Chapter 4: Training
"According to the scroll I saw , there is only few medium grade martial arts training manual on kingdom of taksha all belonging to major clan. Once someone reaches the body fitness level of a martial novice, they usually are able to start their qi training right away" Bali took in a deep breath, "The scroll said that the first time practice is the hardest!"
The martial arts scroll bali got from Vera is an incompleate high grade martial art known as kalari ,which is an ancient art Vanar clan excavated from a tomb of long deceased martial grandmaster , a realm which is a legend in Gondwana .If not for being incomplete it will not be as effective as medium grade martial arts scroll.
"My body has to warm up. The kalari is a natural process. I have to calm my heart, calm my heart without any distraction " Bali's self control was good as in former life Bali was a world renowned scientist, and to become a scientist you need to have great mind so he was able to slowly calm himself.
It was completely silent. His breathing could barely be heard. Bali started performing those hard but difficult stances mentioned in the scroll.No matter how hard he tried , he couldn't get his heartbeat to the rythm which kalari would require.
All of a sudden, the blood in his body started to move around as if it was alive, towards the red dot in his parm absorbing vitality from surrounding. Seconds later, his whole body bloated.All the vegetation around the manor dried up and many high level existence are alarmed without any clue.
The dark red pattern was like blackhole wrapping around him until it formed a devouring wormhole in his body
A wave of intense pain spread throughout his body. It felt even worse than death.
The black substance started flowing slowly along his heart like a small stream and pumped throughout his body such that it opened his meridians wherever it passed
Bali felt some weird changes happening within his body and the kalari showed some unique differences to the one mentioned in scroll. Bali followed his instinct and changed the ancient martial art according to black substance.
It may be because of the intensity of the movements that was almost unbearable, in his dizzying state, Bali felt that his body was filled with the devouring power. It was transforming him in ways he couldn't possibly imagine.After a long time, Bali awoke again,
he felt a warm sensation swirling through his body and felt his body had increased in strength.
Mining area
Since this area was the main source of ore for the clan, surely there would be plenty of high grade ores which are forged to make several weapons for Vanar clan.
In the mining area six people lay quietly on their beds. One burly guy said : "Big Brother, I brought you a job with plenty of pay and it's from royal family. We'll send three of our assasins.
