Chapter 22: going on a journey/filler
finishing the song, I felt my mind open up more. I think I'm ready to start cultivating. putting the piano back into the space ring I sit down and start drawing in mana first. ever since I awakened my sword I lost 99% of my qi amd mana this dropping back to almost regular mortal. I tried to restart it but i felt weird, this time is a no go as well.. sighing I take out both manuals I look at them. absolute zero and void body. a body that can rip space apart with bare hands and mana that can freeze everything even space/time. pondering over it. both mana and qi are energy. they must have the same origin. one controls and powered the body to the limit and the other commanders elements. what Is their origin or common point. a hint. feeling close but at the same time lost.
shaking my head I go out of my room to see the head elder. once I reach his door i open without knocking to see him sitting down talking to Lei long In front of him.
"that's what you should do long, we are all counting on you," head elder said with passion.
"I wont let you down" long said somewhat embarrased.
turning their heads they see me standing by the door.
"don't mind me, I just wanted to tell the head elder I'll be leaving today to go on a journey, but don't worry I'll be at the tournament" I bowed and closed the door. In a hurry the head elder opened the door"where are you going? your still so weak, I'll get you a guard. long you guard nyx fof jer journey" he said in a panic
"I don't need a guard especially a silk pants, besides I'm going to see my brother" saying upset expression. like hell I'll make someone keep an eye on me.
"nyx your looks will land in trouble. I'm only saying this to help you." the head elder said
"I have my jojo and hera to protect me and they should be peak grade 2 demonic beasts by now" telling him in a cold manner
"what happens when go though a breakthrough again? they will attract rank 3 beasts and you will die" lei long said
it is true I can't protect them how I am. "fine" I said reluctantly
clapping his hands "good good long go escort nyx to her brother" he said with a happy smile
staring daggers at long I quickly left the room to pack my things. in my room I open the window and and scream "Jörmungandr, hera come we are leaving" knowing that theh were close I put everything in my space ring and head to the front. once I step outside I look towards the entrance and see a black carriage with rank 2 demonic horses and a coach. with my second step two snakes comes towards me with insane speed. once they get in front of me they give off a murderous intent causing the horses to bow down.
"stop that you two" walking towards them jojo slithers to my side and starts running my leg with its head. jojo Becane more silver white and grew to 3m but can grow to 10m long and 4m wide. turning my head to see hera. she was getting more silver now and grew 2m long the bumps look ready to tear.
"come on lets get in" as I walk closer to the carriage I see long appear out of no where about to climb in. "excuse me your driving so why are you getting in." I said looking at me.
"but er have a coach" he says back.
glaring at him, he retreats and climbs up on front grabbing the Raines. about to walk in the head elder shows up out of nowhere, lately i think he knows who i really since the way he acts.
"here take this" given me 90 mid grade Spirt stones.
"why are you being so nice to me" looking at him I ask honestly.
"because I know you will do great things and i want our family to rise up with you" he said with a smile.
"till I fall I'll help the lei family" I said true to my.word.
walking into the carriage which had no insignia on the outside and a red interior. sitting down I started to think about qi and mana..
if everything is from those two and both can use spirit stones that means it holds something that the both of them can use.. but it's in its raw form.. thinking deeply on it as long drove the carriage out of the city.
okay I need to try, taken out one of the mid rank Spirit stones I try to isolate all my pours and only draw in from the stone. a pure energy comes into me I quickly try to turn it into mana but then I feel like I'm.going.to.explode from overload.
I need to modify them both together to make a single manual greater then both. reading the contains over and over I map out all the similarities of them both. okay I have a rough idea of it. space and ice. I don't have many thoughts on time tho.. when something cools down it freezes to the point it doesn't move. and space is free unoccupied area. but what is time. agg.
reaching behind my head and scratching it. I'll worry about time later but for now I'll focus on this rough thought of space and ice. closing my eyes I take out 10 Sprit stones and start absorbing it. the raw enrher comes.over me and keeping it in its raw form starts to act wild.come.on
gritting my teeth I take out 40 Sprite stones and start a mad absorption. jojo and hera see me doing this and watch in worry. the energy is breaking all my bones. from the smallest bone to my skull.
I need to remold my body so it can handle the new power. 4 hours go by and I finally finish my bones with the last skull fragment connecting. feeling a disgusting taste in my mouth I open the carriage door as it was moving and fall on the ground puking up black blood.
long stopped the carriage and rushed towards me.
"you okay nyx " looking at the amount of black blood coming out
get me all the Sprit stones we have, I'll pay you back " I tell him"
very quickly he makes 500 mid rank spirited stones and 3 high ones appear. sitting in the center I draw in it all. my muscle breaks down to microscopic leaves and repairs, next was my blood being filtered out of my skin causing a vile smell. the filtered blood then makes a black caccoon around me. skin started to fall off one layer at a time. going through torture trying to keep my sanity I feel my.orgains breaking apart then right before I was at my limit.my nerve break down cuaisng the most painful thing that ever happened to me.
12hrs go by before my body started to reform. first was my skin, then it started to fill up with bones, then muscle , then organs. then finally blood. Boom the filter blood caccon broke up and when I glanced at everyone i felt that I never seen them more clearly. everything was brighter then before. sounds sounded more clearly. as if everything was new for me I look around to see the sun about to rise.
clenching my first I could feel small pops of air. space felt more tangible and if it was waves. reaching out I pluck motion as and 3 tree desinergated. I felt that I was making a wave and it went out in space to destroy that object .
"is that you nyx" long said.
turning my head I forgot about where I was a for a second "yup it's me, I did a breakthrough. I'm going to call this absolute void" I said smiling to him. before looking around to see all the ss were dust. did I absorbed everything? I ask myself. quickly o try and cultivated using the qi/mana in ther air ame o felt it move towards me very slowly. once it got to by body the energy in it rejected the qi/mana in air it was to impure. thinking about future problems i sigh smd walk back tothe carriage with long just staring at me. "I'll make sure to pay you back" I said with a genital smile thay could steal hearts. long gulps and heads to the carriage and drives it away
