty minutes. For him every minutes that passed was like an hour his mind racing more and more as the possibilities of death run through his mind. A huge lump of fear stuck in his throat is the only reason he is not crying as he is more afraid of being dead than the squidman thus he whimpers in silence.
Sankara thrusts at the squidman ankles his spear traveling through and tripping his other leg. The pain had caused him to let go of his gun a Glimp nine. The squidman can feel desperation climbing up his leg. He had never seen this kind of alien before but he could see that he is new to the bazaar and planned to sell the body to the flesh peddlers on the lower floors and make a few credits on the side. Never did he think that he would become the prey. He tries one last thing having already sold his ink glands for a couple Gul stones.
"&$*#&! %@*#$ & $$&# $&#@ () & $ #&&$_* #&& _$$&_-*#$* " This is all that Sankara heard, thus he proceeds to kill the squidman using the spike to stab him in the spine. He grabs the to try and finish off the squidman but the gun shocks him. Sankara has to look into the beady eyes of the squidman as he stabs him in the head with his spike.
With each stab brine comes out of the squidmans head it takes Sankara over twenty two minutes to kill the squidman.
With each stab the squidmans tentacles slowly went limp until finally his hands let go of his body as the squid man went limp his blood and brine being the only liquid poured at this bar in over a hundred years.
